A true Christian church is empowered by the love of Christ, and that love is extended towards others. When it’s all about appearance, a church becomes ugly with its doctrine of convenience, and watered down message. If Christians make up what a church is, we need to ask ourselves what kind of church we’re creating.

There is a simplicity with God. A child’s nature is like the kingdom of Heaven. Precious, innocent and without worry. It’s not in a child’s nature to hold a grudge, to hate, or not to forgive. A child simply responds to the Lord’s caring voice.

Today, Pastor Jack tells us that unlike most adults, children are open to the Lord. They can kill giants, just as David did as a young Shepherd boy. They can speak for God as young Jeremiah the prophet did. And, they can impress kings just like Daniel who listened and obeyed God, even at a young age.

Today, Pastor Jack tells us that since Jesus has authority over the spiritual realm, the physical realm, and over all things, He still rules through love. And, it's through that love that He communicates with us. His sacrifice for our sins is true love in action, in giving, and enduring.

Jesus is the only son of God, and therefore, rules by authority. And yet, He still teaches us by example. When we study Him throughout scripture, we’re in awe of the grace He extends towards us, and the truths of His Word He continues to share with us.

When Jesus’ life is exposed, we see the glory of God to come. And, when we look to Jesus, we are reminded that He is the light of the world. We will not walk in darkness, but have Jesus, the light of life.

Today, Pastor Jack tells us that Peter, looking into Heaven’s glory, had forgotten everything else. It was good in that it tells us that the presence of Jesus is Heaven. But, bad in the sense that Peter forgot there was a hurting and lost world at the foot of the mountain.

Today, Pastor Jack tells us that Peter, James, and John were with Jesus up on the mountain to pray, when they were treated to the greatest light show the world had ever seen. A divine revelation of the glory of Heaven with Jesus standing there praying and exposed in all His glory.
