Ron Susek: Have you ever wondered why our world is in such an adversarial mess? Nations rising against nations just as it has been since the beginning of time. We'll talk about that today. It's absolutely important. Stay with me. I'll be right back.

Guest (Male): Finding and knowing God is a faith walk. The Bible says that without faith it is impossible to please God. Our hope lies in the coming Messiah who will establish God's peaceful kingdom on earth. This is faith walk with Ron Sucevic. Ron Susek: Isn't it something how the lie of Satan has infected the governments of the world for 6,000 years? In the garden Lucifer said to Adam you shall be as God. I know he said that first to Eve and Eve said it to Adam, but the same thing is there and Adam bought into that. What was Lucifer actually saying? You shall be as God. You shall be the supreme ruler. And you can't do that. We were cast out of the garden and we began to form little groups of people, families, then cities, then empires. And my friend from that day to this, 6,000 years later, we have had nothing but adversarial politics going on.

Let's conquer those people. Let's take from that. Let's force them to pay taxes to us. Let's hold them as our slaves so that they build our kingdom at virtually nothing but food and water. What an evil, what an evil degradation. How we have reversed the heart of a loving God who always gives, who always builds, who always protects, who always saves, who always redeems. No, not us. We use one another. We use nations. We go in to rape their lands. We go in to take their properties. My friend, our world is loaded with power, adversarial politics.

That has been true ever since Adam first built bit into the fruit. Now, I want you to understand that because many times even we as Christians have arguments about what is the best government. What do you want? Do you want a republic like America? Well, if that was so flawless, how in the world have we degenerated to where we are today whereby our civilization is divided against itself and we have seen all kinds of movement away from God. We have seen our world degenerate around us. And let's go back. It perhaps began with the enlightenment movement when man began to say the philosophers that reason is supreme and superior and even deified the reason of man.

And with that we then began America. And let me tell you, we have wonderful, wonderful biblical principles in our constitution. No question about that. But my friend, we missed one thing and even some of our founding fathers saw it. You don't just succeed on the principles of God. You succeed by the power of God alone. As you employ his principles, you are seeking his face and seeking his power so that he will bless and he will increase. He will protect. Ah, but no. We sprinkled in some powerful, powerful divine principles. Freedom for all. The rights of all.

Yes, those are wonderful things that many governments leave out. But the fact of the matter is we then went on to buy one of hell's greatest lies and that is evolution. And out of evolution, when we decided that we are nothing but animals, we then decided that a child in a womb is a blob. So we are free to kill it. And now we have over 60 70 million massacres in the wombs of women in America on our bloody hands before God. And then and then we decided, you know, God, I don't think that we need to be bringing him into education.

Let's get him out of education. So when I was a young lad growing up, we had prayer and Bible reading every day to start the day. That day is gone. Now you can't even carry a Bible to school. Now get it out of here. Why? Because man thinks he can be the supreme ruler of intellect, of government, of life on earth. And my friend, how much evidence do we need that we always end up in hopeless corruption? What kind of a government do you want? Do you want a republic like America? Well, we've not done so well.

Do you want a monarchy and king and queen like England? Well, at one time they they were the reign of the world. They say the sun never set on the British Empire. Yeah, right. Okay. I also been to the countries where they once reigned and were kicked out. They were first kicked out of America, then kicked out of country after country until they shrank from being a global empire down to an island. Oh, yes, they still have their palace and they still have their wealth and they have this and that, all of which they got out of raping other countries.

Don't get angry at me. Don't get angry at me. Friends, these are the facts. This is how it goes. Uh, do you want a dictatorship? Oh, one man with a bunch of thugs around him and if you don't agree with him and do what he wants you to do, he has them kill you or imprison you. Is that you want? My friend, what I'm trying to drive at is this. There's not a government that man has made on earth that we cannot find raw corruption in. Some good things, yes. But my friend, those good things are quite often overthrown by evil, evil people throwing God out of education, throwing God out of government, throwing God out of our society, throwing God out of the courts.

We swear on the Bible and then lie in the Oh, my friend, where are we going from here? Here's what I'm driving out. America is not the solution. England is not the solution. Russia is not the solution. China is not the solution. None of the governments of the world are the solution. In fact, I want to take you to Psalm chapter two to see the picture as God sees it in heaven. And this will make sense to you. Come with me to Psalm chapter two which begins this way. Why do the nations rage and the people's plot in vain?

The kings of the earth set themselves. In other words, they establish themselves and the rulers take counsel together against the Lord and against his anointed saying, let us burst their bonds apart and cast away the cords from us. Pause there. What is that saying to us? Think about it. This is God's word showing that the nations of the world, the nations the world here and empires that are gone buried in the sands of time, we go back and try to dig them up and make something out of them more. They were as corrupt as we are today.

