Guest (Male): How can the Book of Revelation be used to save?

Matt VanderVen: Every jot and tittle, every jot and tittle can be used by Jesus to wake people up and let them know that my God, your God is a God that saves. Amen?

Guest (Male): We are delighted to share this next half hour with you and welcome to His Perfect Love online at His Perfect Love .org. At the present time, Pastor Matt Vanderboegh is leading a study of Revelation. We'll join him today in chapter 8 at verses 10 and 11 where the third trumpet judgment is sounding. Something that will impact the world's water supply like never before. But remember, all of this was spoken to us in advance so that we'd be warned and come to faith in Christ. Here is Pastor Matt. So, let's bring it a little bit closer to the United States.

Some of you are saying, well, that's great. That's the rest of the world. What about us? Let's just take one river. Maybe some of you have been to Colorado. Anybody been to Colorado here? It's a beautiful place to visit. Colorado River, what if it dried up, right? What what would be some of the devastating effects on the electricity grid in the western United States? Do you know that they have hydroelectric generators like the Hoover Dam and the Glen Canyon Dam which currently produce 3.3 gigawatts of power output? Do you realize that that would fall silent?

That would lead to massive power shortages and disruptions in the regions. Are we are we starting to get the picture of the ripple effect of this? That even the grid would be affected because we use hydroelectric. Well, it's only 6 %. It's still a small number. The reality is that's going to affect communities and populations. But we've already started seeing this in other ways. Physicians, nutritionists, they already know this and they've been warning us. That 's why if you go see many of your doctors, they started recommending that you supplement with vitamins, right? Some of them even said we want you to supplement with minerals.

Why would they be telling you to do that? Well, let's talk about the science and the data. We know for a fact that if we were to take broccoli, because we did this 20 30 years ago and you were able to measure the vitamin carb cuz it's a carb you were able to measure the vitamin content in the broccoli or the mineral content, not to mention the carbohydrate and the breakdown nutritionally of what that is, you would find that in 20 years ago there was substantially more yoodles. I'm going to use a a term that's I know we don't use it anymore, yoodles, utility than what we eat in that same piece of broccoli today.

I just want to break this down physiologically for us for a moment, okay? What am I saying? What is the main reason and structure for energy in the human body, please? What do the what do we need ourselves to convert to to make it ATP? Okay, ATP is one of the major sources of energy to the cell. And it can get it three basically three main ways. We get it through proteins. We can get it through carbs, right? And we can get it through fatty fatty acids, okay? Do you know what the last the last source out of those three that your body wants to actually burn is?

What is it? I heard somebody say it over here. Correct. Proteins, you're 100 % right. Do you know why proteins is the last fuel source that gets stored in the That Do you know why those amino acids Do you know why it doesn't want to burn those? Because that's what your body and your cells use to heal or bring correct structure back for a cell that started to get damaged. It can self-heal and it uses proteins to do that and there's a protein store and the last thing the body ever wants to touch is the protein store.

So, it'll feed off the carb store which is the starches and also the fatty acids and the lipids. So, if I'm telling you that your vegetables now and you don't have to believe, you can go look this up for yourself. You talk to a nutritionist. This is not something that any one of us here should be blind to in the last the last days that we can go out and we because the pesticides and the half lives of 20 and 40 years we have the soil has been compromised pretty much throughout almost all the world at this point, better in areas of Europe but nonetheless.

But because our food is less nutritious, we run short because our body needs that ATP. The cells need to do that conversion, okay? Because there's less glucose is really important. One of the first things that happens from a chemical breakdown right in digestion in the mouth, right? Because there's less of this happening, bodies are starting to burn more what? It's going into that food store it doesn't want to tap which is protein. Now, let me ask you a question. What happens when you tap the protein that's supposed to be there for cellular repair or healing?

When a cell can't heal, it's going to destroy itself but if it can't destroy itself correctly because it's not it's compromised, what happens to that cell? It goes rogue. We have a name for that. You somebody in here just said it, cancers. And yet we see cancers rising and rising and rising but nobody's going to a molecular That's not true. Nutritionists and many people are Most people are going to a molecular level to understand why these things are happening. Why are we seeing increased rates of cancer? Because it's already begun. The last of the last days our food supplies are contaminated.

