Rev. Jim Harden
Rev. James R. Harden, M.Div. is the CEO of CompassCare Pregnancy Services and lives outside of Rochester, NY with his wife and ten children. Jim pioneered the first measurable and repeatable medical model in the pregnancy center movement, helping over 650 centers nationwide become more effective at reaching more women and saving more babies from abortion.
Guest (Male): Yesterday, connecting past. Today, with an outer view. Tomorrow, to understand future. Yesterday, today, and tomorrow is the program that covers the current contemporary social issues in the light of our history. To understand our yesterday, to live fully today and tomorrow. Yesterday, today, tomorrow with In Song Kim.
Inseong J Kim: Hello, this is In Song Kim from Yesterday, Today, and Tomorrow. And there are a lot of things happening, but it's all related. And we are connecting the dot from yesterday, today, and tomorrow. And we have a special guest, Reverend Jim Harden, CEO of The Campus Care is with us. Thank you so much for being with us.
Rev. Jim Harden: In Song, thanks for having me back. It's an honor.
Inseong J Kim: Yes, I remember that we had a good conversation quite a while ago. And thank you so much for coming and all the things that you do for the life. And especially not giving um this investigation of the bombing on Compass Care.
Rev. Jim Harden: Yes, we as you recall about 3 years ago to the day of the LA riots, we were firebombed by pro-abortion Antifa front group Change Revenge, which really was was the result of an unprecedented security breach at the Supreme Court when they leaked full draft opinion of the Dobbs case overturning Roe v. Wade. And the you know, the the over 500 attacks occurred on pro-life, peaceful pro-life pregnancy centers and churches over the you know, days after and year year year and a half afterward. And you know, no virtually no arrests. But we we have gotten some movement with FBI Deputy Director Dan Bongino, who announced that he will start to look into illegal leak of the Dobbs case, which sparked this Maoist prairie fire of Antifa attacks on pro-lifers.
But they don't care about abortion. That's what we're realizing. The LA riots that we've been we've been watching over the last you know, a few days reflects that the the truth that Antifa simply piggybacks on left-wing pet issues in order to you know, destabilize society and dismantle government kind of framework so that they can kind of you know, destroy the nation-state system and pave the way for a global communism. Now, this doesn't come from me.
Inseong J Kim: Mhm.
Rev. Jim Harden: This is not these are not my projections or my theories. This comes from Antifa the Antifa fascist handbook that basically was written during Trump's first administration by a guy named Mark Bray. And he basically said, look, we we're we're we we're not a single-issue movement. There was a communiqué that came out after we were firebombed in in Buffalo by Antifa. And they said we we fight not just for abortion rights, but for trans liberation and the destruction of capitalism and the uprooting of the entire global civilization. So when you see protests like the Elon Musk the protests on on Tesla, the the BLM riots in 2020 after the George Floyd incident, the eco-terrorism at Stop Cop City, the transgender calls for armed revolution, the pro-Palestinian protests.
These are these are manifestations of of ideological Marxists piggybacking off of these left-wing socialist causes. And the idea here is and and President Trump recognized this in a tweet over the weekend during the LA riots. You know, look, they have the same pattern of behavior, the same black block dress code, the same propaganda anti-fascist, you know, you know, oppressive propaganda. And they are basically international insurgency. And they what they do is they they take these issues of the day, whether it be immigration and by the way, they're big on immigration because they want open borders.
And that's part of destroying the nation-state system. They take the the issue of the day and then they they they they foment you know, what they call quote-unquote peaceful protests, but then they use paid paid aggressors. They pay them money to to pepper into these peaceful events in in order to engage in violent aggressive activity to to to gin up the mob. That's exactly what we see happening again in LA. And we're going to see 2,000 more anti-Trump events that are planned for this Saturday. All you have to do is go on nokings.org and you'll see this this is a 2,000 to to to plan and orchestrate and and pull off 2,000 events on the same day nationwide takes no less than $20 million.
Where is all the money coming from? And I guarantee you they're going to piggyback off of the gay pride parades, you know, because homosexuality and transgenderism is another one of these issues they piggyback off of. They're going to pepper these events with with with paid aggressive people like the people that firebombed our our our location in Buffalo. And and they're going to they're going to try to overwhelm government forces like law enforcement. And and my you know, my hope is that they're you're not going to see anymore of these these Seattle-type, Portland-type autonomous zones that that you know, engage in in chaos and and and looting and and all kinds of violence.
