The 8th front. Who is behind the curtain? | Pod for Israel
Israel faces war on 7 fronts today, while American and Israeli forces dominate the battlefield, on the 8th front we're losing the fight. Join Dr. Erez Soref, former Mossad Commander Sagiv Asulin, and senior Intelligence expert Lt. Colonel (Ret.) Marco Moreno to discuss what is driving this 8th front of war.

Dr. Erez Soref: Shalom friends, and welcome to another Pod for Israel. I was just finished reading the book of Deuteronomy today, and in Deuteronomy, God says to Moses that He is sending the children of Israel to the land to possess seven nations. I thought about that because for the past two and a half years, there's been a lot of talk in Israel that we are fighting seven different frontiers. What does that mean and what is the eighth frontier?
I am so privileged to have today two senior experts that are both from the Israeli security system. Shalom Marco, shalom Sagiv. So good to be together and thank you for coming.
Guest Marco: So we've been talking a lot about seven frontiers, but now there is something that we call the eighth frontier. It's an initiative beyond just a reality. Let's talk a little bit about that. On October 7th, 6:29 AM, Hamas launched the first front, which led to the seven fronts that you just mentioned.
What we forgot is the eighth front. The eighth front is the front that Israel, America, and Western civilization in general are fighting against radical Islam and against a woke, progressive, ultra-left movement that penetrated to Western civilization in different ways: social media, education, research centers, universities, legal war, and etcetera, etcetera.
Dr. Erez Soref: Like a week after October 7th, you started seeing mass demonstrations. This has been the biggest disaster for our people in a long, long time.
Guest Sagiv: A day. October 8th.
Dr. Erez Soref: And all of a sudden they have flags and they have signs. It's like, where'd you get that? How can you get a million flags overnight? You have to order it from wherever you want. It's going to take a while to manufacture it. So it was clear that it's way too organized to just be spontaneous. Somebody is behind it. And then it got worse from there.
Guest Marco: And while the kinetic war is very clear and everybody can see that, this eighth front, the war against the evil enemies that we have, is using very sophisticated ways to do so. By the way, it did not start on October 7th. It started something like 15 years before that.
Now we are seeing the outcome of this war. By the way, it is not just in Israel. Meanwhile, it is mainly not in Israel. We see the outcome of this front in Europe, which basically was conquered from the inside. We see this front in America, unfortunately, in New York. The fact that an extreme Islamic mayor was elected in New York is an outcome of something. This is not a coincidence.
I'm claiming, we are claiming, that there is a direct line between September 11th, October 7th, and all the way to Mamdani being elected in New York and the collapse of Europe and Western civilization. This is not a coincidence. This is a well-sponsored, organized, sophisticated campaign.
Guest Sagiv: It is being managed by the enemies of America, of Israel, and Western countries in general. It is maybe the biggest, most expensive, longest campaign that humanity has ever seen. It's hard to see that because we see only the outcome of that. Now more and more people are waking up and understand that the young generation, the youth, was kidnapped under our eyes without us realizing that this is what's going on.
I think somewhere along 15 or 20 years ago, bad people in Tehran, in Qatar, Doha, in Moscow, Russia, sat down and had a plan. They said, "Okay, how can we win? How can we win?" We have two options. We can use bombs, army, terror organizations. That's plan A. But let's have plan B.
Plan B is the eighth front. Let's start slowly, slowly, prepare this campaign, recruit these people, those organizations, those influencers, everyone. You know what's beautiful about it? We know today who is against us, from Tucker Carlson to Fuente to others. That's the American front. In Europe, they're all upon the surface. But they weren't in the beginning.
So they say, "Okay, let's launch plan A." Plan A was October 7th through Hamas. Maybe Iran will join, maybe Hezbollah will join. Actually, they are seeing it's not working. Our enemies, I mean Israel and America, know they cannot win against us by military force.
