The Key to Spiritual Victory - 1C

February 19, 2018

The first key to Spiritual Victory was to “hear”, “do”, and “experience” what the Holy Spirit is saying. The second point is the Christians proof of purchase. And, that is the conflict, and contrast between the flesh and the Spirit.

Daze Of Deception
Jesus warned that deception would grow worse as we draw nearer to the end times, saying, “Take heed that no one deceives you” (Matthew 24:4). Distinguishing truth from error has become increasingly challenging—even in the church. We live in a time when falsehoods assault us from every direction. Packaged with just enough truth to make them appear trustworthy, these counterfeits have grown more and more difficult to detect and avoid. Living in the Daze of Deception explores the many ways error is masquerading as truth—and you’ll learn how you can discern the difference.

Liberty brings us great wealth that money can never buy. We have been bankrupted in our attempt to keep the whole law. So, Jesus stepped in and gave us ultimate freedom by paying the entire debt for us.

It is God’s will for us to keep moving forward in our Christian walk. And, when we are exhausted from the difficulties of life, we are to ask God for His strength. And, He will help to keep us from falling, as we stand firm in the freedom that only Christ can give us.

Do we live the freedom life? True liberty is having Jesus Christ as the Lord of our lives, through His Word, and by the power of the Holy Spirit. And, God will give us the strength to go forward, in spite of our fears.
February 8, 2018
Until we are liberated, we are dead in our sins, and dead in legalism. There is no real life without our freedom in Christ. We can go through the motions of life without really living. But, the believer’s desire is to always move forward.

Abraham’s son Ishmael was born through natural effort. But, Isaac was born through miraculous grace. His birth was an act of God, just as it is for every believer.
February 6, 2018
Every believer has a family tree. So, we need to decide which son of Abraham we are establishing our faith in. Are we bound in the legalism of Ishmael, or are we embracing the path of promise given to Isaac.
