Christ Is the Fulfillment of the Promises
Jesus Christ came to fulfill all of the promises that were delivered by the Old Testament Prophets. In Him, every promise is “Yes” and “Amen.”
Colin Smith: Open the Bible with Colin Smith. The gospels were written so that you may believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God, and that by believing, you may have life in His name.
Now, the title Christ means Messiah or Anointed One. In the Old Testament, God anointed prophets, priests, and kings, and they pointed forward to one who would do what they could only illustrate.
Jesus is the Christ. And the centerpiece of history is that God took human flesh in the person of Jesus and through Him, all the promises of God are fulfilled.
The life, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ is the greatest good news this world has ever heard. There's good news for you in Jesus today. Are you open to learning the Bible story? Well then, come to openthebible.org.
