Ron Susek: Hello, friend. Ron Susek here. I'm so glad you're with me today because I get disturbed the more I study about the Assyrians to think of how we have been robbed of such rich information. Did you know that they were the mega-voice of the gospel in the launch days of Christianity? You are going to be thrilled with what you're going to hear today. Stay with me. I'll be right back.

Guest (Male): Finding and knowing God is a faith walk. The Bible says that without faith, it is impossible to please God. Our hope lies in the coming Messiah, who will establish God's peaceful kingdom on Earth. This is FaithWalk with Ron Susek. Dr. Ron is an evangelist committed to encourage and equip your faith walk as we pass through these turbulent end-time days awaiting the soon-coming kingdom. Here again is Ron Susek.

Ron Susek: Jeremiah 6:16 says, "Thus says the Lord: Stand by the roads, and look, and ask for the ancient paths." This world thinks it's going into the future. The answer lies in the past. Elon Musk, I'd love to meet him someday to tell him, "Elon, stop wasting your money on Mars. Don't blow it. Don't be dumb all of a sudden. You're brilliant. Don't be dumb all of a sudden. Read your Bible. This is the planet God built for humanity. He didn't say anything about Mars."

Look at the good way and walk in it, and find rest for your souls. All the complications we face in the world lie in God's highways of the past. We stood at the crossroads as humanity. Adam in the garden started it when he chose to bite of the tree of the fruit of good and evil. He didn't realize that when you bite of that, the goodness that once prevailed in you, now evil prevails in you. That's why we all have spiritual battles going on within us and in our world.

The highway is named Holy in Isaiah 35:8: "And a highway shall be there, and it shall be called the Way of Holiness. The unclean shall not pass over it, and it shall belong to those who walk on the way. Even if they are fools, they shall not go astray." What are we talking about? The gospel. The world will finally so understand the gospel, the ways of God, even a fool will be able to be directed in it.

Now, did you see a little thing in that verse? Here's a surprise for some of us: there's going to be even evil people in the coming kingdom of Christ. There's going to be bad people. How do we know? Those will be the people not permitted on the highway. Well, if there were no bad people, if the coming kingdom of Christ were heaven, there would be no bad people there, no evil people. They will be there. But Satan—and by the way, this is why I think Satan is fighting this prophecy with all he has—when it is fulfilled, he is chained for a thousand years in the pit.

He's going to fight this with everything he has, which is why I need a prayer team. The third thing I want you to see: what is the purpose of this highway of holiness? Number one, as I mentioned earlier, it is symbolic, setting a global standard for holiness. Holiness in what? I believe that—well, let me build another picture in your mind. Here's what I think this threesome of these nations is.

We have the picture of it with Moses when Israel was at war and Moses is praying on a mountain. Remember that? He got tired. When his arms were lower, they were losing. When his arms were up, they were winning. Aaron took one arm, Hur took the other arm, and they held his arms up and they won the battle. Here we have Israel where the Messiah sits on David's throne. In the south, we're going to have Egypt. In the north, we're going to have Assyria.

Those three are one in Christ and surrounding as service to the Messiah, coming to Jerusalem on that highway of holiness to worship God. Now listen, this is vital. Worship is the pathway to peace. You can't have peace ever until you're of one mind and one spirit and one God. Think about that. You cannot have peace ever until you're of one mind, one heart, and one God. That's what you're going to have between these three nations. They will become one in Christ.

Here's the glorious thing. We already have Messianic Jews. We already have 10 million Coptic Christian Egyptians. We already have Assyria virtually 100% Christian for 2,000 years, with their faith tested in unbelievable ways for 2,000 years and particularly in the last several hundred years. Let me pause here and just give you a little taste of what they've been through. They would be a nation of 30 million people right now today. But every time, at least every 100 years, Islam attacks them and just massacres them.

At the end of World War I, two-thirds of the Assyrian people were massacred—literally just shot dead, thrown in graves. 100 years later, ISIS attacks almost to the same date. It's a madness, and there's a commitment to wipe out the Assyrian Christians. That tells us an awful lot of where God is heading. Let me put a face on that for you. I was sharing with the pastor that I'm working with a man named Sabro Bengoto, who had a different name for years just to survive.

