There is an idea that suggests that Christians and non-Christians operate in two different law systems, one in God's law revealed in the Bible and the other in God's law revealed in nature with no aid from the Bible. These two law systems define two distinct kingdoms with two distinct goals. The kingdom of God's law in the Bible is concerned with redemption and the non-Bible kingdom with things like politics and education. But what about “thy kingdom come on Earth as it is in Heaven”? Is the kingdom in heaven ruled by natural law or Biblical law? And when Jesus commissioned the church to make disciples of all nation by teaching them all that He has commanded, does that all include the law of God as recorded in the Bible? Dave Buehner speaks with Bojidar Marinov about how two-kingdom thinking is separating ethics from politics and gospel from all of life.
