Dr. Matthew Harper: JD Vance did not distance himself from Tucker Carlson, neither has President Trump seriously distanced himself from him. I would point out what I call the Christian hypocrisy. These people, Tucker Carlson, Megan Kelly, Candace Owens, or Nick Fuentes, all claim to be Christian. I think what a joke, what hypocrisy.
I would like to see the White House call them out on this issue of their hypocrisy because it's not Christian to be treating Israel this way, to refer to Israel as an illegal occupier, or support church replacement theology. Replacement theology is the issue where the Christian church replaces Israel, so Israel is not relevant anymore.
Laurie Cardoza Moore: Welcome to Proclaiming Justice, a PJTN podcast that focuses the light of truth on vital issues in today's headlines that impact every American. I'm your host, Laurie Cardoza Moore, founder and president of Proclaiming Justice to the Nations, and I'm here to educate, motivate, and activate you to action.
I want to arm you with the truth and the facts you'll need to fight and preserve our constitutional republic and uphold the Judeo-Christian values our nation was founded upon. Welcome back to Proclaiming Justice. On today's podcast, we've invited Dr. Matthew Harper to discuss his insight as the lead White House correspondent.
We are also going to discuss the US-Israel war with Iran and more on today's podcast. Dr. Matthew, welcome to Proclaiming Justice.
Dr. Matthew Harper: It's great to join you, Laurie, today.
I started out in 2011 during the Obama administration. An Israeli news reporter made me aware of a serious problem with US tax dollars going into a UN agency called UNRWA. People have heard about UNRWA and their ties to Hamas. I had a great opportunity during the first week of the Trump administration to bring this issue up.
I did bring it up during the Obama administration, but of course didn't get much of a response because Obama himself is anti-semitic. I had this opportunity near the front row of the Trump administration press meetings, the James Brady Press Room. All these names are reserved by mainstream media, and I don't have a mainstream media seat.
I saw an empty seat on the third row in prime view of the Press Secretary, Sean Spicer. So I sat there, and another reporter from CNN was trying to talk me out of sitting there. Thank God the other reporter did not show up because I had an opportunity to expose UNRWA.
I became the chief whistleblower on UNRWA, which led to an investigation and then President Trump defunded UNRWA as a result of my questions and this investigation I helped my US Senator get involved in. That senator is James Risch. He's a key congressman that is combating anti-semitism, and he's helped me on numerous occasions.
Laurie Cardoza Moore: Fantastic. So how did you get this position? We watch the news daily from the press room and we see the numerous media personalities that are there covering the news. It sounds pretty lively at times where everybody is vying to get their question answered. How does one become a White House correspondent?
Dr. Matthew Harper: Thankfully, Senator James Risch's press person told me how to get in touch with the press office. Simply, you have to present credentials from a legitimate news organization, although I really question whether the people on the front row like CBS and CNN are really legitimate. Somehow their money buys influence to be on the front row.
It's very troublesome, but this is how you get in. Currently, there's a serious problem with too many wanna-be journalists or podcasters. The James Brady Press Room is flooded, and it created a problem for the press secretary. Now for the first time, I can't go up to her office because she created a problem with inviting all these new wanna-be people and then you wonder why she's having such a problem.
She cuts off access to me and other good media people. It's very disturbing that they have all this reserved seating. It should be a first-come, first-serve, but it's really a pay-to-play type situation. It's very expensive to be there, so I can't be there as often as I really need to be there because of the expense.
There is also a serious issue of not having enough YouTube followers. The White House pays attention to large numbers of followers, such as Joe Rogan. President Trump went onto the Joe Rogan program because he had many millions of followers that would listen to his platform and vote for him. What needs to happen, as I see it, is I need to get millions of followers to lead the way in exposing anti-semitism.
Laurie Cardoza Moore: Absolutely. We want to encourage our audience, and we're going to tell people as we wrap up today's interview how they can get involved and help you. As you mentioned, one of the key issues that you always address is the rise of anti-semitism and these shadow characters like UNRWA and other organizations that are peddling propaganda that's inciting anti-semitism.
