Salvation cannot come from man. Paul was concerned about the many errors of Legalism. For, the church was slipping into a salvation based on performance, and good works. But, the call to come to Jesus, and our call to ministry is not of human origin, but divine in nature.

“Why does Christ need to come back?” Christ is coming back to earth for a 1000 years to establish and rule with God's way of governing mankind. Christ will return in bodily form to reclaim the earth. And, He will sit on the throne of David to fulfill Bible Prophecy.

Just prior to Christ’s return, there will be terrifying geological events such as great famines and pestilence. There will also be upheaval on a global scale, and the Lord will come with righteous judgement, and intervene in human affairs.

God has put Israel as the timepiece of coming events. For, before Christ returns, He will make her a nation again, along with reuniting the Roman Empire. And, as the world grows darker, there will be a cry for global peace and safety.

During His time on earth, Jesus Christ spoke of the coming great Tribulation Period. And, all those who experience it will weep and mourn, and try to hide from its wrath. And, a global leader will arise who will promise peace, but will usher in the end of the age.

In 1 Thessalonians, the Apostle Paul stresses a hope-filled theme of the Rapture. For, the bodies of those believers who have died will rise up first. Then, we who are alive will meet them in the air, and shall forever be with the Lord.

The Rapture is the hope for the Christian. Unlike the 2nd coming, the Rapture is intended to be a comforting event for those who know Him. And, there is no event that needs to take place before His return. It can happen at any moment.

Angels have a beginning and live forever. Some Angels are called to reveal God to mankind. They foretold the birth of Christ, announced His birth in Bethlehem, and also, strengthened Christ in His hour of need.
