Finding the Root of Your Anger and Worry
When anger flares or worry takes over, there's usually something deeper underneath. John Fuller, Dr. Greg, and Erin Smalley unpack a conversation with counselor Debra Fileta about what's really driving our emotions and share practical habits to help couples connect beneath the surface.
Announcer: We move into this season of fall, which is the season of conflict and communication. What season is it for your marriage? Counselor Debra Fileta on Focus on the Family Minute, sharing about one of the four seasons that every marriage goes through.
Debra Fileta: Fall is where your true colors start to shine through, and you start really seeing that person for who they are, but that can come with conflict.
And then we move into the season of winter, which I always say is the season of turning inward. It's a season of hibernation. But not only that, winter I have learned is also a season of disinfecting. God uses winter to disinfect the ground and get it ready for the season of spring.
So even when you're in a season of winter that feels cool, that feels apathetic, that feels frozen, there is hope that spring can come again.
