Realizing that the spiritual warfare would be intense, she asked another mother to pray with her for their kids' protection. That was the humble beginning of Moms in Prayer International, a ministry which now has groups in all 50 states and 140 countries worldwide. When Julia Jeffress Sadler was told she was pregnant with triplets, she was terrified! She had already endured the pain of three miscarriages the previous year and was worried that something could happen. "What is gained if I am silenced, if I go down to the pit? Will the dust praise You? Will it proclaim Your faithfulness?" After initially going into labor at 23 weeks and spending 49 days on bedrest, Julia successfully delivered her three healthy babies.

She spent hours sharing photo albums and treasured memories of her time with her late husband, with whom she served as missionary in the Virgin Islands.
