Laurie Cardoza Moore: Welcome to Proclaiming Justice, a podcast from PJTN that focuses the light of truth on vital issues in today's headlines that impact every American. I'm your host, Laurie Cardoza Moore, founder and president of Proclaiming Justice to the Nations.

I'm here to educate, motivate, and activate you to action. I want to arm you with the truth and the facts you'll need to fight and preserve our constitutional republic and uphold the Judeo-Christian values our nation was founded upon.

Ladies and gentlemen, again, we are back here at the National Religious Broadcasters Convention. This is 2026 and I am honored to have two special guests with us today. I want to share their story and the wonderful work that they are doing and our connection, our biblical connection to Israel.

First, Itai Bronic, who is the CEO of the Israeli Government Heritage Office, and Eyal Freiman, head of archaeology in Judea and Samaria. Gentlemen, welcome to Nashville. Welcome to the National Religious Broadcasters Convention. Is this your first time here?

Itai Bronic: This is not the first time. Last year we were together, too.

Eyal Freiman: But our first time in Nashville.

Laurie Cardoza Moore: Very good. Well, we're glad you're here. So let's talk a little bit about the biblical heritage between the United States and Israel. Proclaiming Justice to the Nations' mission is to educate Christians, connect them biblically to their biblical responsibility to stand with Israel and the Jewish people because there is a shared connection. So tell us about that connection and tell us about your organization and what you do.

Itai Bronic: Before we started, we've brought you a ring from Gerizim Mountain from the Bible. This was found on Gerizim Mountain. It's from before 2,000 years ago.

Laurie Cardoza Moore: This is Gerizim?

Itai Bronic: Gerizim, Mount Gerizim. In the Judea and Samaria area. You can see what the ring is.

Laurie Cardoza Moore: Wow. What do you see here?

Eyal Freiman: Here it's written in Hebrew, "Free Palestine."

Itai Bronic: No, no, no. Of course, the history of Israel and the Jewish history.

Eyal Freiman: But it's from the first century BC and it says Yud-Hey-Vav-Hey Echad, that God is one, in Hebrew.

Laurie Cardoza Moore: Oh my God.

Itai Bronic: This is from before 2,000 years ago, after the first temple was destroyed. And we found this on Gerizim Mountain. Eyal will tell you about all the things that we find in Judea and Samaria. The historical site of the Bible, thousands of historical sites, Sebastia and a lot of sites.

Eyal Freiman: Right. And now we are already excavating it.

Itai Bronic: You can put it on your hand.

Laurie Cardoza Moore: For me?

Eyal Freiman: Does it fit?

Laurie Cardoza Moore: It fits perfect. I belong. Look at that.

Eyal Freiman: Now maybe you're related to the ancient priest that was there.

Laurie Cardoza Moore: I must be. So we were last September, we were filming an interview with Daniella Weiss up in Samaria.

Eyal Freiman: She's our friend.

Laurie Cardoza Moore: She's your friend. Well, then you're my friend because she's my friend.

Itai Bronic: Now a very special friend.

Laurie Cardoza Moore: Now a very special friend. That's right. Oh, so glad you came. Yeah, it's an amazing story. So this is from the Mount of Blessing. This is where they found this.

Eyal Freiman: Exactly.

Laurie Cardoza Moore: So what dig were they doing?

Eyal Freiman: This was an excavation 30 years ago, in the '90s, held by Yitzhak Magen and the archaeology staff officer of Judea and Samaria. We found it and it dated to the first century BC.

So it dated to the time when Alexander Yannai conquered back Samaria from the Samaritan people and Jewish the whole area again and built basically the second kingdom of Israel, the second one, only Herod and Solomon exceeded it in size and benefit.

So it's pretty exciting. It's one of the most ancient Hanukkah that we have with God's name written because we know from the Bible, but the Bible is a copy of the Bible, of the copy and copy. You never know the origin. So we have the Dead Sea Scrolls where we find it and we have this from the same time, approximately. It gives us such a strong hold on the ground when you find it and you know that you can read it because it's in Hebrew, the same Hebrew that you read today.

Laurie Cardoza Moore: The same Hebrew you're reading today. Yes, ladies and gentlemen, see, it's got the Hebrew letters and this goes back thousands, a couple thousand years.

