We were re-created by God to share the Gospel of His son Jesus Christ. To take on the attributes of God means to become more like Him. And the more we are like Him, the more we are consumed by His love, and want to tell others about it.

We may have justifiable hurts, but not justifiable complaints. The Christian life is about God’s will being done, not ours. When complaining takes control, we become unthankful, unholy and self-led.

When we complain and have disputes against one another, it only embitters our hearts. Instead we are to be enveloped by the presence of God, recognizing that He is in charge, and He knows what He is doing.

The greatest desire of Moses was for God to show him His glory. To grow deeper in our experience with God means to want what He wants. And by getting alone with God to ask Him what He desires to show us, and where He wants to take us.

Jack Hibbs is the founder and senior pastor of Calvary Chapel Chino Hills in Southern California. Jack and his wife, Lisa, began Calvary Chapel Chino Hills as a home Bible study fellowship/church plant from Calvary Chapel Costa Mesa in 1990.

Today, the church ministers weekly to over 14 thousand people on campus and to millions worldwide through the Real LIfe Television and Radio broadcast.
