This annual event is a trade show for outdoor dealers and archery shops that handle Mathews bows, Mission bows and crossbows, and products that license the Lost Camo pattern that is owned by Mathews, Inc. Gerry discovered Pro King Spoons on a trip through Minnesota up to Rushing Wind Retreat Center for the annual June men’s and couple’s retreats. Tom Doss and Gerry rendezvoused on another trip through Michigan, and the two discussed this lure business, plus, how some difficulties in Tom’s life allowed him to see the hand of God and be drawn into a closer walk with the Creator God.

For information on Rushing Wind, listeners can contact The Wolfs by calling (715) 683-2530.

The two also talk about "Hooked For Life", that has a similar format as "Centershot", but uses fishing as the “hook” to bring the families in, not only to learn about fishing, but to learn scriptures that many have never heard before.

A very special commercial aired last Christmas in the upper half of Michigan, as Jay’s Sporting Goods did not try to get people to come in and buy products; but to just remember that this time of the year is about the birth of the baby Jesus. One of the owners, Jeff Poet, and the manager of both stores, Mark Copeland, talk about the company policy of "Jesus First", and how many phone calls they received from this commercial that aired in December of 2011. Listeners will be brought to tears when they hear this radio spot which is part of the broadcast this week.

This week’s interview is with Dr. Richard Swenson about his book, More Than Meets the Eye. Dr. Swenson taught surgery at the University of Madison Wisconsin and his minor is in physics. He discusses how complex we are, starting from the subatomic particle level, molecules, cells and details of how the eyes and ears work.