Itai Bronic: This is from my grandmother, then my grandmother, then my grandmother, then my grandmother. And after the temple was destroyed, she stopped this and now we found this.

Laurie Cardoza Moore: So when they say that the Palestinians were there?

Itai Bronic: No, no Palestinians.

Laurie Cardoza Moore: There were no Palestinians.

Eyal Freiman: That was even from the time before the Romans called this area Palestina.

Laurie Cardoza Moore: That's right. This is prior to that.

Itai Bronic: This is one of the proofs that we bring you, but we have thousands of things that we found in Judea and Samaria and in all over Israel, historical sites from the Bible.

Laurie Cardoza Moore: That's amazing. So tell us, what digs are you doing right now? What's your most recent project?

Eyal Freiman: Right now we're doing two major projects on Hasmonean castles in the desert, the border line of the Hasmoneans. It's actually the people that came, everybody knows Hanukkah. Hanukkah is the story of Judah Maccabee that was against the Greeks. But nobody tells the story after that.

After his rebellion, they formed the Jewish kingdom again and they called it Hasmonean, the dynasty. And they built a lot all over Israel, Judea and Samaria and even in what today is Jordan. So now we're excavating those fortresses and it's really what we find. It's never been excavated because nobody cared so much about that time.

People look also at the biblical time, but also this time, the second kingdom of Israel. And they rely on the Bible as we know it. And right now we're also excavating in Sebastia, which is the ancient Samaria, the palaces of Omri and Ahab, the kings of the kingdom of Israel after the separation between Judea and Israel. And after a hundred years where nobody excavated there, right now we're excavating.

We want to open it to the public and let people come and see and feel for themselves because archaeology is the physical evidence of history. So when you touch it, when you touch the ring, you touch history. Right now, this is something closing up the gap of 2,000 years physically and you can touch it and arrive at it. Right now we're excavating Sebastia as well. We're excavating in ancient Hebron, the main Hebron where David was the united kingdom. We want to excavate Tel Ziph.

Tel Ziph is a beautiful site. If you go there now, it's a little top of a mountain and you see nothing. There's some excavation being done there as 20 years ago, but you see nothing in the horizons. You see Hebron, you see Ma'on, you see a lot of villages mentioned in the Bible. And that was the place where David was formed as a king, twice.

It's mentioned in the Bible where he met Jonathan, the son of Saul. And Jonathan, he was the king to be, and David was a king to be, one by the dynasty of Saul and one Samuel gave him the kingdom. And then Jonathan came to him and told him, "No, my friend, you are my brother. I want you to be the king. God chose you. I'm not going to fight you." And such a strength of a leader to say, "It's not my turn to lead, it's your turn to lead."

And it was just David and Jonathan, nobody around. And the second time was after Saul started to persecute David because he didn't want him to be king. And he ran to the desert of Judea and hid in there. And then in the middle of the night on Tel Ziph itself, so Saul went to sleep and David came to the camp. He was over the sleeping king. He could end everything right there. And he decided, no, sometimes you don't need to kill to gain. And that where he formed his kingdom and the way he's going to rule. And it's a beautiful place and it's not excavated yet, so we're going to excavate there so we can see it all. The story is beautiful, but we need to see the stone.

Eyal Freiman: And so we started a huge project, also a project of the visiting sites and knowing the heritage better. It's all back from the Ministry of Heritage. They help and they push forward the funding for us. And we took 150 sites, only in Judea and Samaria, and we're now making them open to the public with trails, explanation marks, signs, everything, so people will have this knowledge. Because right now we don't have this knowledge and with the academic boycott on Judea and Samaria, this knowledge is going to be lost.

Laurie Cardoza Moore: So I love that you brought up the academic boycott because we're seeing something similar in academia, mostly in K-through-12 education. We know it's happening in the universities, but in K-through-12 education, it's the propaganda or the lack of historical information that they include in history books during these time periods that you just talked about.

David has become quite popular within the Christian world as of late. There's been several movies that have been made about him. So this is with the media, the movies broadcasting these shows and with you all connecting people to this point, this part of history of King David and Saul and Jonathan. This is a perfect time to get your message out and get people to start listening because a lot of people are following these films about David, which is amazing.