Uh so we have a problem in America. And it's it's it you know, it does us no good service to treat all these issues that we've been seeing of late including the LA riots, the Boulder, Colorado fire bombing of those peaceful people or just recently the attack in on the Christian church in Seattle, Washington recently. All that they're all it's all the same. They're they're not isolated lone acts from left-wing activists. These are not grassroots youth you know, that are just you know, percolating. This is a highly organized, well-funded nationwide insurgency. And it's called fourth-generation warfare.
And this again, this has not come from me. This comes from Rich Higgins, who is the former irregular warfare expert out of the Pentagon during Trump's first administration. They engage in guerrilla-style warfare tactics like this. And so so we have to be aware as as Christians we have to be aware and alert because this this event is coming up in on Saturday. They call it the No Kings. Well, there is actually a king. They they you know, Marxists they don't want they they they have to destroy any any any any relationship that takes precedent over government.
And that includes God, your spouse, your children. And and they have to basically atomize society and make it and and and make make government God dictating what people should believe and how they should believe it. One of the primary tenets of Marxism is atheism. They have to attack Christianity, which is what you saw in China. That was China. You saw it in you know, Leninist Russia. You know, they are specifically anti-Christian atheists. And so that why they when they say no kings, ostensibly referring to Trump, they they mean they don't want any other authority but their own.
And so what we have to remember as Christians is that there is a king. And he is Jesus, king of kings and lord of lords. And everyone will answer to him. All nations and all peoples will have to answer to him. And so today as Christians, we must be aware. We must read the weather of culture. Jesus chastised people in his day for not you know, you can read the weather. You can read the world's weather, you know, the the if if it's red at night, sailors delight. Red in the morning, sailors take warning, right?
Well, the same goes for culture. We as Christians should be able to read what's going on. The weather of the world is is is there's a storm coming. And we have to be alert and aware and and and be prepared to give a a reason for the hope that is within us. They're going to attack us. They've already attacked us. They've attacked pregnancy centers. It was a shot across the bow. We realized it wasn't about abortion. It was about something much abortion is just a symptom of society. It's a symptom of society's sickness. And and so it says that we don't understand anymore what it means to be human under God.
God Here's here's the primary principle that constitutional rule of law is based upon. In America, we believe this primary truth that is we are made in God's image. We are endowed by our creator with certain unalienable rights. Our dignity does not come from government, but from God. And that is the basis of equality. That is the basis of a blind justice system. And if you if you eliminate that, if you extract that truth from the foundation of society, then then justice is is no longer blind. Equality is just a word that people use to manipulate the masses to their own agenda.
You know, so so we have a significant opportunity, I think, right now as Christians in America to to push back on this atheistic Marxism of the day and to realize what it is. There are there's a pattern of behavior that engages an an ideology that seeks to undermine the global nation-state system. There is a geopolitical change happening in the world today. And America is a flashpoint.
Inseong J Kim: Yeah, I mean historically they're always always there is expansion of the evil all the time. And I think would just bottom line is we all know who's behind it. The the problem is the generation of naivness or ignorance are buying this messages that it's against themselves. They're basically just shooting their foot themselves themselves to destroy our our country basically. That's what it is.
Rev. Jim Harden: Yes. There's a there's a movie and I wouldn't recommend watching it, but it's called The Usual Suspects. In it, there's a person named Kaiser Soze. And he says the greatest trick the devil ever pulled was convincing the world he didn't exist. And Antifa, like the devil, is a dark operation. And the Achilles heel of all darkness is exposure to the light. Injustice is happening. And as long this is a quote from John Stuart Mill, as long as justice and injustice have not terminated their ever-renewing fight for ascendancy in the affairs of mankind, human beings must be willing when need is to do battle for the one against the other.
We must be vigilant as American citizens, but also as Christians to stand up for what is right and to recognize the evil in the society and and and call it out to uncover the evil deeds of darkness. St. Paul required that of us. And the power of the Holy Spirit, we are required as Christians to see the evil, but not just to see it, but to speak out against it on behalf of the weak and the vulnerable society. And right now there is no one more weak or vulnerable than preborn boys and girls in the womb whose mothers think that they have they have they have to choose between their life and their baby's life.
So we've got we've got a lot of I would say a lot of upside potential. We've got a lot of great opportunities as Christians right now in this country to to speak the truth about what it means to be human in the gospel.
Inseong J Kim: Yeah. On on the regard is a bombing, why do you believe that has failed to prosecute those behind the Compass Care firebombing? What's happening?
Rev. Jim Harden: Well, that that that's that's the million-dollar question. And I think that you know, with Trump's executive order 14202 getting the task force to eradicate anti-Christian bias in government is part of the key. You know, you've got Pam Bondi, the attorney general, who's also instituted the weaponization work group to look into the corruption in the FBI and the DOJ. They turned a blind eye when when when pro-abortion domestic terrorists began their attacks. They turned a blind eye. They wouldn't they would not enforce the law equally when it came to attacking pro-lifers. In fact In fact, they turned the investigative power of the FBI and the the indicting power of the DOJ against pro-lifers.
