The Motivation of Love Part 4

Christians, Politics, And The Cross
We are living in a time when we desperately need to engage our culture with the only message that has any hope of transforming it. As Pastor Lutzer explores various approaches to the relationship between the state and the church, he reminds us that spiritual redemption, not political reformation, is at the heart of God’s agenda. Only the church, not a political party, can bear God’s message to a hurting world. Click below to receive this book for a gift of any amount or call Moody Church Media at 1.800.215.5001.

As members of the body of Christ we have a mission to fulfill, and a disciplined use of our resources is key to getting God’s work done. Let’s look at how to determine our priorities, and then, how to live by them.

In the body of Christ there is great diversity. Mature Christians enjoy the gifts of every member of the body, since each believer has a unique contribution to make to the growth of Christ’s kingdom.

God sees believers as part of Christ’s body, which is the church. In life’s race, Christians don’t and shouldn’t run alone. We share the actual life of God Himself in the church through His Spirit.

As Christians running the race of life, we’re blessed to be a part of an invisible assembly—the body of Christ worldwide. It’s vital to understand the body of Christ and our part in it, because God designed His church to work together.