Itai Bronic: But we start in the connection from Christians to Israel to the Bible, to bring them to Judea and Samaria, to see the things. And we need to fight the academic boycott together. We need to be fighting together. And here in the NRB, we have a lot of people that can help to us to fight in this.

Laurie Cardoza Moore: Communication, media is key to defeating the lies and the disinformation. And that's why PJTN is here. It's why we produce the documentary films and television programs that we do, to try to make the Bible come to life because a lot of people don't read the Bible, unfortunately. And until they see, so if we can visually create the story, tell them the story, it'll hook people in. So Itai, tell me about your favorite project that you're working on right now.

Itai Bronic: Now we're working in the Gaza envelope.

Laurie Cardoza Moore: In Gaza?

Itai Bronic: Gaza envelope. To write the story of the heroes of 7 October. A lot of stories. We bring 1,600 cars to the car site. People from all over the world come to see what happened in 7 October. I think 3,000 every day, 3,000 people come every day to see Sderot, to the police station that was destroyed.

And they see and they see what the Hamas did to us. And now we start to plan a big museum in the car site that people from all over the world come to see what happened to us. If we don't do something in the Hamas and in all the Arabs that want to destroy Israel, what will happen in the future? And now in all over the world, people forget what happened in 7 October.

Laurie Cardoza Moore: That's right. We can't let that happen.

Itai Bronic: No, we must not.

Eyal Freiman: And it's exactly the same with the academic boycott on Judea and Samaria archaeology and on October 7th. If we're not going to memorize it, make it available to people so they can see it, so they can hear about it, so they can know about it and be curious about it, ask questions about it, it would be forgotten. It's just the same. It's the same battle, a few years gap, but it's the same battle over and over again.

Laurie Cardoza Moore: Right, absolutely. Is there anything, any final words or comments, information that you want to share with our audience?

Itai Bronic: We want that people come back to Israel. Before the corona, millions of people came to Israel every year. And now in the five years ago was the corona, was the war. And we want now after the war finishes, that people come back to Israel and go to Judea and Samaria, and go to the Gaza envelope to see things, and go to Jerusalem, go to all the sites, historical sites in Israel. Because we want the connection from the people here to Israel. We need this connection.

Laurie Cardoza Moore: Absolutely.

Eyal Freiman: Also, we want to invite people to inspire, to come and learn more about Judea and Samaria, about archaeology, about the history not only of the Jewish people, but the history of the Christian people as well. It's all connected. To study and to learn and to come and hear more about it. And to come to Israel, come to Judea and Samaria. You're not going to miss it out of Israel and see everything that's going on.

Laurie Cardoza Moore: Absolutely. So ladies and gentlemen, you've heard from Itai and Eyal and this is so important that we stand with our Jewish brethren, not just here in our country, but actually in the land. And as many of you who have seen our documentary *Israel Indivisible: The Case for the Ancient Homeland*, we show you that historically, archaeologically, legally, and biblically, Israel has rights to her ancient homeland.

These gentlemen and their organization are digging up out of the dirt remnants of history that you cannot argue with. But not only do we stand with our Jewish brethren here, we need to go to Israel. We need to get back on the plane. We need to travel there because remember, this is the land of Israel's inheritance.

It's the land where God said he would write his name in the city of Jerusalem. God put his name, wrote his name in that city. And these archaeological digs that these gentlemen are involved in and preserving tell the truth of Israel's connection to the land. It tells the truth about Christians' connection to the land and the people of Israel as well.

Itai Bronic: But you need to bring me the ring because the ring is historical. I need it, it's not for you. I know that you love the ring, but I need the ring.

Laurie Cardoza Moore: I love the ring. It fits me perfect.

Itai Bronic: I have a number on the ring and I need it because this is historical antiquity. I need to take this to Israel. People all over the world need to come to Israel to see the historical site. And I'm very glad that you spoke with us. And together, we do this together. We bring the people to Israel.

Laurie Cardoza Moore: Absolutely. We will do what we can. We will encourage our supporters to join us in Israel. And God willing, I'm going to be there. We're going to try to do a tour again this summer.