What what are we saying? God is saying that the nations are warring against me, against my loving divine rule as the God and creator of all things, not creating things to fling them out there to do their thing, but to create them for a loving relationship with me that as I rule them and then they rule as I rule as a servant to lift and build the other, not as a master to control and use. Ah, my friend, let's read on in this great chapter. It's an eye opener. Verse four. He who sits in the heavens laughs.

The Lord holds them in derision. Then he will speak to them in his wrath and terrify them in his fury saying, as for me, I have set my king on Zion, my holy hill. I will tell of the decree the Lord said to me, you are my son. Today I have begotten you. Pause there. What is he saying? Think about that. Think about this, American politicians. God is laughing. Every time you play hard ball politics, adversarial politics, every time you are doing power plays to keep yourself in power because you found out ways of making fortunes in government rather than serving the American people, face it up.

You know that's absolutely true. That's true in every nation. Ah, my friend, God laughs. Why? Because you will fail. You have failed. Down through the centuries, people like you have failed again and again. Look. I'm talking straight because there are millions of people living under this game of politics, suffering terribly. You know what's amazing to me here in America? Not only do we pay taxes supposedly so the government can Well, they call it the commonwealth. We pay taxes to the common the common everybody collecting their wealth together to serve the people. What? Serve the people?

No. To serve political ideologies that are thought up by hair brain people in universities that are degenerating and corrupt. I know I'm using harsh terms. I know I don't have time to spell all of that out in one short program. But I also know that you know what I 'm talking about and I know that you politicians know exactly what I'm talking about as well. I'm telling you that the game with God is coming to an end. You only play it so long. Don't mess with God. That's what we've been doing. Ah, but let's take a look at this.

In verse six, we read this or rather verse eight. Ask of me and I will make the nations your heritage. That's God speaking to his son Jesus Christ. And the ends of the earth your possession. You shall break them with a rod of iron and dash them in pieces like the potter's vessel. Pause there. What is he talking about? Read the book of Revelation. How is this world going to end? We have I forgive me. I want to be very careful not to be just be sarcastic. But we have non thinking people who don't understand the word of God at all telling us that it all ends in 10 to 12 years if we don't panic and do something now.

My friend, let me tell you, the beginning, the endurance, and the end of this world lies in the hands of almighty God. Not some silly brained idea conjured up to divide nations and create problems and ultimately to gain power. Now, what is God going to do? The Bible is very clear. Read the book of Revelation. The nations that have rebelled against God as their king for 6,000 years are going to come under judgment. It's called the apocalypse. Apocalypse means the revelation, the exposure of all evil. And God is going to bring down the nations in an hour.

Read the book of Revelation. He's going to bring the nations down in an hour. He's going to collapse them. What is he going to collapse? Just beat them up. No. He's going to expose all the folly that we have been using in government leadership and often in church leadership. I understand clearly it's invaded our churches, our schools, our courts, our government, our commerce. Every part of our civilization has been corrupted. And my friend, God is coming. And God is going to bring it to an end. Ah. Does that frighten you? It doesn't frighten me and I'll tell you why.

The redeemed of the Lord need not fear. Let me finish this chapter and then I 'll explain that in chapter two of Psalm. We read in verse nine, you shall break them with a rod of iron and dash them in pieces like potter's vessel. Now therefore, oh kings, be wise, be warned, oh rulers of the earth. Serve the Lord with fear and rejoice with trembling. Pause there. Doesn't the Bible say that if my people who are called by name will humble themselves and pray, I will hear and I will heal. Our governments, the best governments of earth and there are good ones.

Corrupt, but they have brought in some divine principles. But sadly these governments still set God on a mantle. Oh, he's our God. We bring him out on Sunday and but really we rush to the sports arenas. And so his temples and his cathedrals and his churches are are diminishing while we are packing stadiums and getting wealthy as people drink beer and laugh and cheer and go home and sleep it off. Oh, come on, friends. How far we are going to go with this? How far do we think we can play the game and escape? Ah, so the governments, what are they doing?

They are simply making laws that keep going down and down and down and degenerating to accommodate the evil desires of people in the public. And thus we see great confusion in our streets. Now we've our streets have turned to crime centers. Our cities are dangerous. We are watching our world decline and decline and decline all because we we refuse to come before God and say, oh God, we confess our sins. We repent of our sins. We want your ways. We want your rule, your leadership. Oh, Ron, what could be more stuffy than holiness? I'll tell you what can be more stuffy than holiness.

