It's the broken generation . . . the hopeless generation. . . . They call them the Gen Z generation for a reason. It is the last generation. These have lost the will to continue a civilization—to get married, have children, and live in a sane world. They are homosexual. They have embraced homosexuality. They have lost interest in the nuclear family. But ultimately, they have lost hope. There is only one way to redeem this.

The revolution that destroyed our world took place in the 1960s, largely led by popular culture—movies and music. Here we examine the social, sexual, and political revolutionary fervor that marked a Proverbs 30:11-14 crowd in the 1960s and 1970s. The revolution was always intended to destroy, and destroy is what it did. But do Christian Americans realize that the destruction came by the Beach Boys, Roy Orbison, Bob Dylan, and Simon and Garfunkel? The existentialism of Jean-Paul Sartre played hardest on the pop culture icons of this era.

The corporate wokies appeared to have lost all grasp on reality at multiple levels. The free market is sacrificed on the altar of political correctness. The board room has abandoned all rationality for woke, whether it be sex change operations or the value of Apple. But how shall we then live? What are God's people to do? Revelation 18 comes to mind.

The coronation of Charles III marks the end of an era. Although Charles will take an oath to follow God's law in the pattern of Athelstan, that is not the direction set anymore to this post Christian country. We take a moment to appreciate what God did for England over 1,000 years.

The world has faced crisis before, and it is facing crisis today. Worldviews matter when crisis hits. Naturalistic, atheistic, materialistic worldviews are tested and found wanting during times of crisis. They’re insufficient to bring hope or explain the basic questions of life. Kevin Swanson interviews Jeff Myers on the importance of a biblical worldview on this edition of Generations.

Does prosperity bring happiness? Does education bring prosperity? That's the question addressed on this segment of Generations. South Korea is abandoning the Christian faith as the country grows more prosperous—and this is especially so among the younger generation. Evangelical churches saw a 20% drop off in church membership over the last 10 years. Church attendance with the largest denominations across the nation dropped from 17.8% to 13.6% between 2011 and 2021. The country may have the fastest-growing economy in the West, at the expense of abandoning the faith. Young people are more likely to attend school or after-school school than church on a Sunday. What is it that lends to long-term prosperity of a country? Education isn't the answer. Prosperity comes from God.

As we glance over the final chapter of the US economy, we witness the last-ditch efforts on the part of corporate America and the US government to keep the behemoth alive. The pitiful efforts on the part of Apple, Chevron, Bed Bath and Beyond, Visa, Discover, Nike, Cisco, Walmart, Morgan Stanley, and Home Depot looks a lot like the final chapter of the US government spending. There is an appearance of value, but less and less substance to it every day. The deficits/GDP and debt servicing are all spinning out of control, since the cycle began in 2001, and to some extent in 1980. But, where do Christians invest now? What is your best investment?

Here are the summary findings to our study on "The Evil Index for the US States." Which is the most evil state in America on the basis of violations of the 6th, 7th, and 8th commandments? Which is the best state? Taking a biblical worldview assessment of public policy and the moral state of the people, which is the worst and which is the best? Here are some surprises. What contributes to the unrestrained evil? Whatever happened to the salt?

Tucker Carlson didn't last long as the top-rated program for Fox News. The zeitgeist pulled him quick when a little truth about the more significant matters began slipping out around the edges. Was he pushing a little too hard on prayer and some kind of fear of God in that Heritage Foundation talk last Friday? Here we play a segment of Tucker Carlson's last address before he was on ice, and review the history of conservative media as it came on strong in the late 1980s. What is the Christian perspective of these talk shows?

Will Christian community be characterized as a retreat center or a saltshaker? Will it be a ghetto or an army camp? Will it be distributing special grace or common grace? Will we escape the world, or will we overcome the world? What are the words used to describe Christian community in Scripture? What is the strategy for developing Christian community, and what is the relationship of the family to the church and the world out there? Why do Christians seek out a comfort zone, and settle into a retreatistic mentality? These are monumental questions addressed in this very informative discussion on this edition of Generations.