The water, okay, the fresh springs are being lowered a year 1.64 feet per year. We're already in the cycle. Jesus told us the labor pains. He used that term. He was very clear with us. You can begin, ladies, to start having some discomfort even before you're in labor, right? Those are called the beginning of the labor pains. Well, guess what? We're already experiencing labor pains because the data, the science, everything shows it. This is not your imagination. Those constructions I I was telling you I go on and guys are saying, man, things are just off and I don't They're not imagining it.

You as the body of Christ that no longer have the scales on your eyes, you're not imagining it. Jesus is coming. And we are getting very very close to this point. And what he's wanting us to understand is this is what it looks like even now and we're alive and our human anatomy and our physiology is already being compromised because we have to eat more of this stuff to try to get the nutritional value out of it. We're burning more protein. We're seeing people get more sick. All these things are rippling happening and we're still here.

What's it going to be like when Jesus raptures the church off? It's only gets worse because as we know the soil is going to be contaminated. All the grass is going to be burned. We saw that already in the first trumpet. So, your your lands are compromised. Your water, oceans been compromised or a good third of it. And now your fresh water has been compromised. It is literally going to be like a hell on Earth in a way that human beings can't even begin to understand. You're going to want to die and can't. How do I know that?

Because again go back to chapter 6 in Revelation. Now it makes sense when we read about and this was back under the cosmic disturbances in chapter 6 verse 12. Now you start to understand why the people alive at this point were saying some of the things they were saying and they hadn't even got to the sealed judgments yet because they could see what was coming. Is there anybody here that can see what's coming? Can you already see it? Are you paying attention just like the church in Thessalonica that they didn't need to be told that the times they were living in because they understood very well, the apostle Paul said.

Look at what it says in chapter 6 verse 12. I looked and he opened the sixth seal and behold, there was a great earthquake and the sun became black as sackcloth of hair and the moon became like blood and the stars of heaven fell to the Earth as a fig tree drops its late figs when it's shaken by a mighty wind. Then the sky receded. The scroll rolled up and every mountain and island was moved out of its place. Here's why I want to draw your attention to, the people and the kings of the Earth, the leaders, the great men, the great women, the rich men, the rich women, the commanders, the military, the leaders even in the armies and militaries, the mighty men, the mighty women.

Every What's What's every mean? Every mean every? Every means every. Every slave and every free man or woman hid themselves. That's an all-encompassing list, isn't it? It's all encompassing. Did you ever notice that about that list? Every single person, they hid themselves in the caves and in the rocks of the mountains. Why would you do that? Because you want to get away from what you see coming. You already start to understand the enormity of it and you are doing everything you can possibly in human terms to hide yourself or get away from it. And they said to the mountains, mental illness, they are talking to inanimate objects, fall on us.

Well, what's that mean fall on us? What's he saying? Take us out and hide us from the face of him who sits on the throne and from the wrath of the Lamb. At this moment they know exactly what they're trying to escape and they can't. There's not a human soul on this Earth that is going to be able to escape God's wrath and judgment apart from Jesus Christ. That's what we're talking about and the stakes and the the sobriety of this and the soberness as I'm mentioning is so high that it's going to create such a ripple effect that would be so devastating that cities, communities, they're going to be rendered uninhabitable since there's going to be very little access to fresh water for a consumption and and and habitat for animals to provide food and humans.

You're going to want to die and you can't. You're going to want to not be on the Earth and you can't get away. You're even hiding yourself in mountains and it won't matter. I mean, our forefathers ladies, our foremothers, they used to say what? When they were traveling, they would always say as sojourners you When you are traveling, always stay next to a body of water because survival relies on being able to get access to fresh water. Today we become so spoiled. We got, you know, pipes and technologies and pumps and all these things that bring water right to our I mean, golly, we walk into the bathroom and and fresh water comes running out of a tap and we think that's normal.

