Thank You, Lord, for Our Freedom!

July 4, 2011

Finally, be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power. Put on the full armor of God so that you can take your stand against the devil’s schemes. (Ephesians 6:10-11)

July 4 is a significant day for America. We should not forget what God has done for us. Freedom to worship God has to be sincerely appreciated. I thank God that I can worship God freely. I thank God that he is still with us.

" The Root of Jesse will spring up,
one who will arise to rule over the nations;
the Gentiles will hope in him."

May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit. ( Romans 15:13)

Psalm 23
We live in a broken world with full of challenges, failures, and disappointments. As life continues, many unknowns lie before us that can weigh us down, inflicting wounds that often get buried or ignored. We have been created to thrive in our relationships with God, our family, our neighbors and ourselves. By knowing that God is our Good Shepherd, understanding the identity that we have as his precious sheep, we can find rest and healing in our souls. Through this humble book, Healing Through Psalm 23, may God comfort you who are suffering, who are in pain, who need forgiveness; may you know God, walk confidently and grow into the maturity of coming alongside others in their journey of healing.

Our God is still at work. All we have to do is line up with what he is doing and be alert. Thank God for the adversity in the time of difficulties. He will sustain our heart with supernatural peace. I thank God for his adversity in my life so I can be closer to him. If it takes adversity to know more about him, the adversity is blessing. We wait in hope for the Lord: He is our help and our shield. In him our hearts rejoice, for we trust in his holy name. May your unfailing love rest upon us, O LORD, even as we put our hope in you. (Psalm 33:20-22) Hope is in this text יָחַל  yachal ,is used  in words hope, wait, tarry, trust, variant, stayed. Waiting for God to work can come only from trusting God. Hope is waiting, trusting for God to do the work. Let's enter the inner room and meet our King. He is our only HOPE.

Visiting cities in Alaska was unique and different for someone who lives in Phoenix. While we were on the trip, we were blessed to listen to a speaker who has clear biblical values in his life,  a man who lives it and applied it in his home State. We were with Governor  Mike Huckabee and listening his sermons while we were on the trip. Various Gospel singers, a comedian and a puppeteer were sharing the love of God, each in very different ways.   " Scripture teaches that a woman has great value and that such value is often expressed by the way a woman speaks the truth about her God, raises and trains her children and loves and cares for her husband in a mutually dependent relationship. Such an image has become the target of an assault by many feminists in modern-day culture." Braxton Hunter www.bpnews.net

From the message from pastor John MacAurthur In Grace to You,Caldwell went on to say, "The pride of America is its mothers...."   I remembered the stories that I heard about WWII and the Korean War. WWII and the Korean War are forgotten stories for younger generations, or are irrelevant to them. I did not live in those times, but I have heard plenty stories of the role Christians played during war. I heard stories such as those of women who gathered together in churches to pray for the solders. Only if we can comprehend what America means to other countries, we might live differently.Proverbs 14:1The wise woman builds her house, but with her own hands the foolish one tears hers down.Proverbs 31:30Charm is deceptive, and beauty is fleeting; but a woman who fears the LORD is to be praised.

Dear Lord!We need you every hour.We thought we could make our lives without you.We realized we can not live without you. Please come near to us, heal us and restore us.We pray in Jesus precious name, Amen.Likewise, teach the older women to be reverent in the way they live, not to be slanderers or addicted to too much wine, but to teach what is good. Then they can train the younger women to love their husbands and children, to be self-controlled and pure, to be busy at home, to be kind, and to be subject to their husbands, so that no one will malign the word of God. (Titus 2:3-5)I just saw a rainbow as I finish uploading this message at 7:30pm. It was so beautiful. Grace of God is our only Hope.

Today is the National Day of Prayer. What we need in this country is the Holy Spirit.  As Mother’s Day is coming up, we should reexamine ourselves. Eve failed at the Garden of Eden. So are we. But when women wake up from the spiritual sleep and from the deception, it can be quite amazing. The most honorable women to me are the women who surrender to God and are filled with the Holy Spirit, the women who are under the authority of God and are submissive to His Love, and the women who have free access to the throne of Almighty God by the grace of our Lord Jesus. Mother’s tears and her prayers are never in vain. May God bless all mothers!

I saw a sign saying "Teacher’s Appreciation Week" in front of a school. Thank you all teachers in America and all over the world. I hope teachers know that they have more power of influence than anyone else to our children. Even if children  had a bad day at home, your smile or a little encouragement can change their life and give them hope. All Christian  teachers! You are in a mission field. You can not share Jesus publically even in America now, but you can show the love of Christ by letting it shine through you so children can see the light in you, Jesus. It can be exhausting to finish the last month of the semester as teachers. But think of the many children who will stay home during summer break without parents or are going through difficult times. Your encouragement can help them go through the difficult times while they were at home during the summer break. Cheers!

This simple belief gives us an opportunity to live in resurrection. When we see God delivers His children from sins and death, we experience the resurrection every day. For forty years of the bondage in issues of abortion in America since Roe vs Wade, and the wall of condemnation was broken in the Spiritual realm. I believe the biggest lie of the 21st century is unborn babies are not human. Millions were killed through that lie. But the worst lie is there is no forgiveness for people who experienced an abortion. God will show the power of the resurrection in churches, the Bride of Christ. When we bring abortion to the light and His gentleness guides us to repent, then we see the power of Jesus who is risen from the death. When there is repentance, the work of the Holy Spirit moves. Ladies, you are forgiven! Live like you are forgiven and free! You are loved. May God bless you! Happy Easter!

Please visit our website www.thehope.info and share with your families and friends. On our blog, http://thehopeinfo.blogspot.com/, I took a picture of two eggs with a mother bird in a hanging basket. You will enjoy seeing the sweet family.  I might think of the many choices that we made which seem to have no turning back. But there is God who is gracious and compassionate. We are just passing by here on earth. We are all going through the broken process one way or another. When we are broken, it is then  that God allows us to see him, how gracious and compassionate he is to us. God is the only one who can put us back together when we are broken. There is no hope other than being close to God for those who are going through pain and sorrow. Then Jesus said to her, “Your sins are forgiven.” (Luke 7:48)

In Hebrew, encouragement is Chazak. It is formed with chet, zain koof. This word picture tells us that encouragement is what follows the vision by Dr. Frank T. Seekins. As we are close to Easter when Jesus was crucified and rose again, we come before the Lord as intercessor for those who cannot even pray for themselves. We all can make a difference in someone’s life in enormous ways together with one simple kind word or warm hugs. We have to change the whole environment, the dialog and our attitude.Ladies and mothers and grandmothers, we are ministers at our home and in our neibourghood.Hebrews 12

Again this morning,  Amazing  Grace woke me up. This amazing grace wakes me up every morning to give me a reason to live another day. Whether there is one listener or two, for whoever has not heard this Good News, I have joy  to share the love of Christ that was poured on me. I woke up with humming the song,  “ How can I keep from singing Your praise? How can I ever say enough,How amazing is Your love?"Only those who experienced the amazing deliverance from the shame and the darkness will  understand why I am sharing this message of freedom every week. One of hanging baskets had  a bird nest with two  eggs.
