Laurie Cardoza-Moore: On our program today, you'll meet Dr. Zuhdi Jasser, a devout Muslim who is an outspoken supporter of Israel, has spoken against the ideology of political Islam and opposed to the building of a mosque near Ground Zero in New York.

Laurie Cardoza-Moore: In the groundbreaking documentary, The Third Jihad, Dr. Jasser went on a mission of discovery to expose the war the media is not telling you about. He reveals an enemy our government is too afraid to name.

Laurie Cardoza-Moore: Hello, and thank you for joining me today on Focus on Israel.

Laurie Cardoza-Moore: Like most Americans, I began to ask a lot of questions about what happened to our country following 9/11.

Laurie Cardoza-Moore: As I read and talked to experts, the issues of radical Islam and the attacks on America and Israel became extremely personal to me.

Laurie Cardoza-Moore: I realized that Israel is facing threats from nearly every corner. From Iran's nuclear weapons program, from terrorist groups such as Hamas, Hezbollah, Al-Qaeda, and ISIS. I also saw how much of the world is against the Jewish state.

Laurie Cardoza-Moore: The UN and the world continue to demand the creation of a Palestinian state, a terrorist state on Israel's doorstep.

Laurie Cardoza-Moore: So if you're a Christian, why should you care? Many Christians believe that as the Jews rejected Jesus, then God has rejected them.

Laurie Cardoza-Moore: This replacement theology is growing, as many Christians believe they have replaced the Jews in God's prophetic plan.

Laurie Cardoza-Moore: If you truly believe the Bible is the word of God, then you know that when he speaks of Israel, he is speaking about the land of Israel and the Jewish people, not the church.

Laurie Cardoza-Moore: The mission of this series and PJTN is to educate and equip you, so that you can share this truth with your family and friends.

Laurie Cardoza-Moore: Today, you'll meet a man who is not afraid to speak out, Dr. Zuhdi Jasser.

Laurie Cardoza-Moore: He's an American religious and political commentator and medical doctor specializing in internal medicine and nuclear cardiology.

Laurie Cardoza-Moore: Jasser is the son of Syrians who immigrated to the United States in the 1960s due to repression in their homeland.

Laurie Cardoza-Moore: He served in the Navy for 11 years, receiving the Meritorious Service Medal and attaining the rank of Lieutenant Commander, and serving as staff internist for Congress.

Laurie Cardoza-Moore: In 2003, with a group of American Muslims, Jasser founded the American Islamic Forum for Democracy, and in 2004, he was one of the founders of the Center for Islamic Pluralism.

Laurie Cardoza-Moore: He is also a contributor to national and international media, where he has spoken against the ideology of political Islam or Islamism.

Laurie Cardoza-Moore: He has been a frequent guest on Fox News, Newsmax, CNN, CBS, MSNBC, and The Blaze. He has also contributed articles to many nationally read newspapers.

Laurie Cardoza-Moore: Jasser frequently writes and talks about the issue of political Islam.

Laurie Cardoza-Moore: James Woolsey, former head of the CIA, describes him as the kind of man our government should listen to.

Laurie Cardoza-Moore: Jasser has criticized several American Muslim organizations, including the Council on American Islamic Relations.

Laurie Cardoza-Moore: The Islamic Society of North America, the North American Imams Federation. The Assembly of Muslim Jurists of America. Muslim Students Association. The Muslim Public Affairs Council. The Muslim American Society. The Islamic Circle of North America, and the Center for the Study of Islam and Democracy.

Laurie Cardoza-Moore: He sees them as Islamists, as they support a mixing of Islam and politics.

Laurie Cardoza-Moore: He has been especially critical of CAIR, a Muslim-American civil rights group that he says does not adequately condemn the goals of terrorist groups.

Laurie Cardoza-Moore: In 2010, Jasser strongly opposed the building of the Park 51 project, a 13-story mosque two blocks from the World Trade Center site.

Laurie Cardoza-Moore: He said he was concerned that the funding of the $100 million project might be coming from foreign Islamist sources.

Laurie Cardoza-Moore: And also said, "Ground Zero is purely about being American. It can never be about being Muslim."

Laurie Cardoza-Moore: In his television appearances, Jasser has claimed that 3 to 5% of US Muslims are militant, and 30 to 40% do not believe in separation of mosque and state.

Laurie Cardoza-Moore: He also states that "Clearly, the majority of the mosques in the United States are led by imams who are Islamists who believe that in Muslim-majority countries, that the state should be identified as an Islamic state."

