Mike Fabarez: It's hard to get through a week of news and not hear the cultural pundits tell us that we've got to get on the right side of history. Now, I'm all for it. Calling people to faithfully follow Christ and hold fast to His word is what it's all about to be on the right side of history. The problem is many people are willfully ignorant as to where real history is going.
Second Peter 3:13 tells us that history is going to culminate with Christ establishing a new earth in which righteousness dwells. Revelation 22:15 says that all those who reject Christ and His truth are going to be cast out and excluded. So what side of history do you fall on? Assured of where history is headed, we would do well to get unashamedly on the right side. Embrace the truth and help others to do the same.
