As followers of Christ, we cannot allow pride to take root in us. We must allow the Lord to deal with the pride in our hearts and replace it with humility. Examining our hearts and confessing our faults is never easy, but it’s always rewarding!

We are not meant to walk through suffering alone. God desires that believers be knit together in love so they might encourage one another and help each other know Jesus better. Reach out to believers around you and persevere through life together.

May our words always be gracious and respectful, especially when it comes to speaking the name of God. We must train ourselves to use God's name carefully and worshipfully. Let the name of the Lord be praised!

God is the omniscient, all-powerful Creator of the universe. But He is not distant or impersonal. He sees your pain. He cares about you and the details of your life. God’s love covers the universe, but His love also covers you.

About Joni Eareckson Tada
