Lessons in the Ladder Days

Candace Long: I'm Candace Long with Lessons in the Latter Days, offering biblical commentary to make sense of the times that we're living in. When Donald Trump made history in his bid to become our 47th president, I began looking for wisdom and perspective as to what his victory means in light of biblical prophecies being fulfilled, which signal how close we are to the day of the Lord.

Now many believers say, of course, he won, so many of us were praying. Yes, many were praying, but there's more to it than that. It was the unprecedented size of the win that should prompt us to look deeper. And what I discovered were other prophecies being fulfilled that I had never seen before.

I'm calling this episode "The Last Trump: What His Victory Signals and to Whom." Throughout our time together, I will introduce you to four different perspectives related to this topic. Number one will examine passages in the Torah and the Talmud that you may not be aware of. Number two, I'll share how Israeli Orthodox Rabbi Alon Anava sees Trump fulfilling a significant passage in Genesis.

If you're unfamiliar with Rabbi Anava, I introduced him in the episode called "I've Heard the Spirit of Elijah." Number three, I'll introduce you to a vision for America from the early 1800s and how the world stage is eerily conforming to the way the global elite envisioned way back then. And finally, I'll weave in my own commentary from time to time and leave you with some concluding thoughts to consider as we get closer to the day.

Let me begin by sharing some of this morning's journal as I pondered the fourth beast described in Daniel 7. This is the beast that represents the final kingdom in power right before the day of the Lord. Bible scholars agree this kingdom is Rome, the empire which serves as the model for the New World Order.

The beast is referenced not only in Daniel but in Revelation 13, describing the Antichrist as the one who unites all the nations to make war against God and Israel. Now knowing how the Lord loves to speak in metaphorical language, I especially took note of the words that Daniel chose to describe this final beast. As a professional writer, I'm a wordsmith and I pay attention to wording.

So here are 12 messaging points that Daniel used that grabbed my attention. Number one, the final beast is a charismatic figure who is larger than life. Number two, he attracts most of the population and is perceived as one who could come in and save a nation that is falling apart. Number three, most religious leaders are swayed by him despite his immoral nature.

Number four, he is known for having an abusive mouth. The Mishnah calls him apostomus, which means big mouth. Number five, the beast incessantly boasts and exalts himself. Number six, he subdues other leaders and thrashes them with his tongue. Number seven, he is known for his shrewd business acumen and deal-making.

Number eight, he loves conquests and the pursuit of the deal to his advantage. Number nine, he is known as someone who lies and deceives with his words. Number 10, he has a miraculous deliverance from what would have been a fatal head wound. Number 11, he is referred to as a horn. And number 12, he is well known on the world stage.

Now it doesn't take a rocket scientist to see that every one of these descriptive phrases could apply to Donald Trump. Now you need to know that the Hebrew word for Trump is shofar, which means a cornet that gives a clear, concise sound. Now before you start sending hate mail, I'm not saying that Trump is the Antichrist. Rather, I want to show you that he is God's signal.

According to my latest series, The Final Week of the Church Age, we find ourselves in the final seven years of what's known as the church age, which I consider to be a rehearsal for the seven-year birth pangs. In my series, I show you step-by-step how this seven-year rehearsal period began in 2020 with the pandemic.

If so, this puts us in 2025 now, in the last two years of the rehearsal, when a charismatic figure appears on the world stage bearing an eerie resemblance to the man of sin first prophesied in Genesis 3. I want you to consider the possibility that Trump's rise to power may have been divinely orchestrated for the benefit of the Jewish people.

Let me explain. By and large, Israel is no longer walking according to the Torah, no longer studying the Old Testament prophets such as Daniel, who wrote to prepare them that an anti-messiah figure would come at the end of days, first to woo them with great promises for Israel, only to turn against them after three and a half years, take over the third temple, demand to be worshipped, and then wage an all-out war to kill them.

Devout rabbis refer to this man as Armilus. So without benefit of the ancient prophets, how might the Almighty warn his Jewish people of imminent danger? I believe Trump's ascent to power might be part of the answer. Now I admit this is a theory, could be wrong, but it sure makes sense to me. Why? Because the United States has more Jews than in Israel. Did you know that?

So I think the Lord engineered our presidential election to speak prophetically to those Jews who do have ears to hear or who will have, once millions of us have disappeared from the earth. Just think about it. Our Jewish forefathers acted out all of the Old Testament stories for 4,000 years so that Gentiles who study the Torah and who live in the sixth generation before the day of the Lord would recognize them as rehearsals and would say, as an example, "Wait a minute, the whole scheme centered around the pandemic and polluting our temples is just like what Antiochus Epiphanes did in 168 BC."

