The title of this message almost sounds like a question you would ask a friend or family member. But, God has extended this invitation to all the world. He’s asking us to come to Him, and He wants to know why we choose to continue on a path that only leads to destruction.

Our God is a God who restores. The one who has gone without will have, the one who is suffering will be comforted, and the one who is barren will be fruitful. The future for those who trust in the Lord will mean an end to shame and heartache.

All the sins of the world was laid on Jesus. He was despised and rejected, and yet He still chose to die on the cross to redeem us. Our unbelief is now the only thing that can separate us from the Savior.

Isaiah 53 is unlike any other chapter of the Bible in that it’s all about salvation. The Lord created us, but in our fallen nature, we needed a Savior. So, God sent His Son Jesus to pay the ultimate price to bring us back to Him.

The Messiah, according to Scripture, doesn’t come as a conqueror of the Romans, but as one who must suffer and die on a cross for our sins. His suffering was to the point of being beaten, even beyond recognition. This kind of passion points to only one man, God’s Son, the Messiah Jesus Christ.

Believers are to always be on guard against evil. The Bible tells us that in the Last Days, many will turn to follow deceptive spirits, and false teachings. But, there is only one true Gospel that is eternal. The one and only Gospel of Jesus Christ.

The Lord knows those of us who hear the Word of God, and have it in our hearts and minds. He leads and guides us like a Shepherd. We are precious to Him, and no one can snatch us out of His hands.

Throughout history, God has, and always will preserve a remnant of His people. This is true for both Israel, in a specific way, and for the church in general. Those who hold to the Word of God and trust in the salvation of Jesus Christ will always endure.

We never know how much time we have left on earth. But, if we have accepted Jesus Christ as our Savior, His salvation is eternal. This is Good News because it means that Jesus is the answer to all of our fears and insecurities about what the future holds for us.