So many third world countries, so many They don't have anything like that. They go great distances to grab water to port only in a bowl and use that water all day. And it wasn't that long ago we didn't have that here. I I had a home in Rochester before we moved to an old country home back in the 18 19 early 19 eight late 1800s early 1900s and it actually had an area in the basement that was dug out for water. And then there was It was obviously a well-to-do home in that time because it had the ability to have a pump brought up stairs but it wouldn't have been a pump like we understand it like a hand you know And it was literally It was still there when I when we moved in.

We It was a You might call it a not a basement like we know it but a cellar if I use that term you know But you could see it was all cobblestone. It was all old and it was dug in. It was only about I don't know, 4 ft 5 ft. You'd go down there and you had to do this. But I remember coming to that area and they preserved it in the house and I left it alone because it was a constant reminder for me of just how many years ago it wasn't like it is today.

And what's it going to be like to go 100 years back where not we don't have running water, we don't have the electricity we need. It's going to stop human life as we understand it. So, to summarize and I'm going to close with this, okay? Just to bring it all home for us here this morning is Lord's word already did that. At this point because of the sealed judgments and now because of the first three trumpet judgments but even just the first two, you're grasping for air, right? Because of the vegetation being destroyed, because of the third of the trees, because of the part of the plankton different things in the water like that that's a part part of the carbon dioxide oxygen cycle have been destroyed.

So, human beings are living on an Earth with 20 % less oxygen available roughly is the numbers I got. So, you're going to be Just like if you go up to back you know backpack up a high mountain in Breckenridge or anywhere you go in Colorado or something, you get up there and you walk for three or four hours, you had literally have to sit down. You got no energy. You can barely have enough energy. I I've done it and I That's how I felt. And I was young. I was in my mid 20s. And I got up there and boy, I got to sit down.

I had an orange camp there for like about an hour and a half before I hit the back bowl. What I am telling you is it's real. You are out of oxygen. You feel like you cannot breathe. That's what I felt like because you're at such an altitude and the the oxygen is lower up there. So, you're grasping for air. That's from the first two trumpet judgments you know what if you can even breathe at all. And then when you do begin to breathe, you start to breathe a stench from what? From all of the sea life, a third of the sea life on the Earth has died.

What do they tell you in Florida with the great red tide that comes? Stay out of the what? Water. Don't even go to the beaches. You shouldn't be breathing that in because of the bacteria and the microbial different things that are happening. It's not even good to breathe at that time because it can affect the lungs and cause pulmonary distress and you know it can do all kinds of things because the bacteria gets in there and then you end up with a you know some type of pneumonia or or bronchitis. We We're familiar this time of year, right?

We even get that through bacteria, okay? But anyway the point is is is you're going to be breathing such a stench for again from all the dead sea life and animals. Now, some of you may not remember what that's like. You know I I was I shared with first service. I feel like I ought to share with you. You know about 10 years ago we came down here and when we moved down here we went to this football game. We live in Mayberry, okay? It's right over here. It's beautiful. But literally we went to this football game and I mean you had people there from the class of 1970 or 1980 and they turn around and you know I loved it.

They had their their crowns on, the whole thing and you know they're supporting the football team. I thought, boy, this is awesome. We didn't really have that in upstate New York. I didn't see it to that degree. Football's a big deal down here. I love it. So, they turn around and they're there and I look at Lisa and I go, do you smell that? And she's like, yeah. And I look at the boys and I'm like, do you guys smell that? And And they're like, yeah. So, naturally I hadn't started the event yet. I hadn't started yet.

So, I I turn and I look at some of the people and I'm like, oh, you're from 19 say you were the you know I forget what they class president, you're this that. And I said, oh, I said I got to ask you a question. Do you guys smell that? And they go, no. What are you talking about? Lisa and I looked at each other we're like, oh, no. Have you ever driven around fields or in the country when they fertilize? See, I'm yeah, fresh air, right? I'm still at that point, all right? I'm I'm still a young in in in Pennsylvania.