Laurie Cardoza-Moore: He has supported statewide bans on Sharia Law in American courts, and has helped bolster conservative warnings that American Muslims seek to replace the Constitution with the harsh interpretation of Islamic law.

Laurie Cardoza-Moore: He's an outspoken supporter of Israel and believes that Muslim organizations and leaders need to be held to a litmus test to see whether they recognize Israel as a state.

Laurie Cardoza-Moore: He has contributed to four documentaries and was the main contributor and narrator in the Clarion Fund film, The Third Jihad.

Laurie Cardoza-Moore: Jasser states that "This is not a film about Islam, it is about the threat of radical Islam."

Laurie Cardoza-Moore: "Only a portion of the world's 1.3 billion Muslims are radical. This film is about them."

Laurie Cardoza-Moore: "The Third Jihad exposes that radical Islamists, driven by a religiously motivated rejection of Western values and religion, are engaging in a multifaceted strategy to destroy the Western world."

Guest (Male): It was the 1st of September, 2004. For many of these kids, it was their first day of school. What started out as a day of great joy and excitement ended as one of the worst hostage tragedies in human history.

Guest (Male): Inside this gym, more than 1,200 hostages were crowded together with explosives suspended above their heads.

Guest (Male): Three days later, over 300 hostages were killed, including 156 children. The terrorists were Muslims, and they carried out the attacks in the name of Islam.

Dr. Zuhdi Jasser: I'm also a Muslim and I've dedicated my life to fighting the threat of radical Islam. As a devout Muslim, I saw it as my responsibility to expose the radicals.

Dr. Zuhdi Jasser: I resented that they were exploiting the religion I love. After 9/11, I started looking into what was driving radical Islam. I came across an alarming document that reveals the true agenda of much of the Muslim leadership here in America.

Dr. Zuhdi Jasser: It didn't take long after 9/11 until it was revealed that Muslims were behind the attacks. I had expected to see Muslims in America taking to the streets and protesting against bin Laden. Instead, in the years that followed, we saw many Muslim leaders standing up to defend or support the radicals.

Guest (Male): Stop calling them suicide bombers! They are not suicide bombers! They are heroes!

Guest (Male): And it's about time that we have an Intifada in this country that change fundamentally the political dynamics in here!

Dr. Zuhdi Jasser: So I formed my own organization, and I protested.

Guest (Male): Where are the Muslims? Where are they in speaking out and condemning terrorism?

Guest (Female): If one wants to find out what is motivating radical Islam, surely it's more sensible to look at what they actually say they're doing and what their intentions actually are.

Guest (Male): The main goal of our jihad and resistance is to implement the law of Allah and to fight against the infidels all over the world and implement one religion across the world.

Dr. Zuhdi Jasser: I think the New York City Muslim Day parade is a perfect microcosm of Muslim representation in America. You had a majority of Muslims that were of all races, creeds and heritage that were celebrating their country and were clearly proud of being American.

Guest (Male): I live in America, I work in America, I sleep in America, I was born in America, I love this country.

Dr. Zuhdi Jasser: But unfortunately, there are also those Muslims that hold more radical views.

Guest (Male): Islam will dominate. That's what it will be.

Dr. Zuhdi Jasser: Have you ever stopped to think about what would happen if the Islamists won and their version of Sharia Law was put into place? All you need to do is look at countries like Saudi Arabia, Iran, Sudan, and Somalia, and places like the Gaza Strip, and you'll see that those places are human rights disasters.

Dr. Zuhdi Jasser: If women are caught wearing the wrong clothing, they could be fined or even arrested.

Guest (Female): As a woman, if you and all individuals are different, but if you are an individual woman with a strong character, and you rebel against this kind of life, you run more than anyone else, the risk of being beaten, abused, your spirit being killed by your own family, by your own loved ones.

Dr. Zuhdi Jasser: But the issue of men controlling women's lives goes much deeper. It can even result in murder.

Guest (Female): According to the United Nations, some 5,000 women and girls are victims of so-called honor killings every year. Whether it's because they've been seen talking to a man, refusing an arranged marriage, or even suffering rape, they're murdered for one reason only: they're perceived to have brought shame on their family. And it's often the family that carries out the sentence.

Dr. Zuhdi Jasser: It's not just women and children that are repressed in these countries. You would never want the government to find out you're gay.

