The call of the North woods and waters is so strong to many that love God’s Great Outdoors. A week spent on the lakes of Northern Ontario is a peaceful and relaxing experience that helps calm any storm that a person might be carrying.
On today’s show we’ll meet Wisconsin farmer Lynn Sedelbauer joined us for a week of fishing. He is a living and breathing Job from the old testament. He’s lived through the loss of much of his family, but with the help of God, He’s still standing strong.

Sometimes God puts people in your path and we can know without a doubt that He has a plan in the relationship.
This week we introduces Scot and Julie Iverson a couple from Northern Nebraska. Dean met this couple at Rushing Wind Camp in Ontario. They hit it off instantly and today they share a few fishing stories from Northern Canada and life stories from the loss of a ranch and their livelihood, to being hit by a lightning bolt, this couple has exciting stories to tell. Come step into God’s Great Outdoors and walk with us down The Trail to Adventure as we hear about how God can use us, even when we’ve felt abused and taken advantage of.

Like the gardener, many hunters plant food plots and wait on the seeds they’ve planted to sprout and produce the plants that the deer need to grow healthy and strong.
In the last words of Jesus we heard a commend to plant seeds, when He said in Mark 16:15 “Go into all the world and preach the gospel to all creation.”
Today we’ll learn a lot about planting seeds and nutrition for wildlife… from Doug Kostreva of Horne Buck Seed Company. We’ll also learn about our responsibility to plant and water for Jesus Christ throughout our lives.

The largest growing segment in the outdoor world today is women. Over 25% of the fishing and hunting participants are now women. If you throw in other activities in God’s Great Outdoors, the percentages go way up.
This week we hear from our host’s lovely hunting partner, his wife Linda about her short but very successful hunting career. More importantly, she gives all of the credit and glory for her success to her Savior, Jesus Christ.

God uses the most unusual things to turn our heart to His. To the person that does not enjoy the outdoors the thought of God using antlers to win a man to Him would seem strange and nearly impossible. Today our host, along with antler collector, Jay Fish, will again share some stories of some of the biggest and most unusual antlers ever found or harvested.

We’ll meet Ben Kunciatis who shares his camps with many others via social media and YouTube. Our host, Dean Hulce, has shared camps several camps with this quest and the friendship and brotherhood has grown stronger because of “Camp”.

Most of us grow up with a dream of what we would like to do for the rest of our lives. Some of us want to be professional athletes, some doctors and some of us grew up wanting to hunt or fish for the rest of our lives… this was the case for our host, Dean Hulce and for today’s guest, Dan Eigen, who ended up making his living guiding fisherman in the walleye capitol of the world, Brainerd, Minnesota. Dean and Dan are both fighting cancer and share how God is working.

Our guest Steve Nooyen shares how God has used his business to fund ministry to work to serve others as Jesus did. His life is based on Ephesians 2:10 which talks about the Christian is called to Good Works. Join us as we talk about how God is moving in the outdoors in service to those that struggle to be able to get out on their own.
