We see that our God who is forever wise, is willing to share with us wisdom, a heavenly wisdom, in order that we can see things with discernment, and that we can make God pleasing decisions. Let me ask you a question. When was the last time that you prayed God helped me to make decisions that are pleasing to You see, what many people do is that we ask God to act in a way that's pleasing to us. That is not faith. That is not spiritual maturity.

Recently, I was talking to a group of believers. And I asked them this question, what word would you use to describe our Lord and Savior, Messiah? Sure, that is Jesus Christ. And the word that I received was mild, that he was a mild man. And when I look at the passage that we're going to be studying today, I would not use the word mild to describe him.

There is a consistency with God. Meaning God never changes. Why does he change because he is perfect in every way. And that which is perfect endures. Not only is there a consistency with God, but there is a permanency with God. God is forever. We all know the verse of scripture from Hebrews, where it says concerning your show, that he is the same yesterday, today and forever.

Wisdom has some practical benefits, when we live in wisdom, when we cherish it, when we seek it. And when we apply it to our life, we're going to find that God will move mightily there will be many benefits of being a recipient of the wisdom of God.

If you want to grow spiritually, and be a mature believer, then you have to have discernment. What does that mean? You must have the perspective of God. And that does not happen naturally. It is the outcome of the ministry of the Holy Spirit in the life of the believer, if we're going to be pleasing to God, if we're going to demonstrate wisdom, and do the things that are related to the purposes of God, we need to have discernment, we need to have God's perspective.

The author of Psalm 119, was a very faithful man. And his faithfulness is displayed for us in this psalm, by his commitment and obedience to the Word of God, this one love the instructions of God, the law of God, the statutes of God, and the commandments of God. But we see something, we see a very important principle, developing out of this psalm, and that is this.

Wisdom is something that should be seen in your life, by the decisions that you make, the words that you speak and the actions that you take, in other words for a believer, by means of that ministry of the Holy Spirit in the believers life, wisdom should be evident. So let me ask you this question. When people look at you, are they seen wisdom, God's wisdom being displayed in you and through you?

In Judaism, there is an expression called the dope toe vote, which means good personal characteristic traits. And that's what each of us are called to demonstrate. And those good personal characteristic traits are the traits that God Himself has. We are called to be like him to be imitators of the living God. And when we do that we are truly demonstrating faithfulness.

Welcome to our study of Hebrew numerology. Now, I make mention of Hebrew numerology. But I could have said just as well, biblical numerology. The reason why I stress Hebrew numerology is because Judaism tends to put a greater emphasis on the numbers that appear in the Bible, more than what we find in Christianity. But everything I'm sharing with you, is based upon what Scripture says, not what the rabbi's necessarily teach, or Judaism embraces but what we find in the Word of God.
