When we consider the heavens, which are the work of God’s hands, we are to be mindful of Him. And, when life is overwhelming, we can look up towards the moon and the stars, and see His greatness.

There are the three distinct definitions we can use to describe heaven. The “here”, the “up there”, and the “outta here”. The “here” heaven, is the heaven of the here and now, which is our atmosphere. The “up there” heaven is our celestial heaven, or outer space, which is the sun, moon, and the stars. And, the “outta here”, or third heaven, is the dwelling place of God.

How are we to endure in times such as these? The true believer is able to endure because our hope is in Christ coming again for His Church. And, we can be joyful in knowing that God’s plan is our eternal life in heaven with Him.

The doctrine of future events is one of the most controversial doctrines of the Bible. But, God Himself tells of future events all the way back in Genesis. So, from the world’s beginning spoken of in Genesis, through the end times spoken of in the last Book of Revelation, God’s motive is the message of salvation, and eternal life in heaven with Him.

God’s grace rescues us from a life that has held us bound, confused, and insecure for so long. We cannot have a new beginning until we have a final ending to the life that we once lived.
