We can all feel let down at certain times in our lives by others, by God, or even by ourselves. No matter what your circumstances may be, God promises comfort and that He will provide for all you need to do the work He has called you to do until you go home to Him.

The Old Testament Law, all the rules that you could follow, comes with a curse of death because if you break one you break them all, and it is impossible to follow them all. Christ’s death changed everything and it is only by faith in Him that we can be saved from the fate of deserving death up a tree.

Tragedy happens in this world and the reason why boils down to the sin issue in humanity. Jesus took on all sin when He died, allowing for everyone to be saved.

If you are not connected in a church where people know who you are, you are more likely to wander away from God. Find a church, get connected and help herd everyone to stay together, also finding those that are lost and bringing them back to the fold.

The Bible addresses those who are fools many times. It specifically instructs us to not do the things they do but instead to live wisely. It is not worth anything to know what the Bible says unless you live out what you know. Embrace every day, living wisely, because you could be gone tomorrow.

Jesus said that we should not consume ourselves with laying up treasures here on earth because they will inevitably be destroyed in one way or another. Instead, we should focus on investing in treasures in heaven that will last for eternity. The only way to invest in something eternal is to invest in other people.

Discipline is one way that God uses to show us what we need to change in our lives. Rather than becoming hard and letting a root of bitterness towards Him grow, we need to be willing to let go of what it is He is showing us and let Him dig up the roots of that sin so we can live at peace with Him.

Instead of being silent and doing nothing about the issue of abortion, Christians need to take a stand for what is right and defend millions of innocent lives lost. Jesus did not see His death as an inconvenience to Himself but rather willingly accepted it in order to save us.

Even when we are caught off guard by circumstances in our lives, God is never surprised by what happens. He knows what is going on and has promised His protection. Spend time with Him through prayer, Scripture and fasting and He will cover you from all directions.

Jesus modeled for us what it looks like to be a servant leader. We must follow His example and be willing to serve anyone and everyone, preparing them as they grow spiritually to do the same.

Jesus said that He is preparing a place for us in Heaven and we will either join Him when our body dies here on earth or when He comes to get us. For believers, Heaven is our true home, but those who do not believe will not enter. Do not waste time on earth, believe and do the work God has for you to do while you still can.