Now that he's in America, getting his doctorate, phenomenal activist, Assyrian, he came back to his original true name, Sabro Bengoto. I'd love to have him here to share with you someday. But he has over 200 interviews with people who went through some of these massacres and survived. There was one man, 107 years of age, who would not let him interview him. Many Assyrians here in America today and in Canada—they're scattered around the world: Britain, South America. I mean, they're everywhere.

Finally, this man called Sabro and said, "Okay, I'll do the interview." Sabro went to his home, really excited, and he set up his equipment to record him all in Aramaic. When they sat down, the man began to ask Sabro questions. He said, "How many eyes do you see?" He said, "I see two." He says, "Sabro, these eyes watched my mother being violated. These eyes watched my younger brother being murdered." Then he bawled like a baby.

Within a minute, he collected himself, and Sabro said, "Sir, if you don't mind, may I ask? That was 100 years ago. Why are you so emotional now?" He said, "That was 100 years ago for you. That was my nightmare last night. That's my nightmare every night." Because even though he was a boy at the time, he's being hammered with guilt: "Why didn't you do something?" Well, he couldn't have. They'd have killed him.

Anytime you survive a situation like that, you're going to live with a hell in your heart for the rest of your life. Tens of thousands are going to bed like that every night, my friends. Here's the beauty. I don't know of any Christian people that have suffered more dearly than the Assyrians over the last 2,000 years, and they never betrayed Jesus Christ. They dress differently than us. They have a different structure to their service. They're very liturgical. So many evangelicals write them off saying, "Well, they can't even really be true Christians."

All right, let me put you and me through the last 2,000 years. The test is on the field, and they have passed the test because they never rose up to retaliate. In fact, in my book—please get the book—I have in 1928 their patriarch, a young man, I think he was in his high 20s. He was called by a man named Simko, a Kurd, to his home to talk about peace: "How can we have peace together?"

He was sent there by the Assyrian leadership with 50 guards on horses behind him. He's in a carriage. They got to Simko's home. Simko came out and, as you've seen in the Middle East, began to kiss his hand and bow to him and swish, and escorted him in the house. They had lunch. Two hours later or so, they came out and Simko's still so aglow with all the peace they talked about, escorted him to the carriage, faded out of the scene, and his army stood up from rooftops and massacred the patriarch.

The beloved patriarch and 48 of his 50 guards were all killed. The patriarch dove over his horses. They riddled him as he was going down between the horses, and he died by the horses' feet. Two men survived to tell the story. That's how we know the story. That was the late 1920s or early 1930s. I'm not sure. I'd have to nail that down. I know that it was 1928 when it happened, so it would have been a year or so after that.

In the book, his brother became the next patriarch. He is sitting in front of a group of Assyrians at a refugee camp: tattered, broken, penniless. He gave the most powerful sermon I think I've just about ever read. It's in the book, very short. One of his lines was this—if this is not Christian, nothing is. He said, "Maybe we have not yet shed enough blood. And we are here by the hand of the Almighty for the people of our race who do not know the truth."

Now, here's what I think God is doing. This is what we need to be praying for. I just told you that by the grace of God, I was able to get a two-page proposal to President Trump. A congressman, a former congressman, said, "Ron, don't go to the Congress or Senate. It'll take 30 years. All you need is an executive order and the game's over." Now Trump is saying, "It's on my radar." Be praying for the right people to surround him because everybody will want to milk it down.

But here is the beautiful thing. If that executive order comes and Assyria is established—now watch these words, these are technical words—as a sovereign state: no Kurds over them, no Arabs over them, nobody over them. Just like America, a sovereign state. We are now—I'm already now talking with the Assyrian hierarchy about what we need to fix to make it a truly Christian nation. Would you not agree that even though we have the greatest constitution in the world, our forefathers left some barn doors open and we're paying a price for it today?

I'm not criticizing them. They came out of Europe Christianized. They didn't see down the road the madness of people not knowing what a woman is, what a man is, sports—you name it. You know the confusion we're in today. Well, where did that come from? We left a barn door open that free speech is anybody saying anything they want to say. That's just one area. I would like to bring together some of our top lawyers in the country who know the Lord and say, "Look, here is an opportunity to build a true, thorough—not Christianized—constitution, a Christian constitution."

