Isaiah speaks of God’s judgement on Ethiopia, which used to be known as Cush, and His judgement on Egypt. But, we in the United States have also departed from God. We have failed to realize just how dependent we are on Him. We can’t forget how God has blessed America more than any other nation in history.

God is by nature, a strong rock that we can rely on. But, when we become full and satisfied with the things of this world, He will begin to strip away those things that divides our affection. The further we drift from God, the more difficult life becomes.

God has given us so much to be thankful for. When we leave God out of our thoughts and actions, we leave God out of our relationships, our liberties, and our time. God has saved us from Hell itself. We need to remember what He has done and what He Has kept us from.

Damascus has been attacked many times throughout history, but never completely destroyed. Israel will survive, but will suffer, while Damascus will become a pile of rubble. But, our greatest threat today is not war. It’s forgetting what God has done for us and lose all hope.

The stage is being set for end time events. The fact that Israel exists as a nation at this hour tells us that the world is moving towards the Last Days when the Lord will sit on His throne to judge those who stand against Him, and the house of Israel.

The nation of Jordan will play a key rule in the last days, as it pertains to Israel. God’s hand is on Israel, and will move other nations according to His will for Israel. That’s why Jordan, formally known as Moab, will not be destroyed because God will use Petra Jordan as Israel’s place of refuge.

In the last days, God will make a new covenant with Israel. This covenant isn’t to the church. We cannot insert the word ‘church’ wherever the Bible says Israel. This kind of replacement Theology will create a false church found in the Book of Revelation, and cause the final wave of the nations to come against Israel.

We, as Christians, need to pray for our nation, and her borders. America’s hope is not in its leaders, but for us to repent and turn from evil. It is only then that God will hear us, and respond with grace and forgiveness.

We all serve someone, or some thing that rules over us. But the nations who come against Israel and mistreat her people, will be severely dealt with. Could God bring judgment on America? God’s people will suffer when their nation goes against Him, or goes against the nation of Israel.
