The Lord loves His creation. He wants us to worship Him, not because we have to, but because we have a real relationship with Him. Worshiping prepares us for eternity. Thanking Him keeps us grateful. Our Savior, the Holy One of Israel is always by our side.

We’ve all offended the Lord. Still, He doesn’t condemn us, or send us away in anger. God’s desire is for our soul to be at rest, while He comforts us with His compassion. God is our Savior. There’s no need to be afraid. He is our joy, and our strength in time of need.

In the Second Coming, Jesus will sit on the throne, and gather those nations who have survived the Tribulation Period. The righteous nations will enter into eternal life, while the ungodly ones will go into everlasting punishment.

In the Second Coming, Jesus will speak the Word of God like a sharp two-edged sword. He will also make war on those nations who come against Him, and judge them for their ungodly deeds. God has to do this to prepare the earth for His reign.

When Christ first came to earth, Israel rejected Him, which is why the Gospel went out to the rest of the world. In the Second Coming of Jesus, He will keep His promise to Israel and rule from Jerusalem, where He gathers His people back to Him.

When Jesus returns, He will rule with an “all-knowing” knowledge. There were times in His first ministry on earth, when Jesus elected not to know certain things. This was to give us a better example of how to trust in the Father with fear, or having a sense of awe and reverence towards Him.

When Jesus returns, He will counsel with complete authority. It’s only His guidance that we can put our trust in, and not have to lean on our own understanding. Jesus will lead us with His power to defeat our enemies, and the enemies of Israel.

Isaiah, in Chapter 11 and verse 3, begins to describe what will happen when Christ returns. He also introduces us to the coming earthly kingdom of God, where the Lord will rule with wisdom and perfect understanding.

Many people today deny the fact that God has a son, or that He sent His Son Jesus down to earth to be our Lord and Savior. Throughout the Bible, God announced Himself to be the Savior of the world. Isaiah confirms this by calling Him Lord, which means the one and only, all sufficient eternal God.

Isaiah describes who the Messiah is. He will have the spirit of the Lord on Him. The spirit of wisdom and understanding will rest on Him. The spirit of counsel and might will lead HIm. And, the spirit of knowledge and the fear of the Lord will keep Him. These are also the seven spirits described to us in the Book of Revelation. We’ll also learn why the number seven is so important.
