There’s a misconception that many new Christians have. They somehow think that since they are now saved, all the troubles in life will suddenly disappear. As we know, that’s hardly the case. In fact, it is usually the opposite that takes place - the trials increase. But the truth, God will use the tough times in life to increase our faith in Him. The older generation has a responsibility to point the younger men and women in the right direction - the Godly direction! That’s the theme here in Psalm seventy-one.