You say, "Ron, it can't be done." Why not? If I come to your home, who's the head of your home? Tell me. Besides your wife, who's the head of your home? Your husband, the father. You have the right to tell me the boundaries I have in your home, right? If I violate the boundaries, you have the right to show me where the door is, right? Well, if that's true of a family, why isn't that true of a nation? Here is a Christian people that if we plant them in the Middle East, which is in the heart of Islam, we have just put the light of the world for the world to see.

This would be the greatest evangelistic thrust of our lifetimes. That's what I'm looking at. Why? It wouldn't cost them a penny. The press is going to be there by the thousands. How did you do this? How did you pull this off? Who are you people? President Trump didn't even know who they were. In Phoenix, Arizona, they asked him, "Would you say our name in front of the camera sometime?" He did, and he mispronounced it so badly nobody knew who he was talking about. They corrected him as he was walking off the stage and he said to his handler, "Well, who are the Assyrians?"

Zero information. But that's not going to last. Let's continue on with analyzing this prophecy. The purpose of the highway: it is a literal highway connecting—by the way, sorry to interrupt your thought, but if you want these notes, give me your name and address. I won't give you these because these are my speaking notes and you won't understand a thing. I'm going to take this home and my wife is a genius. She is, and she will edit this and make it translated into English and I'll be glad to send you a copy.

I want you to learn this. I want you to possess it and own it and we just need the body of Christ to rise up and stand with this. All right, it will connect Assyria in the north. It's a symbolic highway and it's the highway of holiness. We are declared to be holy by God. We are declared to be blameless by God through the blood of the Lamb, not by our own works. We do have the privilege of striving to walk in holiness, and they will be walking that highway to have a worship oneness in spirit.

In joint worship, what are you doing? You are honoring the very purpose of creation. We were created to worship God. There are 24 elders who never tire of falling on their faces and worshiping God 24 hours a day. Then they will be a blessing in service, and that is a wellspring of love. These three nations: one in the north, one in the south, one in the middle. Isn't it interesting that the Bible talks about the threefold strength?

In Ecclesiastes, we read, "And though a man might prevail against one who is alone, two will withstand him; a threefold cord is not quickly broken." Ecclesiastes 4:13. Isn't it interesting? The Trinity is threefold strength: the Father, the Son, the Holy Spirit. Your family is threefold strength: father, wife, children. Threefold. There's something here to be considered. Egyptians and Assyrians will worship together. One heart of one mind, which is the pathway to peace.

Then again, it says with emphasis, "In that day," strong emphasis on the end-time application. Ephesians chapter 2, verses 14 to 16—I won't read them all, but I'll just give you some highlights. "For he himself is our peace and has made us both one and has broken down in his flesh the dividing wall of hostility." In other words, I'll go back to what I said earlier. You are co-equal with Jews. Let's get out of this idea that Jews are favored children.

My own pastor, when I was showing him this, he said, "Ron, all my life I felt like a second-class Christian citizen." Why? Because we're to hold the Jew up here. We are. No question. They brought salvation to the world. But on the cross, Jesus' blood tore down the wall of hostility between the Jew and the Gentile. Hostility comes when someone thinks they're superior to you and you're irritated by that. Jesus made us one in Christ.

Now, that doesn't lower the Jew, but it raises you. You with me? It doesn't lower the Jew. It raises our responsibility. So this is not—I've been to Israel 12 or 13 times. I went there on a study trip. I love the place, so don't think for a moment I'm in any way denigrating the Jew, but I am elevating you because God elevated you at the cross. Are you with me on that? I hope you're getting that because I know that we've been so indoctrinated that "Don't touch the Jew, be careful." Yeah, of course.

But I better treat you the same as I would treat a Jew. Number six: a blessing in the midst of the earth. What could that blessing be? I wrestled with that for weeks and weeks and prayed and read, and I'm going to tell you what I think the blessing is. I believe that the Assyrians in the north, the Egyptians in the south, and the Jew in the middle, they are walking what highway? What's the name of the highway? Holiness.

Holiness is not some strange thing. It's just right living. It's just living with a heart unto God. So let's not let Satan play it into something that it is not until we're living in a fictitious world about it. Holiness and righteousness walk hand in hand, and righteousness and justice are in the foundation of God's throne. Building a picture here: holiness, righteousness, and justice and love, of course, are absolutely essential. That's what God is.