Dr. Erez Soref: The people that are doing this campaign don't like us. But we're the little Satan. The ultimate goal is actually America. That's the big Satan. That's the ultimate goal. For a lot of our viewers and a lot of my friends that love Israel, they really do, and they pray for us, they ask, "Well, how can we help? What can we do? What does that mean?"
They love America, and they love their country. So what do they do for the eighth frontier beyond recognizing that it's happening?
Guest Marco: Can I be honest and not politically correct for a second? I think it's important to recognize and to admit it first of all for us, out loud and clear, that there are voices in America and in Israel, on the Christian side and on the Jewish side—diaspora Jews and even inside Israel Jews—that in a way are part of this eighth front.
I'm saying something that maybe will sound a little bit radical, but a lot of people from both sides, Christianity and Judaism, actually unite or join the enemy.
Guest Sagiv: You mean the 33% from the Jews in New York City that voted for Mamdani, for instance?
Guest Marco: Great example. Great example. We have it also inside Israel. The fact is not if you are a Jew or Christian, it's which narrative or which understanding of this faith war you are taking side. Both in Christianity and Judaism, we have people that choose to join the other side.
So we need, first of all, to put it on the table as it is. They are part of this camp, the camp of—as I see it—Judeo-Christian values. Admitting that first of all will allow us to recognize who is friends, who's an enemy, who shared the values, and who we are fighting against.
This front, as I see it, is more critical and more dangerous. It's not clear that someone is trying to fight against you. They're using very sophisticated ways so that when you wake up and see that you are in a war, you were already conquered from the inside, and maybe it's too late.
Look, it's not a coincidence that a young boy in Tel Aviv or in Houston, Texas, for example, grows up on some values. It could be Jewish values or Christian values, family values, and all the things that are combined to Judaism and Christianity. He reaches the age of 18 or 21 in our case, goes to the university, and comes back very confused.
That is an understatement. In a way, he is hating his country, hating his values, hating his religion, and hating himself if we are looking at that.
Dr. Erez Soref: And not realizing that he's hating himself and acting against himself.
Guest Marco: Exactly. This is a problem that we are sharing in America and in Israel. Part of that is coming from inside of us.
One example that really comes to mind is that I've been thinking a lot about Nehemiah recently. Sagiv, you and I talked about it a little bit in the last month. When the wall of Jerusalem was starting to be rebuilt—this was Nehemiah's life mission—it was half-built and things were going good.
The enemies that wanted to stop it found someone who was an Israelite, who was a religious leader in Israel at the time. They paid him or whatever they did for him, and he came to Nehemiah and said, "Listen, you should stop building the wall. They're 10 times more than you, and they want to kill you. You should go into hiding. You shouldn't do anything. You should just stop this before something really bad is going to happen."
I'm thinking in some way, that was the eighth frontier back in those days. Fake news, threatening, and so on. Sagiv, I think that's your playing field. How do you think Nehemiah responded? What can we learn? How does that apply to the eighth frontier?
Guest Sagiv: Thinking about that, I will try to think about it out loud. Finally, America and Israel together are building a wall now to protect our values, our future, our young generation. We are fighting back, and this is the modern way of building a wall. What we are seeing is exactly the same thing that we saw in Nehemiah.
We see the enemy, and they understand that they cannot win against the military force of America and Israel together. They don't have any chance. They know that. The only way that they can confront or even try to confront something like that is by using the methods and the tools of the eighth front.
In this case, they are recruiting people from inside—by the way, in Israel and in America—that will come and from the inside will try to make us weaker. They will try to take our spirit down. They will try to come and to argue some arguments that serve the enemy. This is what they are doing.
If we don't understand or recognize our past, our history, our values, our heritage, and faith, we cannot see that coming in the same method right now. We won 2,000 years ago, and it will happen again right now.
Guest Marco: You know, it's funny you mention Nehemiah because I live in a kibbutz called Sde Nehemia.
Dr. Erez Soref: The field of Nehemiah.