Suddenly you see those old stories come alive with new meaning, just like the apostle Paul wrote in 1 Corinthians 10, quote, "Now these things happened to them, our Jewish forefathers, as a warning, but they were written down for our instruction, upon whom the end of the ages has come," unquote.

The Jews lived through prophetic rehearsals called Mikra for our benefit. Now wouldn't it be just and fair and right for the Lord to use Gentiles now to live through what will one day be perceived as a Mikra for Israel? The bottom line is that we are living through this last Trump era as both warning and instruction for the Jewish people to help them survive their last seven years.

A secondary warning is for us. We cannot enthrone Donald Trump and look to him to save our nation. That is pure and simple idolatry. And God will strip us from everything and everyone we depend on so we will say, "Ein od milvado," there is no one else besides him.

A final observation here is that Trump's presidency will make him the last Trump. Now as I introduced in the last episode, there are three times the shofar blows in heaven: at the first trump, the last trump, and the great trump. This terminology refers to three key events in God's dealings with Israel. The first trump was sounded 4,000 years ago when God was betrothed to Israel at Mount Sinai.

The next one, called the last trump, will be sounded at Rosh Hashanah when Messiah comes to the clouds and calls up his faithful ones at the first resurrection. This event is more commonly known by Christians as the Rapture. The great trump comes at the end of the birth pangs when the bride returns to earth with Messiah and Zechariah 14:9 is fulfilled, when the Lord shall be king over all the earth. In that day, he shall be one and his name one.

Rabbi Anava sees Donald Trump in Genesis 25, where we are introduced to the eternal conflict between Jacob and Esau. Let me lay this out for you because this sibling rivalry is key to what is happening in the Middle East. Jacob is a picture of true Israel, descended from the 20% who left Egypt at the Exodus. And these made a covenant with God to receive the Torah and become a nation of priests.

The rest of the Jews, Anava refers to as the Erev Rav, the mixed multitude that currently governs Israel. The rabbi does not consider them true Jews because they are aligned with Esau, who is in power. Esau, as you may recall from my series The Final Kingdom, is the patriarch and founder of Rome.

Long ago, Esau's descendants intermarried with European royalty and are the masterminds and powerbrokers of world government known by many as the Illuminati. Biblically, they are Esau, also known by the name Edom. That word comes from the Hebrew word admoni, which means red or ruddy, since Esau came out of the womb with red hair and a ruddy complexion.

Rabbi Anava recently said, quote, "Edom is holding the crown right now. That kingdom is Rome. Don't you think it's more than coincidence that the new leader of the Western world is a redhead? It's another hint from Hashem how close we are to the redemption. He is setting his soldiers on the chessboard. God saved Trump to become the leader of Edom, and that's why Biden had to step down," unquote.

Now should the Rapture occur at the very end of 2026 as my findings indicate, it will take place midway through Trump's last term as president. The world will be in chaos with millions disappearing all at once, especially in the United States. The unrest will be overwhelming. I see that God has graciously given us a warrior-type leader at the helm who has proven himself able to push through every adversity and survive.

There are four areas I'm going to be watching carefully as his administration unfolds. Number one is his ability to fix our border crisis. If he succeeds, then other world leaders, especially in Europe, will seek his help with their own border issues, so his standing on the world stage will grow. Number two is his influence with Netanyahu. Will God give him favor there?

Number three is how Trump's deal-making ability will impact Ukraine's war with Russia. And number four is his likely efforts to strengthen the United States Space Force, which began during his first administration with the help of business leaders such as Elon Musk and Jeff Bezos. Now regarding this fourth area, I believe we will witness more UAP and UFO sightings as the military-industrial complex experiences unprecedented growth and public policy influence.

President Eisenhower warned us, as you recall, about this complex. It falls under the oversight of powerful leaders descended from the Nephilim. It is they who are pushing NASA's Artemis program to expand its mission to Mars. This is dangerous territory because outer space is home to the gods with a little G.

They have waited thousands of years to regain control of the world that they once ruled openly. I discuss all of this in my series The Nephilim UFO Connection. In a nutshell, planetary rulership was given by the Almighty to angels to be watchers, but who left their assigned places in order to take over parts of the earth and be worshipped as gods themselves.

