A Bouquet of Flowers

July 16, 2010
I went to the grocery store and bought a bouquet of flowers. I just wanted to cheer up my family. It was not a special occasion, but the flowers just made my heart gentler and prettier. I prayed to God, “Lord even these flowers are more beautiful than my heart. Please make my heart more like these flowers! (Romans 2:4)

Psalm 23
We live in a broken world with full of challenges, failures, and disappointments. As life continues, many unknowns lie before us that can weigh us down, inflicting wounds that often get buried or ignored. We have been created to thrive in our relationships with God, our family, our neighbors and ourselves. By knowing that God is our Good Shepherd, understanding the identity that we have as his precious sheep, we can find rest and healing in our souls. Through this humble book, Healing Through Psalm 23, may God comfort you who are suffering, who are in pain, who need forgiveness; may you know God, walk confidently and grow into the maturity of coming alongside others in their journey of healing.

I was looking up into the sky through branches with purple flowers on them. It is called Jacaranda. It is all over San Diego and Phoenix. Layer after layer of purple flowers seemed to take me to heaven. God made us in His image, more beautiful than these purple flowers. But Grace is what makes our heart beautiful. Our daughters need a loving and graceful mother rather than a perfect mother, yet who can gently teach them. God allowed me to share this message because I am one who struggled. Lord! Help us to be like you, gentle, yet strong! Please give us strength and wisdom! We pray in Jesus’ name Amen.

Lord! Please make our hearts to be tender as Your heart. Please help us to see each other as you would see us and receive each other. Thank you for giving us the Church where people open their arms and receive who are wounded and hurt. May our smile be a comfort for those who need You desperately. May our gentle gesture be a healing for those who need You! May our walk be a real fountain of love, not be artificial. You are the only one has that source of life of love! Pray in Jesus name!

Our role can be described in a simple way. As a woman, praying for my family, loving my husband, teaching our children with the words of God, and providing a healthy meal to our family is an amazing warrior. We would like to encourage and appreciate young mothers who love their husbands and children and create a home filled with love of Christ. A Mother's prayer encourages her husband, calms her children’s' cries and makes home sweet. When the time of trials come, God can bring victory to moms. May God bring Love and Strength through many moms. Titus 2:4

Whatever you are going through, do not give up! There is an end to the tunnel in every circumstance. Do not look down, instead, look up! Grace is the only door to our salvation, the only path, and the final destination. When death visits us, we open our eyes to the bright and radiant light of Jesus who welcomes us and says ‘well done'. There is no better reward than seeing Jesus face to face and His welcome to us into eternity.

I know the cost of freedom. I am aware of the ramifications of oppression and the control of a dictatorship. After living in America for more than twenty years, I realize the value of life of those who have fought for and are fighting for our freedom. They were not machines. They are like the rest of us, Someone’s father or mother, someone’s husband or wife, someone’s son and daughter. Knowing this truth humbles me and allows me to kneel my knee before the Lord for those who are at the front line. Jesus said ‘follow me.’ Many heard that voice and followed to save many lives. " I command you to love each other." (John 15:17)

" He brought me out into a spacious place; he rescued me because he delighted in me" (Psalm 18:16-19) Now we are living in the time after Jesus completed the law. We can be saved only by the grace of God. Even if we fail, as long as we come to Jesus our Savior, he promised we will be saved. All we can count on is the mercy of God. Dive into total grace; your heart will not want to stray and will choose to live the Holy life as God is Holy because you experienced grace. Calling the Holy Name, Jesus, cannot be separated from the Holy Living.

Dealing with abortion is not so much about MY healing or MY sin, per say. We are forgiven. But, healing is not about just me or just you; it is also about our families and the people around us who care. When we learn to come out of our self centeredness, healing happens, forgiveness happens. That is what Jesus did for us. “Speak and act as those who are going to be judged by the law that gives freedom, because judgment without mercy will be shown to anyone who has not been merciful. Mercy triumphs over judgment!” (James 2:12-13).

" May the God of peace, who through the blood of the eternal covenant brought back from the dead our Lord Jesus, that great Shepherd of the sheep, equip you with everything good for doing his will, and may he work in us what is pleasing to him, through Jesus Christ, to whom be glory for ever and ever. Amen. (Hebrew 13:20,21) As mother’s day is coming up, many mothers are more hurting because of a lost child. Many will be in sorrow without even knowing why. May God of peace comfort us in the time of sorrow! May all of us be comforters to each other!

Psalm 18:2, “My God is my rock, in whom I take a refuge.” Psalm 91:1-2 ”He who dwells in the shelter of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of the LORD, "He is my refuge and my fortress, my God, in whom I trust." God is our shelter. God is our protection from trouble and danger. God is the one who has recourse for aid, relief, or escape. When we are in the midst of storms, we will find refuge in God. When we find this refuge in God, we experience peace in our lives. Psalm 18, 91 was a very comforting message for me when I was having a difficult time.

If we have faith, the words of God transform us. And the transformation is an active term. It means constantly moving. It means active. It means something is happening. It is a sign of life. When salt touches a wound, it is sore and it hurts sometimes. But once it heals. It is so good. Let the word of God apply to our wound and let it heal in our heart. God’s grace is sufficient for all our sins and heals our wounds. Not only just to be healed, but strengthen us to be an army of Christ. Just reading Psalm 18 verse one will transform us already! "The Lord is my rock, my fortress, and my savior; my God is my rock, in which I find protection."
