Lamentations Chapter 2 Part 3
It is because our God is a righteous God that He will indeed punish his people. And even though God loves them, he will demonstrate His faithfulness to His Word, to what he has promised, what the prophets have told and this is a great example that we find in the book of Lamentations, that the children of Israel, those who are dwelling in that holy city of Jerusalem, they have suffered devastation, and they have seen with great sorrow, those whom they love perish in the streets due to hunger and due to the sword of the enemy.