Artemis is not a mythological figure. She is a goddess, the twin sister of Apollo and the daughter of Zeus. In the heavens, they rule as principalities over geographical territories that they usurped, and they stay in power through the worship of the people who live in those nations. My concern is that the door to everything I'm talking about here has now been opened by leaders within this incoming administration who worship other gods. These gods are getting into position, which puts the United States in a critically compromised situation with the God of Israel.

Now before we close, I need to share four additional concerns. Number one is the danger brought about by the sin of lashon hara. God hates this sin and it is rampant in our country, especially evident in Trump himself. If you don't know what this is, lashon hara means evil tongue. It is the tearing down of a person with the mouth or the pen.

God equates this sin with murder because when your words tear into somebody, you destroy them in other people's eyes. Now to repent for this sin is nearly impossible for you'd have to apologize to everyone whose opinion changed about that person because of what you said. I implore you to guard your tongue and avoid people who slander and gossip.

Number two concern, Rabbi Anava believes biblically that America must fall. The primary reason is that the Jewish people look to our country to protect them. In Deuteronomy 32, Moses tells his people very clearly that God will scatter them throughout the world, and he will destroy whatever the Jewish people regard as their protection rather than him alone.

Now this prophecy in Deuteronomy belongs to the end of days and cannot come true as long as America is strong and remains a place where Jews can live safely and earn money. God won't have it. He will create a situation just like in Ukraine where the country is in crisis and the land will literally vomit them out. Anava has been pleading with American Jews for years to sell their homes and return to Israel while they are still able to, and like me, the rabbi believes the birth pangs are coming very soon.

A third concern are the global initiatives by the Illuminati targeting the realignment of world powers. The first initiative is the UN 2030 Agenda, which is very detailed and extensive, with the goal of a one-world power in control of all of the world's wealth and natural resources. The second initiative is the direction of the war in the Middle East, which interestingly is referenced in the Talmud.

Here's Rabbi Anava's summary of what the Talmud says will happen at the time of Messiah's coming, based on prophecies from Obadiah 1 and Jeremiah 49. Now these are his own words describing what the Talmud says, quote, "Chutzpah will rule. Everyone will do whatever they want to. Prices will be sky high. The Galilee will be completely destroyed and the Golan Heights area will be decimated," unquote.

The final concern I'll mention is how the Illuminati plans to bring about World War III in the same way it succeeded in bringing about the first two world wars. This plan was written in the early 1800s by one of the Illuminati founders, General Albert Pike, who was a 33-degree Freemason. Here's an abbreviated version of what they're doing behind the scenes now, quote:

"The Third World War must take advantage of the differences caused by the Illuminati between the political Zionists and leaders of the Islamic world. The war must be conducted in such a way that Islam and the State of Israel mutually destroy each other. Meanwhile, the other nations will be constrained to fight to the point of complete physical, moral, spiritual, and economic exhaustion.

We, meaning the Illuminati, shall provoke a social cataclysm which will effectively exterminate both Christianity and atheism at the same time, leaving the world's citizens without compass or direction and anxious for an ideal. So they will ultimately receive the true light of the pure doctrine of Lucifer brought finally out in the public view," unquote.

What I especially want you to notice is the important role played by Freemasons at the top echelon of the Illuminati who are preparing the way for the Antichrist to come to power. Now what I'm about to say in closing may be difficult for some of you to hear because so many families in the United States are deeply connected to Masonic lodges.

My family was too. I discovered that I am a third-generation descendant of a Mason on both sides of my family. One of my ancestors, in fact, my namesake, was Anthony Wayne, General-in-Chief of the United States Army under President George Washington. General Wayne was not only a high-level Freemason, but he founded Masonic lodges throughout the United States.

The Lord led me on an important journey and beginning in 2002, I came to understand that most men join the brotherhood to do good things for their communities and do not realize the beliefs found in the highest echelons of the order. Most do not know that the vows they say in their ceremonies are to a false god, not the God of Israel.

A book that proved life-changing to me is called "Free from Freemasonry" by Ron Campbell. What happens is that Freemasonry in a family line opens the door to a list of curses found in Deuteronomy 28 that often impact family members with Masons in their ancestry. Here are seven of those curses:

Mental and emotional problems, repeated or chronic sickness, the inability to have children, breakdown of marriage, family alienation, premature deaths, and continued financial insufficiency. This list got my attention because my family experienced almost every one of these things.

The result of my study is that I learned how to repent for the sins of my forefathers and loose myself from every generational curse associated with Freemasonry, and the results were literally life-changing.