We have whistleblowers coming out of the FBI saying they were being taken off of sex crime investigations to look into pregnancy centers. What really? I mean so we've got to figure out how deep the the rabbit hole of corruption goes. And I think the reason why we we they know who the attackers are. They We're seeing an amount of evidence. We We We caught it all on video when they attacked us. Multiple perpetrators, Molotov cocktails, half a million dollars in damage, two firefighters were injured in putting out the fires. They know. We've got IP addresses for phones.
We've got license plate numbers. We got cars. We've got We got the the actual attackers on on on video. Why haven't they arrested them? If it was anybody else, if it was anywhere else, we would have had a a nationwide manhunt going on given the fact that they they were attacking people all over the country. And they were saying they were going to continue to do it. They were releasing communiqués telling us that they that it was them who did it and they're going to continue doing it. They demanded that we shut down. It's classic domestic terrorism.
Where was the outrage? Where is the outrage? So I think I think we're going to get to the bottom of it sooner or later, but my hope is that my hope is In Song, that the reason they haven't made arrests is because the FBI has confidential human sources infiltrating the upper echelons of their leadership and finding out who they are and where they are. And I think it's an international insurgency. We're going to find people all across the world. And I think you're going to find that you're going to find that uh places like uh the Middle East and China are funding this multi-million dollar insurgency.
And I say multi-million dollar because I know how much money it takes to pull off multiple events on the same day because I'm a pro-lifer and I've been a part of you know, just this past May. We We did 125 Walks for Life all across New York State, which is the abortion capital of America. And they're pulling off 2,000 anti-Trump Antifa events on Saturday. It costs about $10,000 to pull off one event. We're talking about a $20 million day. Where are they getting their money? Follow the money. And I think you're going to find uh that that the leadership you you're going to have political bad actors that are associated with this in in in America as well as other you know, financial investors that are going to be fairly surprising, perhaps not so unsurprising.
Um but we we we're going to find out I think in short order if President Trump continues with you know, without uh without without reserve. We need to we need to continue to to push and push hard. And I think he was right. I quite frankly, I think President Trump was right when he federalized the National Guard in California. Uh you know, look, we don't want another autonomous zone scenario uh like we like we what we had in 2020 with Seattle or Portland. These are Antifa bad actors and they need to be quelled. But when they are quelled, they cry foul, they cry oppression, and and this they use it as another recruitment tactic.
Uh but we we need to stand strong uh with our federal with our with our local law enforcement uh to to make sure that our our society remains free from the corruptive influences of Marxist ideology.
Inseong J Kim: I think the problem is the story is twisted. That's the real problem. Because using that uh story uh of a mainly Gaza story and or like it just being a victim to instigate to bring a a kind of bring a justice to our society that the story was totally twisted is that the people who are trying to save lives become evil. And then just people who's trying to destroy the life become a hero.
Rev. Jim Harden: Yeah. Yeah.
Inseong J Kim: Really get the whole picture of what is really happening uh today. And that is that is more problem to personally that is more problem than I mean than an issue that we're facing. The public is losing it. They're losing the sight. That's a dangerous place to be.
Rev. Jim Harden: Very dangerous place. And you know, for America, we are you know, a a a government by the people of the people, by the people, and for the people as as Abraham Lincoln said. And we're fit only you know, the Constitution is fit only for a moral and religious people uh and wholly unfit for any other, said John Adams, the one of the founding fathers of of the of the country. We have to have an informed electorate, which means that uh the the the the freedom of speech and and if you know, you know, truthful journalism is absolutely essential.
And so I think what we're we're fighting is we're fighting lies. We're fighting obfuscation. We're fighting you know, we're fighting the the darkness. And again, the darkness can only be be be back with with the light of day. And and we are as Christians children of the day, children of the light. And we must uh we must uh shine the light on the injustices and evil that's going on in this world. You know, there's a there's another quote that I really like. And it's by a guy named Abraham Kuyper. And he said when principles that run against your deepest convictions begin to win the day then battle is your calling and peace has become sin.
You must at the price of dearest peace lay your convictions bare before friend and enemy with all the fire of your faith. Christians must be aware. Jesus commanded it. Jesus commanded that we be aware, that we awake uh and and be aware of what's what's going on. And uh and and not just not just coast and get along. Look, there there is there's huge um you know, changes you know, in the wind right now. And we we ignore this to our peril.
