We must come to Christ, the Son of God, because Christ is the only Son who took our place for us. And, we must believe in Christ, because He was presented to us by God, revealing the will of God, to all of Mankind.

Christ was not only the Son of David, Abraham, Joseph and Mary, through His genealogy. Christ is also the Son of Man, who died and rose again for our salvation. So, we must come to God’s only Son for eternal life, or we will perish in our sins.

The Sonship of Jesus is not less than the Father. When Christ came to earth, He was exclusively both God, and man. So, we must come to the Son of God because Christ was the only son announced to us as the Messiah.

As sinners, we are spiritually hopeless, our conscience is guilty, and we are physically condemned. Therefore, it is only through the power of Christ, and His Gospel that we can lead others to salvation.

Mankind has an internal and often self-proclaimed need to attempt to redeem himself from sin. The desire to be liberated from guilt and shame is so strong that man will stop at nothing to earn what only Christ can give.

Mankind has a need for redemption. Man was not always in a fallen state, but in disobedience towards God, Adam and Eve fell into sin. And, this sinfulness was transmitted to the human race.