Guest (Female): In a society where radical Islam rules, gays are seen to be people with a contagious disease. A very bad disease.

Guest (Male): We are homosexuals, destroy sodomizers! We are Muslims, and we'll never stand silent against this act because Allah Subhanahu wa Ta'ala condemns homosexuality.

Guest (Male): In Iran, we don't have homosexuals like you in your country. We don't have that in our country.

Dr. Zuhdi Jasser: In a hair-raising number, the Pew Research Center reports on a new poll that as many as one in four young American Muslims condone suicide bombings against civilians, at least sometimes. From what I last heard, the US government has stopped over 31 attacks against the US since 9/11. The major funding of terror is definitely oil.

Guest (Male): Saudi Arabia is making hundreds of billions of dollars every year in oil revenues. And in 2006, for example, they made over 150 billion dollars. Now, where is the money being used?

Laurie Cardoza-Moore: From studying history, it's very clear that what starts with the Jews never ends only with the Jews. We must strongly stand against any anti-Semitic trends.

Laurie Cardoza-Moore: For if not stopped, they'll cause harm to all of us, and we'll witness the downfall of our Judeo-Christian Western culture.

Laurie Cardoza-Moore: Today, many people say there's no longer a need for a Jewish state. That Jews around the world no longer need a place of refuge.

Laurie Cardoza-Moore: But anyone who has heard recent statistics about the worldwide rise in anti-Semitism would never make such a claim.

Laurie Cardoza-Moore: The reality is that neo-Nazi groups and Nazi sympathizers are increasing around the world. Surveys show that over 1 billion people in the world harbor anti-Semitic attitudes.

Laurie Cardoza-Moore: Close to 50% believe that Jews have too much power in the business world, and two-thirds of the world's population has never heard of the Holocaust or believe the historic accounts of it are inaccurate.

Laurie Cardoza-Moore: Don't let yourself be manipulated by evil people with a wicked agenda. When the self-serving villains are in control, good people from all religions suffer.

Laurie Cardoza-Moore: Muslims, Christians, and all people of conscience should stand proudly and show respect for a country that gives so much to the world in so many ways.

Laurie Cardoza-Moore: This is not just a Jewish or just an Israeli problem. This is a problem for all humanity. For each and every one of us who believe in freedom and human rights.

Dr. Zuhdi Jasser: In today's context, there are actually two different types of jihad. There is the violent jihad where the Islamists use violence and terror to try to overthrow their enemy. And then there's what has been termed the cultural jihad, where these Islamists use in a most duplicitous way the laws and the rights they are given in our society to try to work against society and overthrow it.

Guest (Male): The oil producing countries exercise enormous influence not only on education but even on policy.

Guest (Female): One of the principal means of spreading influence is to endow departments of Middle East Studies at very respected universities. And the students who go to these universities are then being taught the Saudi point of view on Islam.

Dr. Zuhdi Jasser: Many of the Saudi-funded courses profess the noble aim of bridging the gap between Islam and Christianity. But this is absurd when one considers that there isn't even one church in all of Saudi Arabia.

Dr. Zuhdi Jasser: And Americans are being told that many of the mainstream Muslim groups are also moderate. When in fact, if you look a little closer, you'll see a very different reality. One of their primary tactics is deception.

Guest (Male): War is deception.

Dr. Zuhdi Jasser: The FBI uncovered a secret document that seems to answer this and many other questions. This is believed to be the manifesto of the Muslim Brotherhood in North America.

Dr. Zuhdi Jasser: On page seven, the document states that their work in America is a kind of a grand jihad in eliminating and destroying the Western civilization from within. And then it speaks about setting up groups and mosques and Islamic centers to achieve their ultimate goal, which is to destroy the miserable houses of the West so that they will be expelled and that Allah's religion is made victorious over all other religions.

Dr. Zuhdi Jasser: And at the end of the document, it lists the organizations that can help in carrying out these goals. Not only are many of these groups still in existence today, but they are the very groups who are thought to be the moderate Muslim leadership of America.

Dr. Zuhdi Jasser: Where does CAIR fit into all of this? In 1994, CAIR was established by three of the leaders from the IEP. And it's well documented that the IEP was essentially a front group for Hamas. So perhaps that would explain why CAIR won't condemn terror groups like Hamas. And also why they avoided participating in my Muslims against terror rally in 2004.

