Mike Fabarez: As everyone in the church seeks to serve, 1 Corinthians 12:22 reminds us that the parts of the body that seem weaker, they're actually indispensable. The implication is no matter how God has gifted you to serve, whether on the platform or in some supporting role that's not well seen, we can give ourselves wholeheartedly and enthusiastically to the way in which God has called us to serve.
No part of the body is unimportant. Every committed and participating servant is indispensable to the others. The church will never become healthy, will never get productive, until each part is working properly. We should strive to master and maximize our individual contributions to the welfare of the church. And then, we can intentionally look around and see and acknowledge and appreciate every part that serves in the body of Christ.
