Removing pride from our lives means casting all our cares upon God. Our troubles and worry often turns into sin. We need to let the Lord handle the burdens we were never meant to carry.

We’re to take a stand against pride. God rejects pride in all forms. When our eyes are only on ourselves, and our issues, we’ve given in to the worst of all sins. Killing pride, however, opens the door to humility, and oneness with other believers.

Christianity is awesome, and it’s radical. It’s never boring if you do it right. Taking a walk on the wild side is following the diving pattern of unity, with the mature Christian humbly setting the example for the younger.

We need to live life big and bold, and in the here and now. Our emotions try to keep us in the valley of pain and sorrow, withdrawing from other believers. But, we must be willing to maintain unity by developing and nurturing one another, as we in turn, follow Christ.

There’s great power in Godly humility. All of us being submissive to one another brings us to a place of Biblical confidence. A mutual exchange of oneness, knowing that it’s not our doing, but God’s doing. It’s God’s will that we yield ourselves for each other's benefit.

Walking with God is to know His will, to be fruitful and fully pleasing to the Lord in all that we do. The greatest thing a Christian is called to do is to share the Gospel with a heart of love, and present ourselves to God as an example of His service.

A love that’s nurtured, is a love ready for service. Ministry happens when we present ourselves for the cause of service. Not for glory or gain, or to rule over others, but as imitators of Christ, who loves us and gave Himself for us.

We need to understand God’s love for us. Love experienced is a love we can share with others. This means to act like a shepherd does. To care, protect, watch out for, and correct God’s people who are living around us and among us.

We as believers, should not be spectators only, but doers of God’s Word. To encourage one another, serving among the people, and pointing our fellow Christians in the right direction.