I'm still at that point when I drive around those fields I go Some of you don't do that anymore. I have to shut off the ventilation in the car and roll up the windows. Some of you are like, what are you talking about? I've ridden with you in the car. Some of you are like, I don't smell it. It's like pig manure or like this nitrogen all kinds of You're like, I don't Not that we didn't have up in upstate New York. We had Lance. I don't know why. You know I am looking at somebody that lived in upstate New York with me.

Did you ever smell it up there like you smell it down here? Uh, it's a different kind of manure. I don't know it. You guys are high test here, high test. High test manure, whatever it is. But I am telling you I am smelling it to the point of where I am like and I am like, is that going to happen to us? I got to tell you I don't know recently if I did smell it anymore but but the point is is I know that when I drive by that I literally go because it's like I can taste it.

All right, so I want you to go back cuz this is the real deal. You got a third of the entire Earth with that cuz you're not getting rid of that smell from all the dead carcasses and dead animals that are going to dry on the land, not just on in the ocean in the waters. All this dead life and And when you try to go to clear your throat, you're already unable to do that. Why? Cuz you can't find fresh water, right? The Italian in me had to come out. Sorry about that. You can't find fresh water, right?

So, what happens? Your lips begin to go because you start to dehydrate. The dying process is beginning. Your salivary glands which normally are responsive for chemical breakdown, right? Amylase don't need to be pumped anymore because the tongue starts sticking to the roof of the mouth. The process has happened. It started and you begin to dehydrate and it sticks to the roof of your mouth. You know I think we all get the picture now clearly. Thank you, Jesus, for the detail. He went to great lengths and has for 2,000 years to make sure you and I could have a Bible sitting on our laps here today so that we would not be ignorant to what is coming.

I think of the Reformation. I think of men and women that died so that we could have a translation in our hands. I I'll short that was ago in the 1500s and 1600s Zwingli and you know Luther and some of those forerunners that went before us, people that were willing to die Gutenberg you know the printing press to die so that you and I could have the word of God, that we could study this in such detail to know that this world and where it's headed apart from Jesus and to create such a overwhelming desire in our hearts to go to people and go, this is not a game.

The depths of which the suffering that's coming, the depths of judgment that's coming is unlike anything you could have imagined in your mind. And when you read through this, it's very clear that there's no misunderstanding here. There's no misunderstanding why this is a great judgment. There's there's no misunderstanding why this is known as the great tribulation. Everybody is tuned in. We are not to take these nuggets and just keep them to ourselves because we can say, yes, we're not going to be there. But each one of us has created and created for a purpose to bring these truths to someone that doesn't know what's coming and to tell them and give them detail and say right now in your current situation, do you have a way to save yourself from this?

It's a very honest and legitimate question. If a third of the world's waters are destroyed, if all of the grass is burned, if you understand the nutritional value and the things that's already happening, the disease that's going to exist in the great tribulation is going to be like steroids that we can't imagine. Do you have a way right now to be safe from that? And the answer is apart from Jesus, everyone has to answer that question the same way. No. I can't stop the contamination of the third of the aquifers. I can stop the contamination of the the oceans where I get so much food and fish from.

Our Asian countries, Pacific, Washington. I can't stop the fact that I can't grow food anymore or I can't have animals to hunt anymore because they're all or a good majority of them are all dead because we've affected the ecological system. It's like a death sentence that's been pronounced right before you. What are you going to do about it? If you knew if you only knew that you could make changes to prevent maybe some type of disease, wouldn't everybody in their right state of mind spend all of their wealth do whatever they have to to to to to what?

To extend life or to not die, to do to make changes no matter how hard they are, to to live? How much more when we're talking about something that's not temporal but eternal? And I think when we present the Gospel in that way would love and truth and say, can you escape this? They're going to say, no. Do you want some really good news now? I know how you can. I'd like to introduce you to Jesus Christ. Please turn to the Book of John with me. Don't do that right now but that's the conversation. I want to introduce you to someone.

He's the keeper of your soul. He's the love of your life and he's been looking for you. And he sent me to find you and to give you the good news of salvation. There it is. There it is, friends.
