Reformation Burnout
In any reform movement, you will run into “reformation burnout.” Whether it be homeschooling or something else, people lose the vision. Some don't quite get it, and then lose whatever they had. But for those who hang in there, and remain humble and teachable through the process, great things may indeed happen over the generations.
Kevin Swanson interviews a second generation homeschool father, Israel Wayne on this edition of the Generations broadcast. We talk about the reasons why some fizzle out. But many continue on, and as they do so, they begin to see how a biblical worldview impacts every single aspect of life. Homeschooling may be opening the door to the development of new social systems and communities in the century to come.
