You Can Truly Know God
The word "baptize" means to dip or drench. So the Christian life is all about being drenched in the Father, plunged into the Son, and soaked in the Spirit.
Guest (Male): Open the Bible with Colin Smith.
Colin Smith: Jesus said to his disciples, "Go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit." Now the word baptize literally means to dip or to drench. So the Christian life is all about being drenched in the Father, plunged in the Son, and soaked in the Spirit. The Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit permeate every part of a believer's life.
Now, we can't fully comprehend the nature of God, but God has revealed that he is Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. We come to know the Father through the Son, and we are led to the Son by the work of the Holy Spirit.
Guest (Male): Are you open to learning the Bible story? Well then come to openthebible.org.
