God has promised to love Israel forever. He promises to bless the earth through Israel. Hatred continues to grow towards Israel in the world. But, Israel will not go away. When Christ returns its borders will expand, and God’s full promise to them will be realized.

God is our promise keeper. If God fails to keep the promises He made to Israel, He is not committed to keep His promises to us. God promises to defend Israel in the Last Days, and we can trust Him to protect us from the earth’s judgment.

Deliverance is the hope of every true believer. God is preparing a place for us in Heaven in Him. And, we will be in His care, during the time when the people of Israel are kept hidden from the Lord’s Judgement upon the earth.

Isaiah Chapter 26 opens up with, “In that day”. Three very significant words that place a time-stamp on what is being said. It’s “In that day”, or in a future event when God will restart His purpose for Israel.

True passion for the Lord comes from our time alone with Him, when we long to see Him face to face. But, during the Lord’s return, there will be those who willfully turn their faces away from God. It’s only those who follow Christ that will enter through the gates of Jerusalem.

Jerusalem will be the city of the Great King. Not King David, but Jesus Christ our Lord, will be that King. And, the Lord’s name means Yah, the Self-Existent, Self-Eternal God, who we can trust in and who gives us strength.

God loves Israel and Jerusalem. The existence of Israel today is one of the reasons why there is so much trouble in the world. But, when we learn to discipline our thoughts, the Lord will meet us where we are, and that place will become a safe place with God.

God is not a tyrant. His desire is for us to come to Him. To trust Him with our lives. Our minds are constantly under attack. It’s Satan’s desire to keep us in doubt and turmoil. But, God says we will have perfect peace if our minds are anchored on Him.

God established the first city, but mankind had corrupted God’s plan. They wanted to only live for themselves, and not for God. Like Nimrod from the Book of Genesis. Nimrod was a hunter, but his desire was to build a city tower where he could shoot God down, so he could be the one worshipped and in control.

The title of this message may seem strange, but “31.7°N, 35.2°E” pinpoints the coordinates on the globe, of the city of Jerusalem. When Jesus Christ first came to Jerusalem, it was to sacrifice His life for our salvation. But, during His Second Coming, He will rule and reign from Jerusalem, and bring judgment to the earth.
