Hope in Christ
Satan always tries to confuse Christians about their position before God. But if you have the Holy Spirit living inside of you, you can be secure and have assurance of salvation.

Colin Smith: God's word tells us to put to death the misdeeds of the body by the power of the Holy Spirit. So start an intentional battle against the sins that remain in you. The spirit of God is within you and Christ has put you in a position to fight and to win. Now can you identify specific sins on which you're launching an intentional assault at this point in your life? Have you formed a strategy for change knowing that the power of the spirit has been given to make this possible for you? Remember that the enemy will try to confuse you about your position in Christ.
Many of his greatest successes come from propaganda. So remember if you are in Christ, the Holy Spirit lives in you. God has put you in a position to fight and you're not alone in the battle.