Dr. Zuhdi Jasser: One week, a home video showed up on the internet with children acting out a beheading scene. Later, a video clip from Pakistan showed a 12-year-old doing it for real, beheading a traitor to the Taliban.

Dr. Zuhdi Jasser: Even kids' entertainment is laced with Islamist propaganda. They use characters that look like Mickey Mouse to teach eventual Islamic domination over the world.

Guest (Female): When you have Muslims who are willing to kill their own children for political advantages. Wrap bomb on them and send them out. If you can kill your own children, what prevents you of killing my children?

Dr. Zuhdi Jasser: The real war is not a war against a bunch of terrorists. It's a war between the values of freedom and democracy and the values of barbarism. This is the real war that's happening now.

Dr. Zuhdi Jasser: We've got to get involved and be part of the solution. We have to educate ourselves and others. We must insist the media tells the full story.

Dr. Zuhdi Jasser: We must demand an end to the incitement of children and demand human rights and freedom for the citizens of Islamic countries. We must ask that Muslims and their leaders take a stand against Sharia replacing Western law. And we have to support leaders that stand up to radical Islam.

Dr. Zuhdi Jasser: We will win this if enough people stand up for the American freedoms and liberties that our forefathers fought to create.

Dr. Zuhdi Jasser: I want to share with you my goal, my mission as an American, as a patriot, taking on the Islamic establishment. Because it's not about being Muslim, it's about the Islamists. You know, he's talking about death threats before and now with AOC and all of them basically hiccuping death threats at anyone that criticizing them as somehow invoking death threats, there are those of us who really have had death threats for our work. And at the end of the day, it's what about freedom, it's the price we pay for freedom.

Dr. Zuhdi Jasser: Abraham Lincoln, I think, had it right when he said America was the last best hope for mankind. But he also had it right when he said America will never be destroyed from the outside if we falter and lose our freedoms, it will be because we destroyed ourselves.

Dr. Zuhdi Jasser: And I think there's nothing more, more apropos to that quote than what we are seeing in some of the leading Islamic leaders in America who are Islamists who really don't see Americanism.

Dr. Zuhdi Jasser: What we do for freedom as a force of good, but rather are on the side of socialism, are on the side of Islamism and political Islam and the Islamic state.

Dr. Zuhdi Jasser: Are we engaging Muslims that believe in dying for America or are we engaging Muslims that believe the only thing they die for is jihad?

Dr. Zuhdi Jasser: I served, as I said, in the Navy, and I think ultimately that many American Muslims believe in service, be it in the military or wherever they may serve. And yet their voices are being drowned out by the polarization that's happening, especially from the left, that uses identity politics as a bludgeon against anybody that wants to take them on.

Dr. Zuhdi Jasser: And they exploit my faith, which is an idea, and they racialize Islam. Islam is not a race, it's an idea. They gaslight America into thinking you're racist because you want to take on not a faith, but a political ideology of theocracy that is incompatible with Americanism.

Dr. Zuhdi Jasser: This is what's happening with the merger of the left and the Islamists, they're beginning to denigrate our institutions that are at the core democratic. You see the main fatwa factory in America, produce fatwas that American Muslims should not participate in our Pentagon, in our border services, in our police, etc. because they are anti-Muslim.

Dr. Zuhdi Jasser: The what's happening in our shores that's destroying the most valuable assets in this global battle for religious liberty, which are American Muslim Patriots.

Dr. Zuhdi Jasser: And yet in Congress now, we see icons that are becoming icons for the left that are representing this merger, we I've known about a long time and by the way, as much as I detest almost everything Ilhan Omar stands for, except the immigration icon that she represents as a welcoming country that embraced her family. Everything else of her ideas, I reject. And yet she somehow becomes a representative of American Muslims, despite her vicious anti-Semitism and anti-Israel stances and promotion of BDS, which is basically a global movement to do away with Israel.

Dr. Zuhdi Jasser: I believe the civil rights movement of today is inside the mosques. If we, if we Muslims get this wrong, if Iran gets a nuclear weapon, if the Islamists and the militants continue to dominate our countries, the world will never be safe.

Dr. Zuhdi Jasser: A quarter of the world's population cannot continue to get their theology wrong and not believe in religious freedom and continue to leave the rest of the world alone. That's not their plan, so we need to have an offense. We've not had an offense. We've been playing whack-a-mole, we've been playing defense for generations, and the time is now to stop. And as a conservative, I'm here to tell you, it's time to take offense in the ideas of liberty.
