Guest (Female): We were confused and it kind of turned to anger.

Guest (Male): I was raised Hindu.

Guest (Female): Excited as I was, I almost pushed them away.

Guest (Female): You have to believe in Him.

Guest (Female): She started going to church.

Guest (Female): We'd have to go with her. Every time we'd get in the car, there'd be a fight.

Guest (Female): I had a confrontation with my daughter.

Guest (Female): She'd go in front of the idols.

Guest (Male): I didn't know if my daughter was going to come back or not.

Guest (Female): Why are you just being different from our entire family?

Guest (Female): God called me on the carpet.

Guest (Female): Do you trust me with your children?

Guest (Female): I felt such joy and such peace, like I was a child. I was rejoicing and they were trying to tell me, okay, well now you should read this verse, and now you should do this, and you must rebuke the devil. I was like, oh, you can rebuke the devil. And I'm starting like a little baby, just trying to learn all these new things.

Guest (Female): I did go to my kids and I was like, oh, I met Jesus.

Guest (Male): I was raised Hindu.

Guest (Female): We had a picture of Krishna and then a few ceramic figures of some of the other gods. Just like my mom had taught me to have like a temple in the home, have the idols. I did the same thing.

Guest (Female): It's crazy to think that just as my mom, when she bought me home from the hospital, she presented me to the idols. And she said, look after my daughter. Little did she know she was presenting me to demons.

Guest (Female): Now, I did the same thing.

Guest (Female): I did the same thing.

Guest (Female): Because I didn't understand that was wrong. I was still living, I was still living in the world of rituals that I'd been taught as a Hindu.

Guest (Female): As I was raising my children, they'd see me in front of the temple daily. Having said that, I never fully understood my religion.

Guest (Female): I knew some of the rituals, I knew what to do in front of the temple, but I never studied the scriptures. Every self-help book or every sort of course or whatever, I was like, is the truth here? Is the truth here? What is this? I'm looking for this truth.

Guest (Female 2): She tried out Scientology and she tried out some these multi-level marketing things.

Guest (Female): I did the palmistry, I did astrology, I did Scientology, Eckhart Tolle, and Oprah.

Guest (Female 2): So when she started doing Christianity, it was kind of like the same thing. Like, oh, this is just another thing that she's trying out for a while. We were like, you know, maybe, you know, it'll be over in six months, but then she stuck with it.

Guest (Female 2): We were confused and it kind of turned to anger.

Guest (Male): When she converted to Christianity, it was definitely a bit shocking because to me at that point, I couldn't really make heads or tails of what was happening. She didn't seem different personality-wise, more just in what she was doing, which was, I mean, you could see her praying more and just doing different things. And to me, it wasn't alarming necessarily, but just a bit just different.

Guest (Female 2): She started going to church. She can't leave us at home. So, anywhere she went, we'd have to go with her.

Guest (Female 2): So we became very annoyed because we were like, oh, we just want to stay at home and watch TV and now we have to go to this, we have to go see get baptized. And then she started like trying to tell us all the stories and trying to be like, oh, no, it's actually a really good thing. We were kind of angry about it at first because it was just really confusing.

Guest (Female 2): When you were trying to sell makeup or something, you weren't trying to get us to sell makeup with you. But she was trying to get us to do it and we were like, why would we do this? Like our entire family is different. Like, why are you just being different from our entire family?

Guest (Female 2): Every time we'd get in the car, there'd be a fight because she would start talking about it. And my oldest sister is very opinionated, so then my older sister would get in a fight with her and my little brother and I would just be like, can they stop fighting?

Guest (Female): I was telling them about Jesus and then I was trying to get rid of the idols. Obviously that was quite a fuss with my oldest.

Guest (Female): Trying to now go through the sanctification process, right? So I'm still in the middle of that. I'm understanding, I'm trying to get rid of the old and getting into the new. It was about three years into me being saved, the idols were still sitting there, can you believe it? In the corner over there. And the only reason they were there is because my oldest daughter had now started to do what I was like.

Guest (Female): She'd go in front of the idols. She was the only one that did.

Guest (Female): I knew they were wrong, but it was so hard to get them out of the house because she was attached to them.

Guest (Female): I had a confrontation with my daughter.

Guest (Female): There came a day, I said, I got to get rid of them. I'm sorry. They can no longer stay in my house.

Guest (Female): My daughter said if they stay then I'm going to leave. She's, I'm going to go stay with daddy.

Guest (Female): I prayed, I prayed, I can't have these in my home. These are, how can I justify my daughter's being in front of the idols and now that I fully understand, these are demons. I was like, I can't allow this.

Guest (Female): I went to the Lord and I said, okay, if it means that my daughter leaves me and goes to her dad, I have to, I have to, I have to deal with it.

Guest (Male): I didn't know if my daughter was going to come back or not.

Guest (Female): I had to have the faith that day with my daughter that I was doing the right thing. I had to. I had to do it. There was no choice and I had to choose God. You went over my own daughter. And low and behold, a couple hours later, she was back home.

Guest (Female): So, sometimes with God you have to have that faith.

