Worst Floods in Colorado History - Worst Government in Colorado History

September 19, 2013
Is it a mere coincidence that we have the worst floods and fires in Colorado history this year, while at the same time we have experienced the worst legislative session in Colorado history? Kevin Swanson wonders why our leaders say, "God bless America," when the god they are talking about doesn't have the power to control the weather? Ridiculous! But what does good civil government look like? Should a Christian get involved in jury duty and execute God's laws?

There are liars in the world, and then there are spectacular liars. They can fool billions of people, and shift popular opinion using their cute little narratives. The power of the media to form the narrative and frame the zeitgeist is pretty impressive. Kevin Swanson interacts with Global Warming, Matthew Shepherd, and Richard Dawkins (in his brave attempts to move pedophilia a little closer to public acceptance.)

Did Peter and Paul bring the worship band up with a few cute gals in mini-skirts to lead the worship in Antioch? Sort of doubtful. What makes for good worship music in the 21st century church? Kevin Swanson interviews Scott Brown on the relationship of music to worship.

While the rest of the world is birth-imploding, there are still a number of women who love babies and their love just grows with every child that comes. Natalie Klejwa from Visionary Womanhood talks about the tests of faith and the love that blossoms as our children grow.

In an election that will teach the liberals in America a valuable lesson for a long time to come, Colorado voters recalled two senators who tried to abridge gun rights in the last legislative session. God-fearing families will always fight for the freedoms to protect their families with guns and protect their children from the wrong worldviews (by homeschooling). They will also fight to protect their daughters from the draft.

The real crux of the worldview battle in our day is centered around the question, "Who will be God?" Is God the center of your life and worship, or are you the center of your life and worship. Kevin Swanson interviews Scott Brown on restoring God-centered worship in the 21st century church.

Persecution is heating up in the Middle East, where Christians are caught between the old regimes and the rising fundamentalist Muslim crowd. As always, Christians usually catch the brunt of the revolutionary violence. Should a Christian stay and bear up under the persecution or leave? What can we do to assist our brothers and sisters who suffer in these areas of the world? Kevin Swanson interviews Jerry Dykstra from Open Doors ministry on the on-going persecution in Syria and Egypt.

Churches are powerless because they are man-centered instead of God centered, and they have lost sight of the biblical definitions of Gospel. Incredibly, the Christian Gospel has been reduced to such an LCD that it doesn't even include the Great Commission anymore. The rejection of the Law of God by the evangelical church has resulted in a reduction in the meaning of sin, atonement, Christ's offices, etc. It has also separated sanctification from salvation. Getting the Gospel right is pretty important these days.

Dramatic changes and sudden destruction is finally materializing among the most powerful cultural leaders. For the first time in the history of pop music, all top five songs on the popular music charts are self-consciously nihilist. Kevin Swanson points out that we've come a long way down the suicidal track from "You Light Up My Life" and "Billy Jean." Who will be salvaged in this mass cultural suicide? Who will be salvaged from the public schools that are pressing for a sex-ed program in Kindergarten? You have to "GET OFF THE TRAIN" if you don't want your children to go to hell.

We ask the simple question, "What's wrong with America?" and Dr. Alan Keyes takes his best shot at it. Things like the absence of the fear of God, compromising Republicans, godless elitists, and the rise of tyranny play into the conversation.

In the which Kevin Swanson speaks approvingly of making wedding cakes for happy weddings, but not for the miserable-ish gay weddings. There are several conditions in which a Christian may be able to provide a wedding cake for the Neronic weddings, and we elucidate here. Kevin Swanson also affirms the biblical position on slavery, homosexuality, and cannibalism - something the prime minister of Australia fails to do.