Guest Marco: Yes. I think the lesson we learned from Nehemiah—we probably learned a lot of lessons from him—but taking it to our subject, it is understanding that along the way people will come and will try to do the same. They say it's wrong, it's bad, don't do it, and so forth.
But we will not be held back. We will keep on going and going because I think that's the nature of the choice between falsehood and truth. That's falsehood. We know the truth. When you go by the truth, it's always easy. We can see the outcome of that.
For 20 years, Israel and America have dealt with this. Europe in a way is already doomed. Maybe sometime in the future, we will fight back and claim back Europe. I'm saying that now everything is around America and Israel. That's where we need to focus.
I will say this: there's a lot of my friends, personal friends of mine, and I know it's probably true for many of our viewers, who have grown up on loving the Bible, loving Jesus, and loving Israel. But their children—and I'm not only talking about young children, I mean children from 40 all the way to younger adults—they do not share their views.
Sometimes some of my friends send me videos by some of the people we mentioned and others that claim to be Christians, but they have very, very negative views about Jewish people, about Israel, and about America. Now, they're Americans. They enjoy all the blessings, but they're speaking against it.
So many people ask, and I think many of our viewers ask, "Okay, so we've recognized the eighth frontier. How can we help our children? How can we help our grandchildren? How can we help our country in America, or how can we help Israel?" What can we do to help them?
Guest Marco: Eventually, we need to be very practical, and we are very practical people. First of all, we do understand that we are fighting together one war against a common enemy that is not just about Israel and not just about fighting anti-Semitism.
What we are going to focus on first of all, the eighth front, is inside Israel. Why I'm emphasizing that? Because I truly believe that if Israel officially will recognize the eighth front, not just as a front but also recognize the solution for the eighth front, that solution will come from an alliance, an official alliance between Jews and Christians that will be recognized by the state of Israel.
This is one of the points. Zion, Israel, is something bigger than just us the Jews. You guys that are part of Zion outside of Israel are part of all of that, and it will be recognized by the state of Israel. That will open a door for a relationship and for a collaboration that never took place before, so our enemies cannot confront something like that.
We are coming from a place where we know how to win. We know how to fight this kind of threats. We are building a plan that goes through social media, that goes through legal war, and that goes through education to fight back. Not to defend ourselves, but to take the war to the other side and to create platforms that will win.
Targeting and focusing on the young generation that was conquered by the enemy, we are going to change that. Inside Israel, we are working already and achieving small wins that eventually will come to a big win so that everybody in Israel will understand, recognize, and embrace this relationship between Jews and Christians from a security point of understanding why we need it.
We will create platforms for fighting back together based on faith—Jews and Christians against radical Islam and against an ultra-left progress movement that penetrated the West and penetrated Israel.
Dr. Erez Soref: And penetrated the church, by the way. I can see that as well.
Guest Marco: Yes. I have a very detailed plan that I will be happy to share in the future if needed. But we know what to do. We know how to act. We know how to win. The base of all of that is first of all to work inside Israel, recognizing that, embracing that, and creating the right structure for people to work together.
Guest Sagiv: If those three camps—radical Islam, woke movement, and communism—can come together into one camp, then truly I think and believe that Jews and Christians can come officially together into one camp to fight back and to win. This is what we are creating.
We call it the eighth front, which is very symbolic. Not just because of the seven kinetic fronts, but also because of what we are understanding that is written in the Bible, as you started with. This is what we are creating over here.
If you look at the Christian world—and I don't understand a lot—but I see that the generation from the 50s and above are all about Israel. We have a problem with the young people, the TikTok, the Gen Z, and the Gen Alpha, which are the future.
The campaign that we spoke about, the eighth front, targeted them. It succeeded, by the way. Mamdani is young. He's exactly what they wanted. They're winning on that frontier as you said. One of our targets will be dealing with the young people in the Christian and the Jewish world.