Self destruction and misery, corruption that degenerates the mind, the emotions, the body destroys the families and tears down the the the nations until we are in rags. I would call that pretty stuffy. If you want to breathe fresh air, if you want to see the vast horizon, if you want to see the sun rise, if you want to see the glory of the universe, choose to walk holy before God. He's not boring. His wonders go beyond imagination. His blessings surpass anything we have ever dreamed. Try it. Try righteousness. Try throwing off the drugs. Try getting rid of the booze.

Try getting rid of the sexual immorality. Try getting rid of these things. I know you'll have some cold sweats and some tough times. Go through it and cry out, God, help me. You created this body for your pleasure, not for my pleasure. And as I enter into your pleasure of goodness and holiness and righteousness, my body and my mind and my spirit becomes alive to that which really matters in life. Oh, let me read these closing verses in Psalm chapter two. Now therefore, oh kings, be wise, be warned, oh rulers of the earth. Serve the Lord with fear and rejoice with trembling.

Kiss the son. In other words, bow down and honor Jesus Christ lest he be angry and you perish in your way for his wrath is quickly kindled. Blessed are all who take refuge in him. We've had great revivals in history. We've had some revivals in America. Revivals have gone through England. Revivals have swept through various parts of the world in South America. Why are they short lived? Why are they like a wave that comes up and spends itself and dissipates? Why can't they be here to stay? Because we are in competition with evil people who fight hard.

They hate God. You just read about that in the Bible. They despise God. They fight against God. They war against God. And they do everything because they hate God and they hate you. It's interesting. Here in America already we have voices rising up saying the evangelical Christians are responsible for all of our problems. My friend, Nero played that game when he burned Rome and sat on a wall playing his fiddle. Why? Ah, so easy to create a lie and a falsehood and spread that and isn't it tragic that bad news and a lie travels around the world before the truth gets out of bed in the morning?

An old saying, I know, but it's true. My friend, it divides families, divides kingdoms and it's imperative that we understand this because our world refuses to repent. Because we have evil people working their way into government and education and economy and courts, every area of society because we have this. It's all going to have to come to a crashing end. When God comes in the great tribulation and God reveals all the truth and the world will turn against itself. We read that in Revelation chapter 17, the last verses where the kings of the earth are going to become disgusted with this Babylonian philosophy that despises God and they are going to turn on her and burn her.

The Bible says God's going to collapse it in an hour. But listen, hang on with me. It's far greater than that. After this great collapse, which is a very short period of time, the worst of it lasting only about three and a half years from what we detect from the Bible. Think about this. It's all because God is clearing the way for a new kingdom, the kingdom of God that will be under the reign of his son, the coming Messiah. His son who proved himself worthy in the life that he lived never sinning. His son who went to the cross to pay with his blood because his blood was pure.

He never sinned. He could pay for your sins and mine and wash our sins away. And thus Jesus said before he died, seek ye first the kingdom of God and his righteousness. Seek it first. Put it ahead of everything and all these things will be added unto you. My friend, the smartest thing you can do We may not be able to change the tide of nations until God brings them down. Hopefully by the grace of God, I would love to see a revival sweep America, England, various parts of Europe, Russia, oh China. China had its day.

Oh, how I wish we could see that. But we may be too close to the end. I don't know that. I don't see God's calendar. But what I do know is that that tribulation is coming and then the Messiah comes. I want you in that kingdom of God. But you must prepare today. Seek ye first the kingdom of God and his righteousness and all these things shall be added unto you. How do you do that? You begin by confession and repentance. On an individual level, you can't change a family until you change you. You can't change a world until you change you.

And only God can change you. Here's how it happens. First John 1:9 says, if And that word if makes a condition you and I have to meet. If we confess our sins confession means I agree with God against myself. I'm done self justifying myself. I am now confessing. I am a selfish sinner trying to do my own thing. If we confess our sins, he is faithful. His character is unwavering. He loves you. He is faithful and just. What does that mean just? He is legally bound to his son's death to do what he promised to do.

What did he promise to do? Forgive us our sins. Literally lift the file of ordinances he has against you and me out of heaven and nail it to the cross of Jesus Christ. Separate us from our sins as far as the east is from the west to remember them no more. Forgive us our sins and cleanse us, cleanse us, change us, transform us into the likeness of Jesus Christ. And then you shall rule and reign with Christ as a co-equal heir with Christ in this great coming kingdom of righteousness where you will breathe a new breath.

You will see new horizons you've never seen. You will see the glory of God shine. My friend, if you want to be in that kingdom, I'm going to give you a prayer to pray right now. But think this through and make this your prayer. Let's pray this together. Dear God, on the basis that Jesus died for me, I'm trusting your forgiveness for all my sins. I'm asking you for the power to live committed to you from now until I meet you in heaven. I pray in Jesus name. Amen. I hope that you'll write to me and let me know that you want to be part of my one in a million team.
