What should we do with unpleasant circumstances? Paul says we're to respond in a way that is totally opposite to human nature. We are to face them obediently,willingly, sincerely, eagerly, diligently, readily, and with cheerfulness. It's amazing what can happen when we change our perspective.

When we fail, we must remember that our heavenly Father has forgiven us and wiped our slate clean. Then we can continue to be the kind of parents He calls us to be with renewed strength.

Instead, God’s Word directs us to be “soaked” with the Spirit, who guides us to do the right things and act in a way that honors God. In this message, Dr. Stanley explains the difference between being baptized by the Spirit, indwelt by the Spirit, and filled with the Spirit.

Our God is a God of love. He cares for us unconditionally and sacrificially and expresses His love by always doing what is best for us. Unfortunately, the world offers a counterfeit type of love. Instead of coming from a genuine care for others, it is characterized by selfishness and is destructive to those who indulge in it.
