Suffering the Will of God - 3A

December 17, 2020

We need to let go of trying to control our lives, and just let God be God. As a believer, there’s the old you, whose past is over, and the new you. And, as a new creation in Christ our greatest passion is to do the will of God that He’s revealed to us in the Bible.

Daze Of Deception
Jesus warned that deception would grow worse as we draw nearer to the end times, saying, “Take heed that no one deceives you” (Matthew 24:4). Distinguishing truth from error has become increasingly challenging—even in the church. We live in a time when falsehoods assault us from every direction. Packaged with just enough truth to make them appear trustworthy, these counterfeits have grown more and more difficult to detect and avoid. Living in the Daze of Deception explores the many ways error is masquerading as truth—and you’ll learn how you can discern the difference.

There’s a real danger today among church goers. Many Christians have little fear of God. They’re unaware that our mindset and attitude determines the outcome. We’re to hate sin enough by arming ourselves with the truth, and by rescuing those who are caught in Satan’s web of sorrow and pain.

Many think they are Christian, and that they’re right in there with God. But, if we’re not following His Son Jesus Christ and have accepted Him in our hearts as our personal Savior, we’re still lost in our sins.

The moment we put our faith in Christ, something amazing happens. Our old life ends and our life in Christ begins. But, when we accept Jesus Christ as our Savior we also willfully respond to his truths, and begin our journey of fellowship with Him.

Jesus Christ did so many amazing things for us. He took our death sentence upon Himself through His death on the cross. He gave us immediate access to Himself through prayer. And through the Bible, He reveals and confirms scripture to us in a whole new way.

Today, like in the days of Noah, sin is running rampant. Demonic powers are robbing us of our strength. But, if we press on and keep sharing the Gospel, God will provide for us a place of rest, even in the middle of Satan’s occupied territory.

In the spirit world, the Bible refers to angels as entities that can physically appear and disappear in and out of our realm of being. They are not your Grandma’s little Cherubims, but capable of supernatural strength.
