In this study, I want us to focus in on two words. The first is victory, and the second is restoration. And you recall that David was most discouraged, and the reason for that was very simple. There were those from his own people that wanted to stone him to death, they were so grieved about what had happened in that city called Ziglag, and we see that not only was the city destroyed, and there was great spoils taken from the people, but also the women, and the sons, and the daughters, they too were taken into captivity, and the people, in a very human way, needed someone to blame. And who was that? It was David. But what did David do?