What is the environment in the press room as it pertains to anti-semitism? We're seeing a growing number of Christian influencers who profess to be Christian, like Tucker and Candace and Nick Fuentes. We see that group of individuals on the rise. How is that influencing the administration's position on combating anti-semitism in the United States, even in the media? Media reaches millions of people whether it be here in the United States or around the globe.
Dr. Matthew Harper: It is very troublesome to mention Tucker Carlson because JD Vance did not distance himself from Tucker Carlson, neither has President Trump seriously distanced himself from him. I would call it the Christian hypocrisy. These people like Tucker Carlson, Megan Kelly, Candace Owens, or Nick Fuentes, they all claim to be Christian and I think what a joke, what hypocrisy.
I would like to see the White House call them out on this issue of their hypocrisy because it's not Christian to be treating Israel this way, to refer to Israel as an illegal occupier, or support church replacement theology. For those that haven't heard that term, it is the issue where the Christian church replaces Israel and that Israel is not relevant anymore.
Troublesome that Kirk Cameron has been supporting that recently in one of his podcasts. I'm very upset about this issue. I would say that President Trump and Vice President JD Vance are too afraid to offend anyone to go against Tucker Carlson's followers, Megan Kelly's followers, or maybe even Candace Owens' followers. It's really upsetting.
Laurie Cardoza Moore: Absolutely. We're going to tell people as we wrap up today's interview how they can get involved and help you. I just want to make a statement because President Trump has made it very clear that a lot of the media that have covered him are biased, and he condemns those media outlets.
However, we've got a problem with media correspondents who show up at the press room who are able to be in their position and have the best seats in the house because of the amount of money or the amount of followers that they have. I understand why they want to have a bunch of followers following them and covering their story so the truth gets out.
If you're not inviting qualified individuals, the truth doesn't get out. Tucker Carlson is not qualified. He's biased in his approach. He has lied about Israel in his reporting. He's falsely accused Israel of intentionally killing Christians in Gaza, which is not true. He has interviewed supposed pastors at Christ at the Checkpoint, like Munther Isaac, and allowed them to go unchallenged when they said that Israel is occupying Palestinian land.
I think part of the problem with a lot of these podcasters that have come on the scene and now have this prestigious placement in the White House press room is they're biblically illiterate. All of them are Christian, most of them are Christian, so they're biblically illiterate and they're historically illiterate.
We're going to legitimize these people and give them the status as a correspondent at the White House. We're going to give them legitimate status when they're doing the same thing that the mainstream press has done to President Trump and with it going unchallenged. What are your thoughts with regards to the president after what Tucker Carlson said just yesterday condemning Trump and this attack against Iran? I would be shocked if President Trump would allow him back into the press room or allow him back into the Oval Office.
Dr. Matthew Harper: It is very troublesome. I believe it's related to a concern, maybe anxiety or fear, that alienating Tucker Carlson's followers would impact presidential elections next time around or congressional elections. This is a serious problem. I'm surrounded by anti-semitic reporters. There are many Arab reporters there.
I've been bullied because of my reporting there. How many people are willing to be bullied there? I go there at great expense and then I get bullied often. It's troublesome that President Trump needs to pay attention to our voice. I'm the most outspoken about Israel, more than anyone, exposing anti-semitism.
My questions might make them nervous at times, specifically as it relates to pointing out Israel's sovereignty over Judea and Samaria. I was called upon by the press secretary to ask a question about Israel's sovereignty over that West Bank area, which really is Judea and Samaria. She said you're getting ahead of yourself, Dr. Harper. I'm not really ahead of myself, they're behind the issue. Christian leaders called them out and asked them to strongly support Israel's sovereignty over Judea and Samaria, but they won't do it.
Laurie Cardoza Moore: Unfortunately, this is the reality. Nobody wants to get in over their head and take a stand. I appreciate what President Trump is doing right now with this war that the US and Israel are collaborating on against Iran, this state sponsor, this global sponsor of anti-semitic incidents but of terrorism.
