The Trinity
There are very important things to know about God’s Nature. Three of those things are: There is one God, He exists in three persons, and each person in the Trinity is truly God.
Guest (Male): Open the Bible with Colin Smith.
Colin Smith: The Bible tells us that there is one God: "Hear, O Israel: the Lord our God, the Lord is one." This one God exists in three persons, and the distinct identities of the Father, Son, and Spirit are clear in the New Testament.
The Father sends the Son, the Son prays to the Father, the Spirit glorifies the Son, and the Son sends the Spirit. There is one God, and he exists in three persons, and each person is fully God.
The Father is God, the Son is God, and the Spirit is God. But there are not three gods; there is one eternal God. He is Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, and he wants you to know him.
