When David found out that his fall was related to the salvation of God in a grade scale, he got up to finish the war with Ammonites at Rabbah. The Bible is the only book gives us hope when there is death. Children of God are the only group of people who can sing and praise in the hopeless situation. Without experiencing the forgiveness of God and the power of the resurrection, David would have not able to get up and finished the war when Joab visited him and ask him to finish the war with Ammonites.
And those who know Your name will put their trust in You, For You, O LORD, have not forsaken those who seek You.(Psalm 9:10)
“The Lord your God is in your midst,A victorious warrior. He will exult over you with joy, He will be quiet in His love, He will rejoice over you with shouts of joy.(Zephaniah 3:17)
And on His robe and on His thigh He has a name written, “KING OF KINGS, AND LORD OF LORDS.” (Rev. 19:16)