Guest (Female): And you think it'd be so easy to just give your children to God because he's obviously much better. He's the best. But it was hard. It was so hard and I realized that excited as I was and as desperate as I was. I was desperate because I want my babies in heaven. I almost pushed them away.

Guest (Female): I was trying to say you have to believe in Him. It was almost like I was trying to force it on them. And then God called me on the carpet and he said to me, do you trust me?

Guest (Female): And I said, God, yes, I do trust you. But he said, do you trust me with your children?

Guest (Female): Okay. Okay. You have them. And then, you know, wisdom started to kick in.

Guest (Female 2): After we went to college, our mom no longer was just like, you should do this. She explained why she was doing it. It was just a lot more conversation rather than, you know, pressuring, telling somebody to do. She would, you know, tell us her experience and she would try to have a conversation with us and if one of us asked a question or maybe refuted or tried to refute a point, she wouldn't get upset.

Guest (Female 2): She would just try to either refute the point back or talk about, okay, that's a good point. Maybe we can do some research on that or something like that. And that made us a lot more willing to listen to her side of things. We weren't angry anymore. We were just like, okay, this is good for her. Like, we're happy that she's happy because this is what this has helped her.

Guest (Male): That definitely affects so many of the things that she does in her daily life. Just whatever morals and beliefs she has stemming from Christianity, it definitely impacts the way she acts to us and to other people.

Guest (Female 2): When she got baptized, she gave a speech, she cried during the speech. And I've seen my mom cry before, but she doesn't usually cry for no reason. And I was like, oh, this is actually very, very important to her.

Guest (Female 2): That's when I was like, oh, this is different than some of the other things that she's become involved with. And since she's become a Christian, she hasn't gotten involved with any of those other things that we didn't like.

Guest (Female 2): It's beneficial to her life and our lives because the way that she acts and the way that just the way that she is is is happier.

Guest (Male): You can see she's changed. She's very devout to Christianity. She prays at least every morning, every night, every day.

Guest (Male): I don't think they see it as a bad thing though. But I do think that the way she treats people is it's good. Like she treats them with kindness and like with respect. And if that is obviously stemming from Christianity, then I would consider it a good thing. Yes.

Guest (Female): I've been saved for almost four years and the enemy has come after me double time. All those demons from the occult, from the palmistry, from my bloodline, through any sin I had committed, they were all there having a party in my body, in my soul. They are so evil. They don't care.

Guest (Female): They don't care. They don't care if you're dead on the floor. That's what they prefer. God put me in touch with this person called Pamela. That was another orchestration. And she started talking to me about deliverance. I had no idea what deliverance was. So I got my deliverance. Then the torment stopped.

Guest (Female): The torment stopped, which was miraculous. It's a real thing out there in the spiritual realm. It's it's real. I know I have the authority in Jesus Christ. Not by my authority, but the power by the name of Jesus and the power of the Holy Spirit. I have that. You got to go to war. It's it's a daily battle. I get it. But you get stronger and stronger.

Guest (Female): Slowly and surely I'll teach my babies. They're not quite ready for all this. They don't know all this knowledge and stuff. So I pray with authority. And I say, Satan, you cannot have my children. I go to war. You have to.

Guest (Female): And so I don't go in desperation, I don't push my kids. But you know what I do do? I tell them stories all the time.

Guest (Female): I said, hey, do you know King David was? Then I tell them to watch their words, especially my son. I was like, watch your words. I said, you know, power is, power of life and death is in the tongue. So I'm always saying stuff and quoting Proverbs, whatever I do know. I I just kind of share and I share in stories.

Guest (Female 2): My family is very, very important to me. And sometimes like when I'm sitting with my family or even when I'm at college and I'm just thinking about my family, I'm like, God gave this family to me. Like I feel it so strongly. Like I'm so blessed. And like I know that it's not just coincidence. Like I know that God gave me this family.

Guest (Female 2): And then I feel like, I feel very grateful for what I have. And I feel that that's what I like, that's the closest I feel to God when I'm thinking about my family.

Guest (Male): I do believe that there is some supernatural power that obviously created us, created humanity. But I'll pray pretty much every night, just in general to give thanks because I have so much to be grateful for.

Guest (Female 2): Seeing my mom and seeing like what she's gotten out of her life, as well as me thinking what I want out of my life, I've started going to church, so I'm exploring that right now.

Guest (Female): Whether you choose to believe or not to believe, that is definitely your choice, but I am telling you today as night is day that Jesus is real. He's real as the back of your hand.

Guest (Female): And if everything in the world, you have all the money in the world, you're the most beautiful, you can be the most whatever, I don't care whatever you are, but you will not have peace without Jesus.

Guest (Female): And I'm just grateful I found him because I can't imagine my life not having him in and the blessing, the peace that I have. I encourage you that you you follow this path because I want you in heaven with me.

Guest (Female 2): I'm doing engineering right now in college and he's doing engineering classes in school. So sometimes we like to build things together, which is a lot of fun.

Guest (Male): Well, right now, I'm planning to go into mechanical engineering.

Guest (Female 2): I'm not entirely sure what exact path I want to go down at the moment, but I'm thinking something to do with manufacturing. I think it would be really interesting to work on animatronics as well.