How do you do it? You do it by social media, you do it by education, and you do it through programs. The American Jews have a nice program they call the Birthright. I think we should do the same but for the Christians, for the young people, so they will come to Israel for a season and understand.
We are totally aware of it, and we are going to put a lot of effort into that because I truly believe the young people are the future. If we lose them, it's done. In 15, 20, or 25 years, it's done. We cannot take it back. We woke up a little bit late, but at least we woke up. Now let's deal with it. We're going to focus on those ages.
Guest Marco: The young generation in Israel and in America are combining forces together. They have the same values and the same problem, unfortunately, but a common enemy. Hopefully, we have shared values and a shared future.
We will create programs, very detailed programs, how to win together in America and in Israel in the camp that is based on faith, based on Judeo-Christian values and heritage. There is no way to lose this fight if those forces are joining together.
Dr. Erez Soref: Sagiv, Marco, thank you so much. It's a fascinating beginning of a conversation. I think there's much to talk about. For you, our viewers, we hope this was enlightening and opening a chamber to some of what's happening in our societies.
This whole discussion about the eighth frontier is nothing new to biblical history. We already see that in the time that ancient Israel was going into the land and even in the desert. You have the example of Achan. When going in the country with God's blessing, he was from inside the camp almost trying to steal God's blessing. When dealt with, the blessing of God came back.
I'm thinking about the rebuilding of the walls of Nehemiah. There were enemies from within that were trying to intimidate Nehemiah and to intimidate the people to stop building the wall. Yet, the leadership at that time, Nehemiah, recognized it and he did not fall for it. He kept on going until the victory.
Similarly, this eighth frontier, while it seems so sinister and something that was planned and executed for such a long time, is something that the people of God can come together and cancel. We can fight against it and win the hearts and the minds of the next generation—our children and our grandchildren. Thank you from Israel and shalom.

About One For Israel
Established in 1990, ONE FOR ISRAEL began as a Bible college and has since expanded to a multi-faceted ministry with the express goal of reaching Israelis with the Good News of Yeshua, training and equipping the Body of Messiah in Israel, and blessing our community with Yeshua’s love. The story and ministry of ONE FOR ISRAEL is part of something much larger – the miraculous restoration of the Jewish people and the miraculous unity between Jewish and Arab believers in Jesus. We are seeing not only the physical restoration of Israel after a 2000-year exile, but a spiritual revolution is taking place right in front of our eyes. Jewish people are returning to their God and accepting the Messiah in numbers not seen since the early church! Not only that, but many Arab people are coming to the Lord and many Arab believers are finding a deep unity with their Jewish brothers and sisters. ONE FOR ISRAEL exists to do ministry within this miracle. We are Jews and Arabs, together serving Messiah Jesus, sharing the Gospel with Israel and the world, making disciples, training leaders, and blessing our communities in the name of Yeshua.
About Dr. Erez Soref
Erez grew up in a traditional Israeli household, attending synagogue every week and learning the Old Testament in school all the way from first to twelfth grade, but to him, God felt distant. Bible lessons were taught more as the general history of the Jewish people, rather than with spiritual meaning. After his service in the IDF, Erez left for southeast Asia on the “Mysticism” trail, wanting to better understand spirituality. It was on his search that he discovered Israel’s best kept secret: Yeshua (Jesus) the Messiah. After his life changing discovery, Erez immediately wanted to study the scriptures but found no Bible college in Israel to help. Erez felt that he was called to change that, and has worked tirelessly since then to provide the opportunity to Israelis—both Jewish and Arab—to study the Bible, in Hebrew where it happened. Today, Erez serves as president of the only accredited Bible college in Israel, training Israelis for ministry in the One for Israel Bible college. Under his leadership the college has trained thousands for ministry in Israel, and created a online awakening with cutting edge media outreach. Through One For Israel, we reach millions of Israelis with the gospel every year, and hundreds of millions around the world. Erez lives in Netanya with his wife, Sisi, and their three children.
