Broken Dreams
The prophet Ezekiel was a man who had many hopes and dreams just like us. But his dreams were shattered. Where do we turn when that happens to us?
Guest (Male): Open the Bible with Colin Smith.
Colin Smith: Ezekiel had spent years preparing for ministry in the temple of God. But war broke out in the middle of his training and he was carted off to a foreign land. Now what can a priest do if he is hundreds of miles away from the temple? Ezekiel was a man with crushed hopes and shattered dreams. Circumstances seemed to have blocked his path to ministry and he found himself among a group of confused and discouraged people in a backwater near Babylon.
Perhaps you can relate to Ezekiel. You had high hopes and big dreams, and you never imagined that you'd be where you are today. Ezekiel wasn't where he wanted to be, but God used him where he was, and this same God can do the same for you.