Inseong J Kim: Yeah, but I think the bottom line is when we zoom out and look at from enemy's standpoint of view, it's divide and conquer. So basically when we get uh violent to each other and uh and divided we already experienced before and we don't want that. Uh so we have to know what is really happening because at the end of the day uh the civil war is is the button that enemy want to push it for the destroyed America because the once this is what's happening, once the peace is is uh gone uh the economy is going to be crushed.
And that's the final goal of the disaster of America. And so I think we have to stay put and we got to be first we got to pray. Pray. This is not I mean can we imagine the pro-life issue is related to the Marxism? We never never even imagined it even 5 years ago, right?
Rev. Jim Harden: Right.
Inseong J Kim: Yeah, now it's everything is coming out to the surface, the truth who is really behind it. Why are they so uh vigilant about this killing the babies? And it's all the truth is coming out. First we have to I think pray. And we got to be wise how we deal with this issues without going to the civil war. Uh that's my personal opinion. Yeah.
Rev. Jim Harden: I agree. Oh, I agree 100%. Rich Rich Higgins, again I mentioned him bit earlier, uh he was the irregular warfare expert of the Pentagon during Trump's first administration. And he said Antifa's goal is nothing less than fomenting revolution in civil war and silencing America's anti-communists. We have to make sure like you said, we have to pray, be wise as serpents, yet innocent as doves. And their goal is to Of course, fascism according to the Russian Marxist definition is simply capitalism. So in order for Look, the American economy, the free market economy is buttressing the nation-state uh system globally.
And if they can shut that down, then uh they'll destabilize nation states all over the globe.
Inseong J Kim: Mhm. Yeah. The peace is holding our country. Put it all together. And uh once peace is is broken and that's going to be a real problem. So I think we have to be strong and we have to we have to learn the history. And also we have to learn what is happening in in the neighboring countries. What is their tactic? And how can we uh not suck into of those tactics that we don't have to uh be uh victim of the enemies, right?
Rev. Jim Harden: Yes, right. I remember I when I was living in London uh there was a you know, the IRA was a an Irish terrorist group that you know, started to bomb London again. And one of the things that I was I found so impressive with the English people is that they never stopped. They never they never let the bombings um you know, despite the fact that it was horrific and a lot of people died, they never let the bombings stop them from living their lives and and letting business go on as usual. You know, so the pub owner would even though you know, the the the fire the bomb happened, you know, just down down the street, the pub owner is going to open their pub no matter what.
The people are going to go to work no matter what. The people are going to continue to live their lives no matter what happens. They're not going to shut down. And it just so it was an amazing display of courage and and quite frankly, dignity in the face of terror.
Inseong J Kim: Yeah, you mean like even individual, how do you deal with the narcissist who who want drama, who want attention, who want control? Those are the narcissistic behavior. Is best way is ignoring it. In a way in a way calm them down and not giving so much attention. We when we escalate it I mean like we are social media season I mean time and we like to get attention, we'd like to escalate things. And it doesn't help for the American citizen in general, majority people. And I think that's very important and then wise to be uh like that.
So demand of FBI Director Kash Patel hand over all the Compass Care related a subject. And just share with us about that, what's going on.
Rev. Jim Harden: Yeah, I I think Kash Patel is um you know, he's he's moving the FBI in the right direction. His assistant Dan Bongino is opening up investigations into the leak of the Dobbs case, which sparked all of the violence against pro-life people. I think uh you know, you've got Pam Bondi, who is starting the weaponization working group. And she's got Ed Martin Jr., who is a good friend of pro-life, the pro-life community, uh looking into the corruption of federal law enforcement. And then you've got um you know, uh Pam Bondi's assistant, US Attorney General for the Civil Rights Division, Harmeet Dhillon, who promised on a interview with Glenn Beck that she was going to enforce the face act against pro-abortion uh aggressors, which is a really a good sign that uh you know, the the the the efforts of federal law enforcement are going to start you know, being more you know, evenhanded, let's say.
Um but in the meantime, I I do think you know, all that's happened in the last year uh or last 3 years with respect to attacks on pro-lifers should give people pause about the nature, the constitutionality if you will, of federal law enforcement. We should start having those discussions.
Inseong J Kim: Yeah, absolutely. We want to save babies and we want to save lives. And there is nothing wrong with that. And we are getting a text. So that's we are in the wrong place. So thank you so much for what you do. Thank you.
Rev. Jim Harden: Oh, my pleasure, In Song. Thank you.
Inseong J Kim: Thank you for your courage. And And thank you so much for all the people who are in the pro-life movement. And uh we have to recognize the real problem uh behind it. So thank you so much. And thank you so much for listening from Yesterday, Today, and Tomorrow. And we'll be back next week. Thank you.