Dr. Matthew Harper: It is so serious. I just saw a video clip that was kind of funny but yet so stupid. The Iranian foreign minister is saying to the world, I don't know why the US would want to attack us when we're making progress.
Laurie Cardoza Moore: I think the Iranian leadership knows that the bulk of global media does not like President Trump and is against attacking Iran. You see it with countries like Qatar, who also have to sit back or stand back and be silent right now. We have a major problem with the mainstream press globally who support these regimes.
Christiane Amanpour, being an Iranian, you would think that she would cover the news coming out of Iran and be sympathetic to the people. But she seems to be far from sympathetic to the outcry of the people in the streets. I heard 30,000 to 40,000 people were murdered by this regime.
Where is she reporting on this issue on behalf of her people? She's a paid shill by the Iranian government. People have to wake up and realize media is so critically important to our decision making. If we're not getting accurate information, we're getting biased perspectives about the events that are happening around the world, especially what's going on in Iran.
We're already hearing the negative that Israel twisted Trump's arm to go to war against Iran. No, Iran is a threat to all of us. We had previous administrations like Obama and Biden who turned the other cheek and looked the other way while we were dropping pallets of billions of dollars from the skies raining down on Iran. It is an outrage to the American taxpayer that we would have government leadership who would actually engage in being funders of terrorism and anti-semitism.
Dr. Matthew Harper: It is so troublesome, Laurie. I was going to comment that we do have Tucker Carlson, who has been influenced by Qatar. We have his influence there, and as you mentioned, this Amanpour person is really a propagandist. I see all these people as propagandists.
The big question I have for President Trump is why don't you give opportunity for the good media that speaks up for Israel and that is leading the way regarding Christian concerns? I would also say that I'm the lead reporter on human rights issues, whether it's Christian persecution, international sex trafficking, the Uyghurs in the Chinese internment camps, and infanticide. Why doesn't the White House want to give me a voice? Why am I silenced? I'm very upset.
Laurie Cardoza Moore: As we're closing up this interview, I'd love for you to share anything else you want to share with our audience, but I'd also like for you to share with them how they can help you, how they can follow your work, and get involved.
Dr. Matthew Harper: I want to invite people to check out our YouTube channel. The name of it is Intermountain Christian News. We have a website, imcnews.org. Go on our YouTube channel where you can subscribe and invite all your friends to subscribe as well. Once we get up to over the 5 million mark of followers, the White House will pay more attention. I'm convinced of that.
Laurie Cardoza Moore: Absolutely. We appreciate you being there and representing us and our support of Israel, our support of Christians in Nigeria, and our support with the Iranian people that they can finally once and for all be free.
Dr. Matthew Harper: That they can be free. I wanted to mention really quickly that Prime Minister Netanyahu I was introduced to because of my White House questions on UNRWA. I have an interview with the Prime Minister's brother, Dr. Ido Netanyahu. You can see that on our YouTube channel. I appreciate people praying for me. It's not easy. I face much adversity with the hostile media, and God willing, we'll have millions of followers and they'll pay attention to these important questions.
Laurie Cardoza Moore: Amen. Dr. Harper, we so appreciate you taking the time to be with us today on Proclaiming Justice. We wish you blessings on all the work that you do. Thank you for what you're doing, and God should answer your prayer and bring you the millions of listeners in order to get you on the front row of that room. God bless you.
Dr. Matthew Harper: Thank you. I wanted to say how much I appreciate President Trump in his support of Israel. Despite the problems that I'm having with access and asking questions, I so appreciate President Trump for being strong on the border and helping Israel and helping children. He's a very wonderful president.
Laurie Cardoza Moore: Amen. We are grateful for his leadership, especially as we watch him in action over there in Iran with the Prime Minister of Israel, Bibi Netanyahu. God bless you, sir. Ladies and gentlemen, I hope you found this program informative. We're going to post this podcast on our website and all of our podcast platforms so that you can share with your family and friends.
