Antichrist simply means those people who are against Christ. This entire belief system comes from Satan. In this chapter, Dr. Stanley explains that antichrist means anti-Israel, and it will come in the form of a powerful world dictator who will dominate the economy of the world. In “The Final Witness,” Dr. Stanley describes how God chooses two lampstands to symbolize the two witnesses who prove that He is God, and Jesus Christ is the Messiah. These lampstands indicate the light of truth in a darkened world. The two olive trees would provide the oil for the lamps to shine continuously. This chapter is a reaffirmation of God’s sending His final witness to remind the people on earth that there is only one hope. In this message, Dr. Stanley covers chapter eleven of Revelation.

In “Mighty Angel, Little Book,” Christ is in His glory once again. He takes sovereign possession of this earth to rule and reign in His kingdom. God’s final judgment is about to occur. Dr. Stanley explains that the little book given to John by the angel is believed to be the title deed to the entire earth. Jesus Christ—who created earth, placed man in it, and gave him dominion over it—has reclaimed the earth that was lost after the fall of man. In “The Trumpet Judgments,” Dr. Stanley explains the symbolism and the events that will unfold during this time. Each of the seven trumpet judgments drives man to realize he is helpless before the wrath of God. The trumpets destroy one third of their targets—vegetation, ocean, fresh water, and mankind—as well as darkening the sun and moon and producing a locust attack. The seventh and final trumpet judgment signifies the beginning of Christ’s reign on earth. This message covers chapters eight and nine of the book of Revelation.
