The Doors

Doors are meant to go through so you leave one place to enter another place. And God points to many doors in our life that we have to do our part, and that’s to go through them. But when we do, we can trust that He has made it so this new place of opportunity will be in lines with His will. Don’t leave any door unopened because blessing is just right through that gateway.

There isn’t a one of us that have “arrived” – we are all a constant work in progress. And because of that, we need to be real with ourselves and with each other. It is a battle, a fight, and sometimes the enemy’s bullets graze us or even hit us and knock us down. That’s when we need each other more than ever, to be there to help us back up and keep on fighting in this war. And one day, when we are called home, we can stand tall because we had fought the good fight. The good news is that we don’t fight alone – He is with us every single step of the way.

In the New Testament, Jesus said He is the Way, and the new church of believers were classified as being “in the Way.” So here’s the question – Are you IN the Way, or are YOU in the way? Or maybe there is something in your life that is keeping you from being in the way. We need to get whatever it is that is blocking our way from knowing the Way or getting in the way of others knowing the Way.

The Bible is filled with story after story of changed lives. Once I was blind but now I see stories. In the New Testament, Jesus was constantly challenged by the religious leaders as to his motives and tactics, but his response was always, “Which is better, that this person be healed or that they not because of your legalism?” Further, the people that were healed were glad that they were and couldn’t help but to share their story. If we have been healed in whatever way, we need to be just as bold to share our own story.