What's the blessing you're taking to the world? Teaching them how to have a new tractor? No. Teaching the ways of God. That's what the highway is all about. It is both a literal highway and a symbolic highway of the ways of God. I believe that what's going to be happening in the millennial reign is that these people will be going to all the highways and byways of the world—the concept of highway—teaching the ways of God for justice in the courts, teaching the ways of God for commerce, teaching the ways of God for the family, teaching the ways of God for worship, teaching the ways of God.

Why? Because we know that there are going to be evil people in that kingdom. Let me give you one of the strongest evidences that there will be evil people. What happens at the end of the millennial reign? Satan is released, and what does he do? Looks for followers and can't find any? No. He's able to round up a pretty big army to attack Jesus Christ one more time, and he'll fail. We also know that any nation that does not bring their yearly offering to Jerusalem to present to the Messiah will not have rain, and they'll perish.

So we do know there will be evil mingled in the millennial reign. So here we have that threefold cord, the three nations combined, two Gentiles and one Jew, all gathered together to walk that highway. Together they are collaborating the ways of God and they are worshiping God, and then they are taking that out to the world: justice, righteousness, purity. There'll be no Satan to mess it up. Is this making sense to you?

It's the only thing that's making sense to me as to what this blessing would be. They will be active in implanting the ways of God in the world. That's really exciting. By the way, this is exactly why along with seeking to get Assyria home, I'm now meeting with their officials because I want to do everything I can—not me alone. I want to get the best friends that I have who really know the Lord and know the scriptures to help them prepare their people for the role they're to play.

We need to do that for the Copts. You may say, "Well, why? They've been such loyal Christians." They have been. Here's what's amazing. They have been with a great deal of ignorance, and I'll tell you why. They didn't have time to study the Bible. Their patriarchs had no time to study the Bible. They escaped for 100 years into the Hakari mountains, which is just north of Iraq and goes into Turkey.

Those mountains are more impossible to climb than the Swiss Alps. But they escaped there to live for 500 years because everybody wanted to kill them. That's where the armies in World War I found them and said, "If you will help us win this war, we will give you your land and let you be a nation again." They fought that war valiantly, and they called them the littlest ally—that was their name. At the end, when the League of Nations got together, they wouldn't even let them in the door. They were betrayed.

World War II, England said, "Help us win this war and we will stand with you until you become a nation again." What happened? Winston Churchill, as much as I admire him, decided not to waste his money on Iraq. They had the mandate to take care of Iraq. He pulled that mandate out, walked out, and that turned the Assyrians over to what's known August 7, 1933, the Simele massacre. Someone said "jihad," the magic word, and all the friends and neighbors who were friendly with them rose up and literally at dawn just riddled their homes up and down this river until somewhere between 3,000 and 6,000 were massacred.

Priests were laid on the ground alive, put Bibles on their chests and lit on fire. Young ladies were taken into the weeds, raped, and then sold into sex slavery. Friends, it is so godless if it ever made the movies, you would not be able to sit there and look at it. It is horrible what happened over and over and over again. I can't exaggerate it. That's why most Assyrians in Canada and America that I've met are still living in post-traumatic stress disorder.

Guest (Male): Dr. Ron has been talking to us about the end-time days and wants us to prepare for the coming kingdom. He has written a book titled *The Assyrian Prophecy* that is a missing part of the end-times puzzle.

"And he who sat on the throne said, 'Behold, I make all things new.' Write, for these words are true and faithful." The world is not ending. God is preparing a new world soon to begin. My new book, *The Assyrian Prophecy*, reveals how Assyria will join with Israel and Egypt to bless the world under the soon-coming Messiah. Amid today's chaos, God is searching for righteous people through whom he will bring the prophecy to completion. When you reach the end of this book, one question will be in your mind: "Lord, what would you have me to do?"

You can learn more at theassyrianproject.org. Well, thanks for being with us today, and we hope you'll join us again next week as we find courage for the journey in our FaithWalk.

Return of the Martyrs

“Return of the Martyrs” by Ron Susek explores the spiritual significance of Christian martyrdom throughout history and its ongoing impact. Martyrs, those who willingly die for their faith, serve as ultimate witnesses to Christ, inspiring others and strengthening the Church, as seen in examples from Stephen and Polycarp to modern missionaries. While martyrdom brings deep suffering to families and witnesses, it ultimately demonstrates love for God surpassing worldly hatred.
